    Will u guys do a Prius video? Like everything I would need to know to work on my own Prius? I’d really appreciate it, my car is how I make my money and I can’t afford to take it to a repair man. I’m handy I just don’t have the knowledge of this specific car.

    I get what you do with the wire and epoxy resin etc.
    But I am surprised that the first step is not glueing the broken lug to the lamp.
    You could glue it and then solder / melt it too, or just glue it. Would be stronger than melting it , no?

    Hi
    Can anyone tell me if I can use any soldering iron to do this or is there a specific one for plastic welding ?
    Thank you

    • @TangoCharlieAlpha
      @TangoCharlieAlpha 4 года назад

      You can use a regular soldering iron for the repair he showed. They do make an actual plastic welding repair kit, which has the iron and special plastic rods for the exact type of plastic you are repairing. But they are not cheap at all. The other option is to use small pieces of the exact kind of plastic and melt that with a soldering iron. That would be a good alternative if you don't have epoxy.

    if you spray some colour in the glue mix it will extend processing time by some minutes and you will have your glue in colour as well.
    Question: whats the name of your background music please?

    I know a carmechanic, he just drill a hole in the headlight and fasten it with screw. Now the headlight only get water inside.
