Dear Redd Arremer, thank you for your work. I have added dozens and dozens of games to my want list thanks to you. Would you please explain how you got such high video quality on the footage of these games?
Anyone remember a Japan only rhythm game involving cat/dog people in a bar? I remember X-Play doing a review of the game and the mystery of what that game was is driving me crazy! The games' story involves a love triangle. A scrawny teenage cat/dog person and a buff, rock n' roll type cat/dog person are trying to win the affections of some girl that works at or frequents the bar/nightclub/whatever where the game takes place. Dancing ensues. I'm almost positive that it was a PS2 game, and that it was reviewed on X-Play. I just want to know what the hell that game was, and where I can find X-Play's review of it, assuming X-Play reviewed it...Maybe I just saw a trailer/gameplay footage for it on an episode of Cinematech...
I'd like to say that the Gamecube/PS2 era was my last favorite gaming time. I do own a PS3 and Wii U, but no counting the Nintendo games (which are always top quality) I'm not favorable of how gaming is with these last two gens (PS3/PS4). The games seem tired, uninspired, and shotty. Of course there's also the awful dlc packs and then the pre-order nonsense, and lastly the rushed releases that don't even work properly.
To me this was the best generation, The Clash of Four Titans, Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and Sega with their respectives awesome machines, Game Cube, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Dreamcast, A bunch of legendary games from each them. What a sick and magic era.
agreed. psx had a lot of quirky, weird titles, and ps2 too, but since the start of the ps3\x360 era, they just stopped doing these kind of games, which is shame as all games nowadays looks the same
By far the best game is Tearring Saga Berwick Saga. There is an English translation which is very good. The game is probably the best of its entire genre and a top title of the console.
+CutiePie RUclipsr! Click on the little gear on the bottom right. You'll see an option that says "annotations". Click on that. If you see a check next to that option afterwards, that means the annotations are on. Annotations aren't available if you're using RUclips on mobile.
+CutiePie RUclipsr! Your problem likely stems from the fact that you are using a mobile device. RUclips annotations indeed do not work on Android and iOS, at least normally. No idea whether there's a way to get them to appear.

Probably parappa the rapper 1 or 2? the 2nd game is for PS2.
@@danl9621 Ah, it turned out to be Dog of Bay!
You forgot Panzer Dragoon PS2 version.
for any other fans, mad maestro 2 (let's bravo music) apparently is japanese text but entirely english dubbed. weird, right?
What a sick and magic era.
agreed. psx had a lot of quirky, weird titles, and ps2 too, but since the start of the ps3\x360 era, they just stopped doing these kind of games, which is shame as all games nowadays looks the same
Didn't Let's Bravo Music get an american release as Mad Maestro?

By far the best game is Tearring Saga Berwick Saga. There is an English translation which is very good. The game is probably the best of its entire genre and a top title of the console.

Can you make the part 2?
It's about the time travel for the PS2!
The uploader should have put the titles of each game being showed on the video.
+CutiePie RUclipsr! They did. They're in the annotations.
ssjfan225
Where can I find the annotations?
+CutiePie RUclipsr! Click on the little gear on the bottom right. You'll see an option that says "annotations". Click on that. If you see a check next to that option afterwards, that means the annotations are on. Annotations aren't available if you're using RUclips on mobile.
ssjfan225 - there is no anotations for this video!
+CutiePie RUclipsr! Your problem likely stems from the fact that you are using a mobile device. RUclips annotations indeed do not work on Android and iOS, at least normally. No idea whether there's a way to get them to appear.
japan games could make a come back if they give you the full game and none of that "dlc" bullshit....cos come on they make awesome games :)
