Seriously can't we accept the fact that if you live long enough you naturally look old! I think he looks great for a man his age.
Seriously, the channel owner must be dumb or something

@@paulyricca3881 800 ? Are you saying he looks almost as old as Genghis Khan ?
Nope gotta take the elixir
Not as old as Bidey The Pooper
He has lived a wonderful life. No one can stay young or stay handsome or beautiful forever. You live long enough, and you will age. How you've lived is far more important than how you looked.
He was the most beautiful man to ever have lived on this planet. We all age.
Everyone gets old but to me he'll always be handsome.
WELL SAID!!
How very true..
I waited on Robert Redford many years ago when i was in my 20's. He was so kind charming, polite, and a great tipper. Just a wonderful human being! God bless him!
Great to know that about Robert Redford. You were lucky to have met this wonderful man. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Robert Redford einer der besten aussehendesten Schauspieler Hollywoods...
Considering A very difficult childhood at best and growing up during the Depression, without a Father and no expression of love or hate, I think RR has been fortunate! How many of us will be alive at 90 years old? He is living a fortunate blessed life. Still married to 2nd wife In which they are exposed to living a Mega Hollywood Life is a blessing. Utah is their refuge. They have surrounded themselves with some or if not the most beautiful land of this country. No press or Fan followers to which travel is hard at best. Robert Redford seems to have experienced most if not all that one person can. I applaud him and Admire his movies and his looks to this day. Thank you for this Biography! Outstanding run fown!
No one fees sorry for him more then any other stranger.
He was a handsome man and an actor ...He is still ❤
Well.... He's an old man now and looks his age.
@@vaska1999 when YOU are lucky enough to get to 90 years of age, how do you think YOU will look in the mirror? Redford was an incredibly handsome man but beauty is only skin deep. The fact that he has survived so many hardships and lived a wonderful successful life is a marvellous achievement.

I fell in love with Redford after watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Saw most of his movies after that. What a life of tragedy. But resilience!!God bless him. Him and Clint Eastwood have lived a long time.
Yeah he definitely looks a lot better than Paul Newman now.

@@karlwithak. YOU have a right to your opinion!! But to me he was a great person and actor!!Or should I say is a great person!!
I love Redford. He is one of my absolute favorite movie stars.
Me too!
One of very very few actors I admire totally. He has so much talent aside from his dashing good looks & physique. For me, it's more about who he is. He's a man's man. Strong, resilient, intelligent, true to himself, honest, humble but nobody's fool. He commands respect without saying a word. His roles in the movies 'Property Condemned' and "The Way we Were" is i believe, how he is in real life. He will always be my favourite❤❤❤
If I were him I wouldn’t admit to being in anything with Jane Fonda after she got our boys tortured more when she went on her Vietnam tour. She should’ve been arrested for that!!
Before you condemn Jane Fonda you should listen to a truely horrific audio
book Kill Anything That Moves in which there are almost 9 hrs of accounts
of massacres of men, women & children by American forces in Vietnam.
There are thousands of american soldiers & officers who should have been
arrested & convicted for war crimes in Vietnam.@@MistySegraves-qx3le
Hi
I'm sorry to hear that Redford has had so much hardship in his life, but that may well be what made him such a good actor...
You People! I’m still waiting to learn what’s so ‘Sad’ about the way he lives. He’s gotten older and it’s showing. If you live that long, it’s bound to happen. For someone as handsome as he was in his prime, you’re going to notice it more. I mean no disrespect to Mr Newman, he was\is an excellent actor. But why do have try to sensationalize things? If you can’t come up with a decent story and “Lead-In”(or whatever you call it), I guess you have to rely on Sensationalism.
U r solot right on thanku for your comment
Mr Newman?
I'm sure lorraine made an honest mistake, after all, Paul Newman and Redford were in at least two great movies together. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" and "The Sting". I loved both. ❤❤ @@lorrainethomson8994

Getting old is a gift. I lost so many friends at young age but I’m still here almost 65. I’m so thankful.
I have always been a huge fan of Robert Redford, had such a crush on him! I wish him well and hope he has peace in all he continues to do.
He looks great for his age ❤
He looks great and is still physically agile and seemingly healthy. At 87 years old, he is still a very handsome man and has always had a talent for immersion into a character.

