I agree with your assessment. I might add the Packers are the youngest team in the NFL. Younger players tend to recover faster after injuries which could be an important aspect to being healthy (as a team) when the playoffs begin.

Been a packers fan for 30 years and it’s been a struggle this year. Making the playoffs as the youngest team in the league would be a mini Super Bowl in a way considering how inconsistent we have been but last couple weeks things are starting to click more and I’m impressed but no way we are championship ready
I agree at first i wasnt aware that we had made so many changes and had such a young team. It showed this season but now its starting to show that the team is settling and coming together! Thats exciting to see and I do believe this team will one day be a superbowl champion worthy team. I look forward to seeing that.
I really hope Patrick is ok from that terrible clean and legal hit in bounds. Good gracious the brutality of hitting players that don't slide in bounds. It's just terrible.
And the post game was a joke. They only showed the questionable push on kelce and not the ridiculous personal foul on mahomo. The league has such an agenda and they’re not even trying to hide it.
I think we can celebrate the packers defense for that win, two defiantly fair defensive plays, containing no passing interference in any way is just amazing!
It's been so fun watching this young Packer team start to figure out their groove and how to play together. They really do have a ton of potential to win a lot of football games in the seasons to come. It'll be fun to watch though, that's for sure.
Honestly though, in past years when the packers where either already guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, or we were already out of them, i usually root for the vikings, bears, and lions to win, cause somebody has to represent the NFC north
Nothing wrong with a bears or vikings fan cheering on the Packers! For me, if my team (packers) can't get the job done in the playoffs, I'd start cheering on ANY team from our division no matter bears vikings lions.
The last few minutes of the game were pretty dirty on both sides of the ball (no calls, fighting), but if you go based off of overall performance the Packers beat the Chiefs in every aspect except for the run game. After everything I think the Pack wins fair and square. Despite the ending not being perfect it was still a great game.
There should have been a PI on that first pass. To expect a pi on that Hail Mary is absurd. There is a worse PI on almost every Hail Mary pass. That roughing the passer call when mahomes was in bounds was also an absolutely awful call.
And even if some people think the Chiefs got the short end, we don’t have to go back far to see the Chiefs being given games in their favour by the refs. They could have just as easily won here and lost to the jets, which actually would be worse for them because it would be an in conference loss. The league has certainly not shafted the Chiefs in recent years.
@@downsouth00Everyone deals with bad calls and it makes all of us upset. It was PI, it wasn’t called, we’ve been there before, too. How about this: Worry about what your team CAN control. Like Mahomes’ INT. That is what cost you more than anything.

You probrably thought the DPI in the superbowl should not have been called, when the defender himself has said he fouled the guy. You probrably also agreed with tonight's no calls on the DPI.
@@claudejohnson-kq7ihi hope you reply. first, the mahomes unnecessary roughness. it was really close, lets be honest. it was a bad call, but you also need to realize that the defender’s foot was out of bounds and mahomes wasnt even 0.1 seconds from exiting the play and had no intent to gain any *additional* yardage after the first down. lets just say bad call. either way, pacheco cost the chiefs a 15 yard penalty and ejection the following play, which cancelled out the roughness call. second, the BLATANT dpi on mvs that was not called. that has got to be one of the worst dpi no calls ive ever seen. not quite rams vs saints championship game bad, but its up there. you cant dispute the fact that it was a clear penalty and wouldve brought the chiefs very close to the endzone. and the defender griddy’d away as if he made a clean stop… third, the mvs forward progress clock stoppage. im no nfl ref, but the position of the ball has always been the point of focus rather than players’ bodies for positional rulings. im pretty sure that as long as the ball is moving horizontally or forwards as the player step out of bounds, the clock wouldve stopped. if you watched the replay carefully, you wouldve seen that mvs actually reached forwards as he was heading out of bounds. maybe it was a missed call, maybe nfl viewers just missed it because of the anti chiefs hivemind. who knows. fourth, the hail mary dpi on kelce. those almost never get called because you could analyze replays and find dpi on every hail mary. whatever, its understandable. but if you had to look at it objectively, and had to answer if it was dpi or not, everyone would say that it was dpi. kelce was eliminated from the play before he had any chance to go up and get a shot at the ball. if it was called, everybody would have said “let them play,” but its still a clear penalty. im not bothered that it wasnt called, but there was definitely a penalty there. im a chiefs fan, but im not delusional. there are definitely times where the chiefs have gotten away with some very questionable calls, but today was not one of those. most of this season hasnt been either.
-A missed interference call on Valdes-Scantling -The wrong call on the Mahomes hit -Stopping the clock instead of winding it when the receiver was getting tackled going backwards -The [very slight chance of] calling the interference call on Kelce A lot of things missed in those final moments for both sides. Poor lack of judgment there. Don't let it distract you from the great game the Packers played, though. Really hitting above their projected weight class this season And no, I'm _not_ a Chiefs fan. I'm a _Giants_ fan. Don't put those allegations on me thinking I'm salty or some sh*t
Wow, this was really something else. Ruining the Lions' Thanksgiving is one thing, but to do it to the Chiefs too is without a doubt the most impressive thing the Pack has done all season since the epic comeback against the 'Aints. A lot of that improvement came from Jordan Love's noticeable improvement in his accuracy and decisiveness. Although he struggled at times during weeks 3-8, he's gotten a hell of a lot better since then, and these past 3 weeks are proof of it. He really has come a long way since his first NFL start in 2021 (ironically it was against the Chiefs), even through the Packers' seasonal growing pains with their young offense. As long as this improvement continues, which I expect it to, we should be in good shape as we are now. As for the defense, they surprised me with thier effort against Mahomes and Nagy's Chiefs offense. It was pretty hard to do considering how great they (the Chiefs) are, but just like we did with the Lions on Thanksgiving, we held up just fine, even with all the stress we took from Isaiah Pacheco (who got ejected for unnecessarily punching Keisean Nixon) on the ground. But in the end, perseverance was all that mattered. The Packers might be in the midst of a rebuild post-Rodgers, but that fateful Sunday Night, they've shown they can still compete with just about anyone. Another job well done for the Packers. Hope to see this momentum continue to build. #GoPackGo
Jordan Love is developing into an outstanding NFL quarterback. The difference in his play against the Chiefs vs when he began the season is night and day improved. I'm a Vikings fan, but ya gotta give credit where credit is due.
He may well make people not unhappy about Rodgers leaving. Green Bay has a solid organization. If the Bears had 1/100,000 their skills they would be contenders. Alas, they are not and probably never will.
His stats are similar to Rodgers during his first starting year, so yeah definitely a lot of potential, a few mistakes but nothing unreasonable for his first year as a starter and he's making clear improvements every game.

