You're right, he deserves to be in the GOAT conversations (which he is to some extent) but the one thing that derailed his career was injuries. The first half of his career was unreal, everyone thought he was the best player they're ever seen but the latter half was plagued with injuries and he had to retire early. You're also right, there are tons of talented players but the reason why most people consider Messi and Cristiano the goats is because of their longevity. Most of the other players you've seen are obviously talented but they never had the longevity and consistency at the highest level that Messi and CR7 had/have.
