He gave me my shots of growth hormone every night, took me to cub scout meetings, played Mario Kart 64 with me, etc. While I have a good relationship with him, he's more like a cool uncle to me and can give me advice, mostly involving my luchador career of sorts.

Yeah, to me, that’s too young to have kids. Most of the people I know and work with at that age are still very much like big goofy teenagers, as they should be. They’re still VERY young, even if they’re physically adults. People have to realize that not every 20 something year old can support a family, have a home. Most of them cannot do that. Nowadays it’s not normal. It’s more expensive than it’s ever been and people should definitely wait or risk putting their new family at risk.

My girlfriend of three years broke up with me in March. I share your pain brother. I’m still healing from what I went through. Your fans have your back no matter what.
@matthew, Hang in there Brother. It's a very tough situation when a relationship ends. Try to be with friends if you can. You won't forget, and it can be hard to move on. Possibly after some healing you will be better. There are counseling services, even free ones. Don't " bottle" it up. Talk to a trusted person, maybe clergy at a church. It can help. Be careful who you tell. Sometimes people will put your troubles out there for everyone to see. Not a good thing. Some things that happened you will have to work out on your own. Keep looking forward. All the best and may God bless.
I am so sorry. My boyfriend left me at the end of May, we were together for five and a half years and spent almost a year traveling through South America. I didn't see it coming at all, we were doing great, lot of love, trust, communication, intimacy....and then just one day he told me he didn't love me anymore and left and I stayed in Peru alone and have been traveling alone since. It was tough but very transformative. Wishing you all the best.

Thank YOU, Gabriel, as a Dad I know exactly where you're coming from. For you to come out and spill you and Fankies feelings on that subject. That took huevos. I'm older now and have had my sons tell me. Gezz Dad my son is doing stuff that feels like payback for all that I put you through. I get it now. We just do the best with what we know. I'm glad to see you're still able to continue on with comedy as well as to keep Franky in your life and that you did so well that even now he calls you dad
Is actually cool to him actually addressing tbe stop of his family jokes on stage instead of an interview. He want to make sure the audience know the change and he wanna make sure is done where the audience will be officially there to listen
even IF you have problems with your kid's other parent you don't bring it up around the kid and if he ever said anything bad about frankie's mom it would get back to him. that's good parenting right there
This hits really close to home; last night my wife of almost 7 years (6 years and 11 months) asked for a divorce. Everybody wants to be with a golden lab personality, someone who makes the jokes and tries to make every moment possible a happy moment until you no longer want to be with them and the things you found endearing turn into qualities that drive you nuts. I feel for Fluffy. My adult stepson lives at home with us, too, will probably never be able to live on his own, and is autistic. I love his mom, she doesn't feel the same way anymore, and I love him; more than likely later today we will get ice cream and have a talk.

Sad that the relationship had to end. On the flip side, that he respects the relationship to such a degree to not poke fun is great. Hopefully, it's working both ways.
Shame is one of the best ways to teach children, and I'll never apologize for shaming someone who does the wrong thing out of ignorance or malice. The ignorant will learn. The malicious will hide or attack. Shaming is far superior to yelling at or beating someone for the things they do wrong.
Shaming is necessary evil and we are seeing clearly what happens when we stop shaming bad behaviour whether it something minor like don’t smell or major like beating someone