@@claudejohnson-kq7ihi hope you reply.
first, the mahomes unnecessary roughness. it was really close, lets be honest. it was a bad call, but you also need to realize that the defender’s foot was out of bounds and mahomes wasnt even 0.1 seconds from exiting the play and had no intent to gain any *additional* yardage after the first down. lets just say bad call. either way, pacheco cost the chiefs a 15 yard penalty and ejection the following play, which cancelled out the roughness call.
second, the BLATANT dpi on mvs that was not called. that has got to be one of the worst dpi no calls ive ever seen. not quite rams vs saints championship game bad, but its up there. you cant dispute the fact that it was a clear penalty and wouldve brought the chiefs very close to the endzone. and the defender griddy’d away as if he made a clean stop…
third, the mvs forward progress clock stoppage. im no nfl ref, but the position of the ball has always been the point of focus rather than players’ bodies for positional rulings. im pretty sure that as long as the ball is moving horizontally or forwards as the player step out of bounds, the clock wouldve stopped. if you watched the replay carefully, you wouldve seen that mvs actually reached forwards as he was heading out of bounds. maybe it was a missed call, maybe nfl viewers just missed it because of the anti chiefs hivemind. who knows.
fourth, the hail mary dpi on kelce. those almost never get called because you could analyze replays and find dpi on every hail mary. whatever, its understandable. but if you had to look at it objectively, and had to answer if it was dpi or not, everyone would say that it was dpi. kelce was eliminated from the play before he had any chance to go up and get a shot at the ball. if it was called, everybody would have said “let them play,” but its still a clear penalty. im not bothered that it wasnt called, but there was definitely a penalty there.
im a chiefs fan, but im not delusional. there are definitely times where the chiefs have gotten away with some very questionable calls, but today was not one of those. most of this season hasnt been either.

@@Facts-dealerIf they didn’t call a late hit penalty on Mahomes, when he was clearly inbounds, he wouldn’t have been in the position to make that throw.
@@Facts-dealer he still would've had to score a td and a 2 point play just to go to ot. Also the chiefs got the most stupid push out of bounds call of all time
@@jairemoney7993The fumble recovery being overturned too
The packers have officially discovered the formula for building hall of fame QB's
Bart Starr...Brett Favre...Aaron Rodgers....and eventually, JORDAN LOVE 🤙🏿
Slow down.
Yo chill bro 💀
I spoke wrote that out here about Love 2 years ago. When Rodgers was still playing. 😊
Off of a win against a struggling Chiefs offense? They were 5-6 before this game and all the praise he got at the beginning of the year went away but now here you go overreacting to one game lol
@hardy,.... let's not get carried away,....Merry Xmas
GB with impressive win. They have been really improving. The offense and play call has been very good.
