The LFX swapped Miata’s are dangerous for time attack. I drove one around a track and it was insanely fast. The V6 swap smokes the V8 swap on track, with the V6 swap you lose 20 pounds of weight upfront so the weight distribution also gets better
My personal favorite is the V12 swaps and that v8 swapped one with turbos for headlights. People just let go of common sense and just cram the biggest engine possible in the car, and it's amazing.
All police departments should have the twin turbo Taurus. All wheel drive quick off the light and decent on gas. I see those v6 chargers getting cooked all the time. Only the troopers have hemis. The caprice is slowly being phased out because they are discontinued and they put up a scrap also. Clayton county Georgia has a whole fleet of muscle cars from scatpacks to coyote s550’s. And to be honest the lower torque of the V6 and The Wider Power Band are both inherently better for time attack cars
