People tend to think Ronaldo is stronger / more physical because he has bigger arms, a six-pack, more toned physique overall, etc., but the type of physicality that really matters for attacking players is their physicality on the ball, and Messi's strength on the ball is quite ridiculous and underrated I'd say. When you combine his raw on-the-ball strength with his low center of gravity and quick acceleration + overall movements, it's basically impossible to get the ball off him. And yeah, his injury resistance throughout his career has also been unbelievable.

People tend to think Ronaldo is stronger / more physical because he has bigger arms, a six-pack, more toned physique overall, etc., but the type of physicality that really matters for attacking players is their physicality on the ball, and Messi's strength on the ball is quite ridiculous and underrated I'd say. When you combine his raw on-the-ball strength with his low center of gravity and quick acceleration + overall movements, it's basically impossible to get the ball off him. And yeah, his injury resistance throughout his career has also been unbelievable.
