Our journey begins with O'Sullivan's early life in Chiswick, London, tracing his steps to fame from childhood through his groundbreaking role in "Man About The House." But the story takes a twist, as we delve into why he stepped back from the spotlight. Was it a choice, or did circumstances lead him away from fame?
Then, we switch focus to Sally Thomsett, whose life off-camera was a rollercoaster of romance and unexpected turns. We'll explore her relationships, her decisions that steered her away from acting, and how her life intertwined with O'Sullivan's.
Expect a mix of nostalgia, surprises, and revelations as we uncover little-known facts about their lives. From their early days of fame to the quiet lives they chose later, this video covers it all. We're not just rehashing old stories; we're revealing the real lives behind the public personas.
Join us as we recount the highs and lows, the laughs and the tears, and everything in between in the lives of Richard O'Sullivan and Sally Thomsett.

In 1977, NYC's t.v. channel 9, broadcast a weeks worth of British "sit-coms", that they named "Thames on Nine!"
This introduced America to the many, famous 1/2 hour comedies, that the British had enjoyed for years! American
audiences would now realize that, famous U.S. shows, e.g. "All in the Family", "Chico & the Man", "Sanford & Son", etc.
were direct "rip-offs", & the British "Man about the House!", into "Three's Company" plus others, would soon join their ranks!

I went to see a star studded pro-am golf tournament in the early 90's including many celebrities such as Tarbuck, Parkinson, Kojak, James Garner, Henry Cooper, etc. Most were signing autographs and chatting with the spectators with the notable exceptions of Fred Truman and Richard O'Sullivan who were both quite withdrawn and waved away any approach by the public. My impression of Richard at the time was 'what a miserable git.'
From what I have seen here it seems I misjudged him and wasn't seeing his true character but just a reflection of his inner demons. Sorry Richard.
