You got me - definitely didn’t do enough product research - and I picked a niche that seemed amazing, but wasn’t really a top interest for me… July marks a pivot for me - following the 100k plan. Working on product research and development now
Really strange... i got a product with demand and was getting 5-10 sales per day for almost 2 months each day... i starterd really good with all you teach but now i got in to the suck phase after 3 months.... sales went from 5-10 per day and now im in 1 each per 2-3 days... what happen what is wrong with Etsy??? really good customers reviews with the ad strategy but now something is wrong on the way... any advise or idea of what is happening.???
OMG you say what exactly feels I try everything slash my princess use alura tools to improve SEO and no clicks maybe because I'm not in USA just shop bade in London but is POD but I don't give up
The problem with my shop is that I am creating a new niche that doesn't exist yet! It exists in Japan but not in the rest of the world! I am importing products from Japan! The first sushi restaurant in USA should have sucked as well as americans didn't know what sushi was and I supposed someone should invite them to try and bit by bit they liked It and consume more and more. I am an innovator in that sense and It is big risky but I believe in the idea!
How do I talk to a real person at Etsy regarding my sellers account getting hacked? At least i think that’s what happening. Today I have received approximately 30 orders when i typically receive 5-10 a day. The orders are from repeat customers. This has happened to 4 different customers and each customer has made 4-14 separate orders each. I have never gotten bulk orders like this. I was able to get a response from one customer and they said they definitely did not make the orders. They are contacting Etsy. That was this morning but now it’s starting to happen again with additional repeat customers. I can’t tell if my account is hacked or my customer’s but i find it odd that it’s all repeat customers. Do you have any advice for me?
It seems like a lot of Etsy is flea market garbage. People on the site just to flip whatever junk. Originally it was a craft site, where it was an outlet for people with actual businesses
Please understand that any business cannot stay the same forever. I owned my own website and today my designs are way too different from the year I started. 10 years ago the dressing code of most people is different. Before we love those Grammy t-shirts but today everyone goes for the crop top t-shirt. So Etsy cannot be any different if they don't allow new product types, and designs or new selling methods, they will not make any profit. After COVID few people are still buying handmade, because the economy is so bad that people cannot afford a hand made tote bag that cost 40usd while they can buy a pod tote bag that costs 15 USD. And of course it is winning when there is more sales.
You might as well look for a new platform for the rest of my breathing days I'll be telling everyone not to shop there. You think they're horrible for you there terrible to customers as well
I got my first Etsy sale last week!🎉. Baby steps.
Congratulations!!!!!
Thank you so much again! :) Amazing videos
Glad you like them!

That's OK. It's all about learning from what we've done. You've got this 🙌
This is especially true based on time of year..I.e. starting up in May, June, July (slowest time of year)

As new sellers you don't know which product will sell. So putting mug, candle, and blanket in the same shop, is it bad?
Field of dreams. "Build it and they will come".
Only if they are already looking for it😆

Etsy sucks big time. However, I'm still there.
Work harder if you want to succeed

I know...been at it seriously for about 18 months now with 36 sales. It's a slow slog.
Etsy sucks and charges us for letting them suck. I’m looking for. New platform.