Fact: Almost 3/4s of the boys I've helped raise all went through a stinky pit phase lol (some girls too, hahaha). I'm sure kids teased you for being ousted like that. Sorry that it hurt your feelings and made things tough for you.
We really loved the stories about you though - made us feel part of your life kind of in the least creepy way possible lol.
We wish you all the best in the world Frankie!! ❤😘🥰
Thanks for being a Dad, Gabriel. ❤
We ALL loved Frankie and the stories about him. Just normal kid stuff, but I get, THAT is not how Frankie felt.
Abso-freakin-lutely
Big respect to you for that show of respect. All the best to Frankie!
Honestly fluffy. I think you did great being a dad.
And when it comes to your comedy, stand up. You keep things real and keep them truthful And there's nothing wrong with that. That is just awesome altogether. Which I love you and respect you for that Fluffy. I hope you never change fluffy And we all love you for a week as well for it.😎👍🏻💯💯💯💯
It is fun to hear the interactions with Frankie. He is a very positive person to you and him to you. It is good for us to hear how proud you are with him and there is laughter for all. I hope you will be able to come to a middle ground. 😢
@@sisiq_no disrespect meant at all but they way you wrote "and then i was left in peru" is so fucking cool
Mathew; you didn't want to get married, but have all the pleasures of married life? Women will leave. No reason to stay.
May you heal and prosper, Bro. It gets better and the lesson remains.
I'm sorry that you're not with his mom anymore. Fourteen years is a lot of memories. I'm glad you still have a loving relationship with Frankie. That's totally cool.
We all know that you have many events in your life from which to draw your humor for routines. You'll be just as funny. Life iscit's own humor. Thanks Fluffy.
Gabriel was used as a classic beta provider, that's all.
@@acron21k How about he used her for 14 years, to have a home? Someone who cooked for him? Was a housekeeper, support person? Had sex with her, yet never wanted to marry her? That is so humiliating for a woman! Provide all the wifey comforts.....no marriage.
@@littleme3597Did he force her to stay all those years???
@@littleme3597 Not all women want to be married. Believe me (and I am married but I had a longtime when Ihad no desire to be married.)
@@littleme3597 You don't try to make yourself an active part of a child's life if you are just "using her" ; especially when the kid isn't related to you.
We love you, Gabriel, keep doing what you do. Keep being who you are, we respect? You stand behind your family and we're going to support you and what you're going through. Along with your family.
This is amazing of Gabriel to do to explain not us everyone who watch’s him and good for him for talking to Frankie and being a real man and not talking about his wife ❤️💯💯🤙🏾
"I need to make sure she continues to support me being his dad"
That's the strongest sentence I heard all week. That's family 🧡
Fluffy: "I gotta explain to the audience that you didn't die."
Also Fluffy: "I'ma title the video in such a way to make it sound like he left or died."
Good job, Gabe. 😂
Franky if you read this i wanna let you know from all of your fans that we all appreciate you and we understand and we are always be supportive of your decision and we all hope you have an amazing future moving forward
That is so sweet. I’m so grateful that you can be a role model for a lot of dads
Partners can be seasonal but kids are forever.
We all love you frankie because we got to know you through your dads jokes.
You and your mom will always stay in our hearts because we'll always think of you when we watch your dad
Had me scared for a minute there ngl. I was all ready with a tissue...Frankieeeeeeee.
He's fine, he's fine. Whew.
Bravo. You are a class act, Gabriel. God bless all of you!!
3:03 He said I had to sign a non disclosure agreement stating "he will not say anything bad about his ex wife or girlfriend" I don't think he ever got married but it's still hilarious
Split ups are never fun but especially not fun for any kids involved. I'm glad that you still have a connection with your son after the breakup and it's cool that she isn't trying to keep you from your son. No matter how things turned out between the two of you she chose a good man to become a dad for her son and no one can take that away from you.
Gabriel..you're amazing. You Love Frankie & his Mom. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We adults can tell you love Frankie. You've tried to teach him some values that will stick with him. Good job!!!
I respected you before, but I doubly respect you now. If more Men could be like you, the world would be a much better place.
Was there for this! Really wonderful seeing him live, and on top of that I was able to see how great of a man he is live as well! Kudos to you Gabriel, really proud how you are moving forward with your career after said conversation with Franky.
Big props..... love isn't just how you feel it's also how you act and how you treat someone...
I remember we saw him in San Antonio Alamodome and he had said that story when it just happened, the serration, a few months before “covid” hit the states. Everyone was asking him questions and if he was really ok, we got you, you could se him holding back who wouldn’t that’s a long time. But he smiled and thanked everyone for the support like family.
We love you Frankie!
Fluffy is a great man! All of his comedy makes me belly laugh so hard unless he's being very serious and then I cry. Fluffy, you have helped me with my ups and downs in my life. I believe that you are an inspiration and amazing at what type of power you have, and that is, you make people laugh so hard, you make me smile and laugh as well forget my issues I am or might be dealing with at the moment. Please know that I don't watch you when I am feeling down, i watch ALL the time ! Love ya Bro ! Thank you so much for ALL you do
This man right here with all his flaws always brings it home, dude you are the real keep up that great spine, there are not many like you brother!
Gabriel thank you for bringing laughter into our lives. I also think it is awesome that although you and Frankie's mom are divorced that you are not bashing her! I wish more divorced people would move forward in a positive approach. Frankie calling you Dad speaks volumes!
Its goes to show that Gabriel is the " Most loving DAD ever !!
He is the happiest family man !! 💙💙🩷!!
You nailed that one. Also, the respect with the X is a good thing. It so easy to be a bozo filled with stress that's so unhealthy for anyone you care for. Now or later. You keep on doing what do best. CHEERS
