This is some of what has been completed so far. Monty is too busy with other projects like RvB to work on DF, so please be patient.
I know I can't wait to see it. x)
For those who would like to see Rikku and Machina Maw when they appear follow this link • Video and start at 4:12 where you'll see Cloud and Squall talking. Rikku appears after that with Machina Maw.

lol love the crowd reaction when Vincent comes out! its a tall order but i hope someone finishes Monty's work.
Kairi starts taking clothes off for a magical girl transformation. Hayabusa stops his friend from interferring. He wants to watch.
Maybe someone someday will complete the series in honor of Monty... I hope.

+Eddie Givens, Jr. Hope your coming at it from a neutral perspective that was the great thing about Monty he loved both Dead or alive and final fantasy, i see way to many FF Kiddies refusing to accept DOA chars being able to stand up to FF chars, but really Ryu Hayabusa alone could easily match Cloud or Sephiroth (doesnt any 1 know of ninja gaiden any more =( ) and it's also obvious the FF chars are superior when they are part of a team, but 1v1 i'd say the DOA chars have the advantage
Would just be a shame to see some 1 try to complete this in monty's honor and not do it justice by making it one sided
Man, I wish Monty was still with us to continue the series… I’ve rewatched these at least once every other year just to reminisce the chills and awe.
It’s also very interesting to see what Monty envisioned for Kairi as opposed to what became of her in the eyes of Nomura.
I deeply appreciate both of their work so much.
DAMN! Kairi jumps off a building, turns into Namine and then Namine kicks some ass just to top it off she pulls out Vincent.....That was just bad ass!!!!!!
Man I remember watching Dead Fantasy IV when everybody went nuts for Cloud but man! All the ladies in the building just, went, crazy for Vincent... He was always a bad boy for the ladies though haha. I guess they wanted him to be their valentine ;)

@EXruin that's the best part of DF. Monty uses random moves from random games to make the fight more interesting and more appealing to watch.

Really? I think thats up to interpretation. One could argue that the Nobody's "owner" of sorts is the one whose body it originates from or the heart it originates from...
But if thats what you believe I'm cool with it. I'm so freaking happy that Monty decided to include more of the cast of KH.
I love these live-from-con videos just for the fan reactions. There's nothing quite like being at a live concert, film premier, or that sort of thing, but since we can't all make it there then this is the next best thing. Just something about watching it with other fans that makes it so much more exciting.
Also, how has Monty NOT been hired by any game developers yet? I love his RvB work, and I'm definitely glad to see him working on that and Dead Fantasy, but just...how?
Guys...Lets all not rage over who is stronger or weaker. This is fan-made. Nothing's official. Let's just enjoy the fights and the characters who appear. If the character you are rootin for loses, don't let it get to you.
Kairi becoming Namine was just like HOLY SHIT she went there!!! That summon method Namine used with that red stuff on the ground looked a bit scary! Vincent FTW :)
@VenathTehN3RD He was actually asked to work on Transformers 2 or 3 but he still didn't know how to use the program that he is now using for RvB, and he wouldn't be able to finish it by the time given. Roosterteeth on the other hand told him to take his time getting used to the equipment. He is the only one working on the RvB graphics and movement, so you could say it's a one man project, some of it anyway. :)
Kairi/Namine just earned some MAJOR cool points from me ^_^

All the the little fanboy screams made it epic x3 the best part though was the end when Rikku was using her ultimate move from FFX-2 and everyone was like "oh... shit o.o" lmao.

@LovenVincent Kairi can't have a Nobody since she is a Princess of Heart. She has no darkness so she can't create a Heartless, and by extension, a Nobody. Kairi was created when Sora had Kairi's heart in him when he unlocked his own heart to free hers. Roxas and Namine were created at that time, with Roxas as Sora's true Nobody (because he became a Heartless) and Namine was formed when Kairi's heart left Sora's body. So she's technically more like Sora's other Nobody formed from Kairi's heart.
Monty's girls really have unique ways of walking and standing...
He's watching Final Fantasy 13 on youtube. Not sure about 13-2. So he somehow made time for himself, just not enough time to actually play the game. So we may see Lightning, or rather his interpretation of Lightning, which will likely be underpowered as hell.

