I am 43 years old. Been a Lions fan since I was 9 years old when my dad took me to the Silverdome to watch. From 0-16 to making the playoff during Johnson and Stafford years and to seeing the years of losing streak to Greenbay, this squad is by far one of the best. Hopefully they land a spot in the Playoff this year.
They will 100% make the playoffs. They are most likely winning the North and im all for it

David Montgomery deserves all the credit in the world for this game. 32 carries is almost never seen in the modern NFL, and that backfield duo with Gibbs is going to be special. Bears made a big mistake letting him go.

I must admit that, as a Bears supporter, I'm really pleased with the Lions' current level of success. They deserve it genuinely. They are playing superbly, and it has been long overdue.

It was quite nice to see how fast they bounced back within the first few minutes of that turnover. Lions are here to play.
First 2 minutes = SOL
Final 58 minutes = Packers SOL
Idk early 4th quarter had me puckered but after the 2-pt conversion miss it was loosened and then they drive it down to put up one last TD and sealed it. Packers tried that comeback stuff but not this year!! No Rodgers hail marys this year lol sorry Aaron. Then the pick at the end. It felt like a back and forth game but when you really watch the outcomes it’s insane how the lions can turn these turnovers into 3-7 pts. Did not used to be that way.
Little to late need more work
They beat the Packers in the final game of last season to eliminate them from the playoffs,, and finished with a winning record after so many losing seasons.

Jared Goff throwing a pick that leads to a field goal only to come back on the field and throw for a TD immediately after and 200+ yards for the game was honestly inspiring. To be so entirely unbothered and able to just move on with that "next play" mentality is amazing. Thats my Detroit QB and my Lions! 🙌🏼🦁

First time the Lions won back to back games at Lambeau since 2017 and 2018 and the second time since 1990 and 1991.

The Lions’ defense shut down the running game, and when they did that, they really put the pressure on Jordan Love to beat them and they’ve turned him over twice. Jared Goff aside from the bad decision throwing into coverage, has played really well, and they’ve got David Montgomery involved early and often tonight. The Lions are definitely for real, imo

As a Lions fan, look, I wish we made it to the Super Bowl and faced the Chiefs, but hey, given how long the Lions have struggled and faced futility and misery for the last 30+ years, I’m more than happy with how this season turned out. I will watch every win from this season with a huge smile on my face for years to come! 👍😊
Props to Goff. He is back to playing like the QB that went to super bowl 53. When Green Bay brought the score up to 27 - 17, that was close and they were on a roll with momentum, but Goff did not let up and scored a TD too. At that point, I knew it was over for the Packers. I think the Parkers would have tied or won the game if the Lions had gotten stuck at 27.
Based on? It was never less than a 2 score game once the lions went up 21-3… so I’m curious as to why you’d think Detroit would’ve lost the game without that last scoring drive

Congrats Lions and lions fans. If anyone in this league deserves to finally see their team on fire, it the lions. The power of the nfc north has shifted. I am not a toxoc fan and apprecuate good football and good teams and good coaching. Great to see it even though my packers will have a rocky road ahead for a while.

In previous seasons that pick would have destroyed their fragile morale and caused a downward spiral. Campbell is doing a fantastic job of ensuring that little setbacks don't become game definining.
This Lions team had everything their fans were waiting for. The offense was as sharp as it should’ve and their defense was also agreeable and good enough to call them strong. As I said before I’m really happy for them as I hope they’ll win their division and also I hope they’ll be one of the contenders in playoffs… .
I’m hoping Jamo comes back strong. They really need a deep ball playmaker to open up the field some more. Seems like a lot of teams have a bit of success in that zone against us at times. Luckily, our receivers have great hands. Especially impressed with LaPorta in that regard.

Love to see the success of Dan Campbell and Jared Goff and I'm not even a Lions fan. It's an easy team to root for. I also think Jordan Love is going to be just fine. He has great footwork and can clearly throw at 65% consistently. Just a hard fought divisional battle.
I liked that scene at 1:12 where the Lion player wanted to do the Lambeau leap after scoring. He looked around and found a few Lion fans in the front row to jump into and he went for it.

Good to see the Lions with the potential to win 10+ games this year. I've been waiting my whole life (25 years) for a truly cohesive, motivated football club. Stafford and Megatron had a great duo, but this season we have an entire squad of team-oriented players. Blue and silver never looked so good.

@DarthVader-if9kr got banged up with the leg after week 2 but after that booming return and his physical strength as a power back I think he should do very well for Detroit. Swift couldn't stay healthy but now he's balling it with Philly which is nice to see
More than 60 years ago i became a lions fan.I suffered year in and year out.....tigers. red wings and pistons won championships while lions kept on losing year after year. When I turned 80 I went back to my country of origin to live there. And MIRACLE is happening. Lions are finally a serious team. They are beating packers at lambeau. I guess i was responsible for 60 years of nothingness. I am not going back to big d, i am staying put where i am and cheering and hoping, hoping for ...................a miracle.🏈

Agreed. As an ISU alum and Bears fan I had mixed feelings about him coming to Chicago. Now at least he can show his potential. Detroit isn't throwing to him enough but that's okay
