How To Use Dishwasher Pods

In this video, I demonstrate how to use dishwasher pods in a dishwasher. I talk about different types of dishwasher pods used as detergent for dishes and then go on to show where to place dishwasher pods inside of a dishwasher. I also explain how to use a dishwasher pod as a pre-wash in addition, with the dishwasher pipe that goes into the main compartment for the main wash.

Okay, I was supposed to close the drawer lol. Mine has two sections, a cup with no lid and the drawer one. But I don't plan on using liquid so I don't think I need to worry. Also had to run this load a second time because there was still crud on the dishes. Might have to try this trick for heavier loads, thank you.

Dude, no need to place a 2nd pod in dishwasher for pre-wash. In fact, it is not recommended. pre-wash is just a cycle of water to wash away the heavy stuff before the detergent is used for the wash cycle.

That is incorrect. Pre-wash cycles are intended to have soap on them. Your dishes will not get as clean as they should if you don't put soap in both the pre wash and main wash cycles.

@@ahokay3119 You must have a very old dishwasher. Modern dishwashers only have slots for the pods and for rinse aid. These concentrated pods are not for pre-wash. Just throwing the pod in the dishwasher like that is not correct

the pods made by cascade platinum are not made of platinum. I thought the purple part might be a platinum derivative, so I called cascade and they told me purple does note denote any platinum presence in the pod. let's just say I'm very disappointed