When does this go into effect
What a misleading title. How he lives now sounds fine to me.
Especially due to all the sadness. It’s disgustingly misleading clickbait with AI voice. The way some people make money and take advantage of the public is beyond ugly.
Well said.
A form of click bait, I suppose. Looks like it was successful. Oh heck, I'm here.
When you are talking about Robert Redford's relationship with Natlie Wood, you mention that a young Natallie Wood starred in "The Miracle on 34th Street". You show a movie poster or art from the film, but it's the wrong film. The film that Natalie starred in was the 1947 version starring Edmund Gwenn as Kris Kringle and Natalie Wood as Susan Walker, but you display the movie poster from the 1994 version starring Richard Attenborough as Kris Kringle and a 7-year-old Mara Wilson as Susan Walker. Not being nitpicky, just correcting a minor error. Otherwise, this is a great video about Redford! Thanks for putting it together and uploading it to RUclips.
Natalie Wood and Robert Redford were also in the movie “This Property Condemned” which is my favorite movie with Robert Redford. Natalie was 18 yrs or so.
I cannot see it!
Thank you for the subtle correction😊
Everything is wrong about this youtuber and the videos he shares 😡
Hello
He was so fortunate in many ways. Fame, fortune, good looks, etc. If you live long enough, a lot of misfortunes will naturally come your way. Most of us live quite tedious, uneventful, lives. No one can accuse him of this.
It's interesting, what one considers a "difficult life" while another who say otherwise. I'm 73 years old and I have had a life of good-fortune and relative ease despite being a terrible student in school and working at blue-collar jobs my whole life. I have had money problems but never to the point of hunger. And I have been healthy. Here's where my philosophy probably differs from that of Redford. I could have been born anywhere else, or at any other time in history and my life would have been a whole lot worse. I could have been born with a physical or cognitive disability, but I wasn't. I figure that when looking back at my life, I won the lottery. I'm luckier than 999 out of every 1000 people.
30 acre horse ranch, 7 grandkids, quiet and happy birthday parties in the Big House. Finally feels respected for who he is instead of how he looks. Family around, enough money to travel if he wishes, happily married. Many good memories and some sorrowful ones. Sounds awfully sad to me! Gosh, I hope your life is that "sad" at 87. :P
Well stated!!💖
All that and he kept his hair!
He graduated from high school in 1954, I graduated in 1953, and am 88 years old. A great man was Professor James Graaskamp, of U of WI, who also suffered from Polio
I made him laugh one time when he was in an elevator that I was in. I pretend that I didn’t know who he was, I’ll never forget it. Down to earth lovely man
Can you tell us more about the interaction?
@@issues9828 Way back when he first starred in the famous Broadway play, "Barefoot in the Park," some of my high school class went to see it. After it was over, as we were starting to get up to leave, Robert walked RIGHT past our row, turned and flashed that incredible smile of his right at us! Whoaaa! ALL the girls instantly fell in love! Most handsome man I've ever seen in person. :)
Wonderful person and great actor with great charm and talent. Love him. All my family loves him, especially my mother.
Geez.... what is a 90something human suppose to look like????? He still is remarkably handsome. It is more than a notion to survive all the pitfalls of life, wrinkles, warts, and all the rest are merit markers to be respected!
What's truly sad is obnoxious RUclips clips that zero in on the hardships of other people for clicks, likes, and subscribers. Robert is an amazing actor with an amazing career.
Robert Redford has a beautiful soul and no one nor any amount of time can take that away or tarnish that. He IS a beautiful man and I have admired him for many decades.
I, too, had polio. Back in the early 1950's. My case was fairly mild, leaving me with a scoliosis but my mom had it much worse. She spent nearly a year in an iron lung at County General Hospital in Los Angeles.
I grew up in Van Nuys - Sherman Oaks and graduated from Van Nuys High School in the Class of June, 1964. I had no idea Mr. Redford also went to my high school.
I also had no idea of all the hardships Mr. Redford and his family endured over the years. It is so heartbreaking to learn of this. No one should have to go through even a fraction of what he and his beautiful family have. So very sad. I can only hope that the remainder of his life is turmoil and heartbreak free.
So very glad I saw this video pop up in my suggestions here and watched it. 💙
Molly: He did NOT go to your HS.
You went to his HS.
As you know, you graduated from High School during an amazing time. Folk music, surf music, rock 'n roll, Beatles all happening at the same time. You were right there. Amazing.
@@jeffgarmon1 Yes, I was right there and it was an awesome time to be alive. I met so many interesting people during those years when I was 18 through about 22 years old. ☺
Robert Redford is nearly 90 - so he has a right to look wrinkled. If he has allowed himself to be directed by nature, that's a sign of growing old gracefully - and he is still quitessentially Robert Redford! Kudos to him!
He had to put up with the horrible Babs Streisand in "the Way We Were." He's earned those wrinkles.

