Excellent tutorial, Rosa María: clear, simple, patient ....Thank you and congrats!! I made it in a patchwork top fabric done by myself for my sister´s tango shoes !!!!!
So happy I found your tutorial it was great! I like your process and the fact this bag is lined. Thank-you for taking us step by step and actually not only talking but explaining the process clearly and simply. Planning to make a few for family and friends who travel. Can't wait!!
love it... you were very easy to follow.i aded a zipper pocket on the inside for keys. Mine turned out a bit small. Tomorrow im going to make another one an inch or so bigger. My husband loved it so much he wants me to make him one for his golf shoes. i have to make them 18 inches i bet.. it did get tricking at the end with the folding part, but i got it...
❤I loved this tutorial. When I first saw it I immediately thought it was beyond my beginning skills. Watching you and “kitty, I am confident I can do it along with you. You didn’t talk unnecessarily. You talked us through step by step. Very patiently showed every step which I appreciated because I am a visual learner. Wow , you have another student and follower which is me. Thank you again.
Enjoyed your tutorial so much!! My in-laws travel all the time and will be coming in a few weeks for a visit. I will be making a few of these for them!! Loved!! New sub for sure!!
Fantastic that you would even consider a tutorial featuring a garment bag. Thank you so much. I’ll keep my eyes open. I subscribed yesterday and requested all notifications. So I will wait in anticipation. By the way I have the perfect fabric already to make a set. Yea!🎉🎉🎉
This is such a great tutorial for a beginner. I loved how detailed it was and very easy to follow along. I can't wait to try it. I would like to know at what point I could embroider something on it, like a monogram. I'll have to do some trial and error. Thanks again!
I really found you to be a very good instructor. I am a new sub. I even have you at 2X speed and have an easy time following you. I am going to try to make these shoe bags. How many of these can you make in an hour? Have you ever considered buying continues zipper strips and buy the pulls? I watched a lady from Australia, and I am sure that it has to have saved her money on the cost of zippers. I think her you tube channel Christine's Home Affairs. Thanks for sharing, and Hi from Michigan
Forgive my ignorance because I'm new to sewing but do you lay the lining right side up when you then place zipper next and finally main fabric right side down?
You are such a detailed and patient educator. I have made three of these. Thank you.
Very well done video - thank you for the detail and doing it slowly and clearly!

Forgive my ignorance because I'm new to sewing but do you lay the lining right side up when you then place zipper next and finally main fabric right side down?
no worries, yes, lay the lining right side up, next place the zipper and then make sure you have the printed side of the fabric side facing down.
Could you clip the corners before turning?
yes, once you finished sewing.

What size shoes fit in this bag please. My daughter wears an 8 1/2
