      Yes, this L20 moves very nice, plenty of acceleration & speed. Also the simple frame makes it lighter which contributes to the good dynamics

    Honestly a fantastic bike. Have nothing to complain about mine, except for the battery level indicator which is a little wonky. It will show 1 bar used after about 18kms but the next bars will be gone after about 7kms. Wish I could adjust it like the C20 pro or EP-2 Pro

    • @TechTronic9000

      That is similar with most ebikes, also a reason is actually lithium-ion discharge curve which as lower it goes in charge the faster is dropss

    I really like the L20 design. I wish they put a bigger battery in it. Even it it meant making the bike longer.

      Buy a second battery and carry it on the frame rail.

      You could get a battery fusion combiner and add a 2nd battery.

    I just received mine, first feel, it is heavy and not easy to move around. The pedal assist takes too long to kick in. Sometimes the kick when it starts working is too strong, id like it a bit more progressive.

    • @TechTronic9000

      It's a geared motor with lot's of torque, that is why it kicks in hard.

      fully agree. I think this bike was made for commuting with little thought to slow and leisure trail riding. Very disappointed with ours.

      I use a lot of throttle in this video but sometimes I also pedal.

    I really wish they would make something that can recharge the battery so that when the main battery is dieing the backup charges it.....

    • @davidelliott5843
      @davidelliott5843 Год назад

      That’s pointless. Either wire the backup with change-over switches or swap the batteries.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Год назад +1

      You can do a dual battery mod, I have several videos about that. Also it's a lot easier just to swap the battery

    I bought this bike for my wife. She is a new rider and the bike is perfect for her EXCEPT for the YL 81 display !! I took for granted that the L20 would have the sane display as my Engine X (YL80C) big mistake. The L20 has no provision for pedal assist level adjustment. Level one is too weak and level two is far too strong. I am in hopes that SOMEONE will come up with a YL 80 panel for the L20 that will pedal assist adjustment on the L20 as we have in the various other models. Otherwise I will have to replace this one with another brand of step-through that has a user friendly panel.

      If you are in the ENGWE groups you can find there a post from another user which makes a swap with the display from an X / PRO model and that also enables the more advanced settings.

    The test rider needs to learn that bikes lean into turns and how to steer into turns. Locking up the brakes is unnecessary and risks falling off.

    • @TechTronic9000
      @TechTronic9000  Год назад +2

      There are lots of leans in the video but my GoPro levels them out due to stabilization. Maybe for the nex pow rides I could completely disable stabilization so you can "feel" the video better.

    Être obligé de rouler avec la clef sur la batterie n'est très judicieux : un faux mouvement et voilà la clef cassée au ras du barillet. On ne peut pas penser à tout.

      @@TechTronic9000 Je ne vois pas en quoi un risque accru de casser la clef est un élément de sécurité.