See, that's a classy way to go about a subject like this. Well done on Fluffy's part, but also to Frankie for bringing up what appeared to be a really tough subject. Handled as it should have been handled.
Any fool can be a father, but it takes a real man to be a dad. Mad respect, Mr. Iglesias.
I will miss Frankie so much! Tell him he is a great person!
Wow, it is just so refreshing to hear a comedian say he loves his son and family when usually they are the brunt of a joke.
Hurt my heart a bit hearing about the desolution of your marriage since I've been through divorce. I don't know your circumstances but for me I always thought it'll never happen to me, not realizing that that's not only my decision. I was devastated by her decision and honestly it broke me and I'm not the same person I was before. I'm glad to see you're still able to continue on with comedy as well as to keep Franky in your life and that you did so well that even now he calls you dad
Should invite Frankie on stage and let him tell a Fluffy joke 😂
Thought he was gonna say, 'I might not but Maaartiiiin...'
It's a repeat 🔁 but I'm still laughing 😂 hope Frankie is ok ❤
We LOVE you Frankie! Be well, be happy! You are so fucking strong, brother.
A very thoughtful, loving reply to your Son
Any man can be a sperm donor but a real man steps up and takes care of his family no matter the difference or difficulties
Hey Gabriel!👋
For all You do, This Hugs for YOU!🥰
You're a Good Human, Being!😇
Thanks for taking us along for the ride!👍
Luv ya man!
Mike in San Diego.🌞🎸🚀🖖
Sad that the relationship had to end. On the flip side, that he respects the relationship to such a degree to not poke fun is great. Hopefully, it's working both ways.
Gabriel is a good father to Frankie he is always to be a good dad.
❤❤ respect, respect, respect I'm glad that you his mom and Frankie are still good. And Frankie Is a part of your life and he calls you dad.❤❤
I gotta say I've always loved how you deal with people. The level of respect and kindness you give, the fact that you observe and really listen to people. Dude, do you ever just have enough and can't do it anymore😂! But seriously, I'm 65 and this so touched me, as do all the things you share with us! I know you are named after an angel but I think at some point the Vatican is going to have to consider you for sainthood 😂❤ Thanks for showing us life through your eyes! Kindness through comedy. I try to laugh with you everyday! Thank you!!!❤
Love the description on this video. Shows that it's not someone just uploading these videos for you and that you put alot of thought and care into what you post online. You've been my favorite comedian for years and that will never change
Gabriel, you take after your namesake in that you are an ANGEL.
You are like, the most amazing parental figure in entertainment right now.
Dude we know you love him by the fact that you would make fun in your shoes snd as well as that goes it made us all fall in love with him too!! I am sorry it made him feel bad but truth be told... My dad made fun of me as well its all fun and love but true it is also making people feel bad sometimes truly sorry I feel bad for laughing at the jokes. Dearest Frankie I got to know you and love you through all that. I can tell you are a wonderful man by the way you were portrayed.
Love your comedy Gabriel!
ngl, the "frankie died" rumors started long before this.
But I'm also so glad Frankie was the one to ask you to stop. Years back, I loved the stories about him but I also came to realize it'd really suck being the butt of the joke at his age. You're a real one, Gabriel, and a damn good dad.
Respect you so much ! Always support you Fluffy !! Surround you with love and good energy ! HUGS
S beautiful you are a true man sir fluffy you helped raise a son that wasn't yours and are proving you meant it by claiming him thru the separation. It reminds me of the country song "he didn't have to be". I also think being able to bring more awareness to the option of befriending your ex especially when kids are involved
I didn't know what i would see when I clicked here- You're a good dad, Gabriel- God bless
That's a model for how men should be. I just gained a whole new level of respect for this guy!
The man's got the same energy as the late great Robin Williams and that's why I'm a fan.
I'm glad Frankie has a father who respects his boundaries, it is so so SO important and there are so many parents out there who don't respect their children's boundaries.
A Real Man right there.
We love frankie and we love hearing about him
I'm so sorry your relationship has ended but it seems you still have all the respect for all involved. You are a great Dad!!
I'm glad Gabriel let Frankie know he loves him that's a good Father right there, however he should've also let Frankie know that we all love him too 😊 and that if it weren't for those great stories about him we as fans of his dad wouldn't of got to see him grow up to the man he is today ... it's not him we laugh at it's the stories that we find hilarious cause a lot of us can relate to 😊 whether it be other parents or kids his age giving their parents the same hard time... There was never any intention to make him feel picked on I hope he can understand that .
I love that you and your son can talk ❤
I just love how fluffy considers Frankie as his own son and how he respects Frankie's mom. Very few men like him. My respects!!!
You are a gentleman Gabriel and a man with integrity.
Mad respect!! Anyone can be a father but it takes guts to be a dad! ✨✌🏼✨
One of the most wholesome beings on this planet
Their relationship is just adorable, and I'm all the way here for it
You’re not just Fluffy…you’re strong and a wonderful excuse for a man!! Love YOU Fluffy…stay strong, you rule and you’re a true STAR 💫
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😘
i've been with mine for 44 years. even with the rough spots we've had, she's been the One i couldn't live without. you have my sympathies, for not keeping it together. i hope you find one you decide to live the rest of your life with. you need it and deserve it.
"Well why is that important?" "Cause if I dont and stop talking about you people will think you died" Yeah thats pretty spot on cause with the video title and the beginning when he was talking about it I thought it was aomething life threatening. Very funny bit and mad props to you Gabriel for being respectful to him and his mom
Gabriel is the best father in the world. This man is a man. This man is awesome.