He is what he is, a real man in and out of Hollywood. You should come up with a honest title, not for profit.
When I was in my teens, I watched “the way we were” and developed a crush for him which to this day (my 50’s), I still have a crush on him. ❤
I think he is amazing person, beautiful soul.
I really liked him in the Brubaker movie along with Rhinestone cowboy Ect

He is a legend, and we all get old! He managed to age gracefully! Love Robert Redford!
Good man, amazing actor!🙏
Robert Redford is a great man and actor!!!
And always will be!!!
Despite all the ups and downs in his life, Robert Redford played and reincarnated himself in an incredible number of different roles, memorable forever.
He is also the creator of Sundance, a festival of independent American cinema.
The main thing is what spiritual legacy a person leaves behind, not what his personal life is.
Redford is a man of exceptional class!!!
I don't know ROBERT well but what I have seen of HIM on SCREEN (Three Days of the Condor, The Sting) is sufficiently interesting to give him a STAR on Hollywood Boulevard. Thanks !

According to you 90 is always so sad. It could be celebrated as a victory.
Almost 90years we celebrate his life
I have always enjoyed Robert Redford throughout the years, for better or for worse. He continues to remain a legend. ✨💖✨
Why sad ? He lived a rich life full of experience, feelings, passion. He lives with a partner he wants, he has made a great name and tried the best for his family and friends. I find it great .
Yeah, but ghoulish people with time on their hands are more likely to click on a video that promises horrible tales of tragic loss, otherwise known as getting old.
I loved his movie 🎬 in the Great Gatsby ❤ a very intriguing actor 🎉
Growing up in the LA theater world, myself, I was adverse to star-crushing and the oh so obnoxious paparazzi groupie activity. Yet the handsome all-American youthful looks of Robert Redford gave me a little girl crush that lasted a lifetime. He was an impishly handsome and enormously talented actor from day one. Plus, I admired his downplay of looks and continuous seeking of a more healthy quality of life for himself and family. One thing this vlogger hasn't mentioned has been Redford's enormous contribution to the filming/acting/directing community with the establishment of his nonprofit Sundance Institute, enabling young and hopeful artists to learn and polish their craft.
Thanks for visiting The Uncovered Files Channel! I hope you enjoy the video!
You're welcome and yes I did💫
your channel is kind of really bad, but just because of all the inaccuracies, exaggerations and superfluous bs
@@GodIsInTheTv ... but aside from all that, it's also terrible. That AI narrator's voice, so monotonously serious, that's used on about a million other videos every day, is so boring it's bad; and that's before we get to the doom-laden script, which is even worse than the voice.
I had polio as a child. I had side effects .It was really a bad time for kiddies.
My cousin and 2 friends had polio. One came out ok. One still has problems but is in her 80’s, and the third was left in a wheel chair but an outstanding student. The Salk vaccine saved hundreds of thousands of us.

For his wonderful acting in The Sting alone he should be praised; such a cool movie and his rapport with Newman - absolutely sublime.

The first movie of him that I saw was Three Days of Condor. Excellent performance. Everyone would act exactly in that situation as he portrayed it. Beside being a great actor, he's a greater director, a lot of good movies. A favorite of mine A River Runs Through It. He's good and honorable human being.
In real life everyone would be dead "in that situation" of The Three Days of Condor. Just Hollywood.
I wish they had set it in DC, rather than NYC.. The story in the book is set in DC.
@@patriciayeiser6405 DC is too rural-dull for movie requirements. Very rare to be taken as filming location.

