Though not a lot goes on, the tone here makes me feel the saddest going on this quiet walk. Glad they put no interactions throughout so it's just a moment of introspection.
To me this track represents the depression of loosing Maria actually kicking in. When leaving the elevator there's the sadness and shock of the loss, but here, retracing the steps james and the player spent with maria really makes you realise the loss, feeling more empty and alone.
My favorite out of all the new non-OG tracks. Wandering the street with no monsters around, barely any lighting is absolutely haunting. Proof that Bloober, though not perfect, know how to handle the IP.
I remember when I play for first time, this theme make everything in the road to the Historical Society more depressin and at the same time more beutiful, I'm glad that the remake can have the beuty of the orignal and even update it