@CrazyKaneFighter Yuna and Tifa still uses there original move. Like the move tifa uses in kicking ayane upwards, her move when she slap kasumi on the walls of the building. her punching moves when she fought hitomi and etc. Yuna also uses her own move. Like the way she fight kasumi with kicks. and etc. On the other hand, you are not so sure if that gundam is summoned by rikku. Did u see the ayane and riku preview scene? Rikku actually defeated ayane by using her slash not by a gundam.
@LovenVincent I read the KH wiki and you're right, they do say she is her Nobody. I'm just going by what you find out in the game about how Nobodies are born, making Namine as Kairi's Nobody a technicality. I don't blame you, I blame Square Enix's kudzu plot that makes up the KH saga. Still love the games regardless though :)

@007Cloud well then, think of it this way: by using light elegant dancing movements, Namine's using little effort to fight right now (just like Momiji, as i'm quite sure what we just saw isn't her best by a long shot)
neither is trying very hard... that's gotta count for something

I actually prefer these versions more than the standard ones. The crowd's reactions are insane.

It looks like it plus u see the blue things standing on too if it which are rikku' legs like in FF X-2 and i have my own thoughts on the big thing at the end i believe that's machina maw when rikku upgrades it.but I'm positive that the first thing is machina maw!

All I can say is that, you guys have to remember that this is basically fanmade. It's made because the person wants to, and enjoys making it.

Yes, seeing it and playing it are two completely different things. However, you can actually find out more about the game by watching and researching than by actually playing. FF13 is a very cinematic experience and you can actually enjoy it more by watching it. I've never played it, but sometimes I find that I know more about it than the people who have played it. Some people still don't even know about the game's Episode 0 and Episode i, or about the paradigm trick you can use in battle.
Seeing it on RUclips and actually playing it are two different things. I suppose that's the best we can hope for though, even if the interpretations would be off. Hopefully he uses Maaya Sakamoto's voice from most fighting games, like Ryougi Shiki from Melty Blood Actress Again, since Maaya is Light's seiyuu.

@RODIFIRE RVB= red vs Blue its a Halo machinima and Monty (creater of Dead Fantasy) has been doing all the CGI/Animimated scenes on the show recently
@BradleyMcCloud the moves may be similar, but until a character from Evangelion appears (or anything else), it's still a crossover between what's already shown up
and also, he's already slipped in moves from other sources already, if you look closely
He will not do Lightning because he hasn't played 13 or 13-2 because "he doesn't have enough time", yet he has time to play Ninja Gaiden and DoA.
I was enjoying this very much,but then i saw Vincent and i was like "=O............shit just got real" would love to see Vincent in a fight using his gunplay.

@AngelHikara I think that would be the best time to have Helena show off her skills cause the two of them are like nsynce with each other in DOA4
@hokamil The main difference being that Ninja Gaiden IS part of the DoA universe. The series takes place before the first DoA tournament. They may not be in Dead or Alive, but Rachel and Momiji are still part of the overall DoA storyline. Kingdom Hearts, on the other hand, has no relationship to any of the Final Fantasy game canons.
@hokamil I would love to see even a brief cameo by Nicole or one of the SPARTAN crew. Doubt he'll do it though.

dead fantasy is too awesome! Monty oum somehow makes each episode 2000 times better than the last. sadly some folks/fans still wanna criticize just cause kingdom hearts is mixed in with final fantasy, smh. great upload by the way :)
@CrazyKaneFighter He has 4, 2 of which are in DoC. Also, lol @ him not being able to use Chaos anymore. You act as though DF takes place in any of the canon timelines. That said, no, his gun doesn't fire more quickly than his laser. Pretty much everything we do with Chaos Vincent is slowed down for the sake of the player, since it'd be hard to play as someone who disappears from view every time you move (Something CV and Weiss are seen doing repeatedly). Also known as Bullet-Timing.