It is only sad if you are not 90. Depending on health, different lifestyle changes are difficult for someone else to determine.
I could hardly get past the "commercial" for clot shots (polio vaccine). Polio was obliterated by quarantine but bog pharma took the undeserved credit. And the misinformation about polio and polio shots to watch any further.
That is one hell of a lot of tragedy for one person to endure. Redford is resilient, intelligent, generous, kind, funny and down to earth. I have heard him say in an interview that the most important part of film making is story telling. He said that story tellers were numerous in his family, and he appreciated hearing their stories. Thank you, Robert Redford, for sharing your film stories with us. We are so much better for having experienced them.
Who photo shopped that frightening picture of R R.!???
Can't be that bad!
Yes, ridiculous. It's all for clicks.
The pictures of him looking real old and wrinkly could be AI photos. My guess is that if he was getting that bad looking, with him still being actively in the Hollywood scene, people would have noticed. I remembered that my favorite Robert Redford movie was The Natural.
Most likely AI...
The Natural, The Way We Were w/Barbra Streisand, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid, This Property Condenmed w/Natalie Wood, and a movie w/Jane Fonda (can’t remember the name of movie) about a young couple that rented an apartment on very top floor of five story building with no elevator!, The Horse Whisperer (w/a pretty blonde gal when she was very young - can’t remember her name ) and he directed and narrated that great Brad Pitt movie A River Runs Through It are some of his movies I loved.
Scarlett Johansson
Robert Redford was not in the movie Miracle on 34th Street w/Natalie Wood as a 8 yr old child. Btw the gal in the Horse Whisperer was Scarlett Johansson. Also a little unimportant fact to me about Robert is when he was young and good looking, he had very bad skin. The movie producers were able to cover it up.
And movie in was in with Jane Fonda was Barefoot In The Park.
Poor guy, lives on 6000 acre ranch with his wife. I feel really sorry for him. No one has a "perfect life". Actually, he has done so much charity work and done so much good during his life, that's what people should know and which you forgot to mention at all. A successful life is the best we can hope for and I think RR is accomplishing that...
A life full of tragedy? OMG, this is so nothing compared to what I and most of the people I've ever known have had to deal with.
He looks pretty healthy for a man in his late 80s.
That hair is unbeatable ever. He used to be so so handsome. And I like his relationships have been very stable in spite of being such a star.
I saw him up close in person once -- whoa, that incredible hair and he flashed a smile that made you INSTANTLY FALL IN LOVE, lol!! Absolutely gorgeous dude!
I applauded him for all he has given us in entertainment. Way to go Robert!!! You are amazing. Stay well & keep smiling!!
I think Robert Redford is amazing....at anything he undertakes. I love him....
Forever.......
His tragic childhood? Give me a break.
His life was super successful.
I've grown old with Robert Redford
I first saw Him in " This Property Condamed " I've seen all his movies maybe 4, 5 times...
The title is so ridiculous! ROBERT REDFORD is living a good life I believe - nothing is sad about him. He is in the middle of his eighties and what the hell? Can he not enjoy his retirement from acting and living a quiet life now on his Utah Ranch with his family?
What is sad about that? He is one if the actors who was never hiding behind his age - he was always very authentic! I think with 82 he gave an interview where je was saying no it's time to stop acting because he is getting older - and it's o.k.! He has all my respect for this decision! He will not sit around and is doing nothing. I believe he is still very active with his Sundance Company and maybe movie directing etc. but just not in the active acting buisness anymore and that's o.k.
Leave such a great actor alone and let him enjoy privacy! He has given enough to the world in his acting career and he has exposed himself so much so now it's the time to let him be on his own! Every now and then we will hear and see something about him - maybe or maybe not and that should be fine for everyone when someone is slowly moving out of the public eye!!!
He is not dead
The time is terrible. Today with 71 years old, my world is gone 💀
You've done well reaching 71. God bless you.
