Remove the bolt at the back of each seat rail, push gently on the seat back and put a 3/4" block under each rail. Now with the back of the seat raised even half an inch it is much much easier to pull the battery out when the seat isn't blocking the way. I plan to put a duct tape handle on the new battery so I can lift it out more easily next time.

hi, thanks for the video. i know that this batteries has 2 ventilations inlets but i never see when connects the second ventilation on the positive site of the battery, isn´t necessary or what?

Does this car have secondary battery like ML you’re to have it?
It’s usually in the truck on the pass side if it’s applicable.
How do you pull the set fwd if battery dead
Use a booster box or jumper cables under the hood
Car dead, is there any way to push the seat up with out charge?
Use a booster box or cables from another car to the pins under the hood and that will give you power to move the seat.
my key won’t turn after i replaced the battery. i’ve tried resetting fuses and everything i can possibly find on the internet. the fobs battery is good because the light flashes on it and everything. did i miss a step before disconnecting? what can i do

How do you move the seat forward if the battery is dead?
If I'm not mistaken there should be "jumper" post under the hood, just supply it with 12V. I seen it in another video. I'm just researching before thinking about buying a used GL450.
Thanks.@@thenotoriousrvh6091 I ended up tying an extension cord around the battery to get leverage for pulling it out from under the seat. The angle is difficult to pull the battery out. It was a painful process, but I got it to work.
My car can't start easily. I have to disconnect the battery and reinstall it, then move the ignition switch
