- Layering is one of my favorite things to do as you can create some unique scent trails. These are a few of my favorite ones! Which ones have you tried? Special thanks to Molly & Shannon for testing these out with me today!

@@SoCalScents I do have a question though. Does it matter which order you apply them? I read somewhere that you should apply the heavier scent first and the lighter one on top. Is that true for you?
@@escusameh I always do heavier on first lighter on top. If I’m not sure. I’ll change up the order on one hand to see if I like it better or it doesn’t matter. Sometimes it doesn’t matter. Sometimes it does.
Like mixing Aventus & Baccarat Rouge 540, you’d think Aventus should go on first. But BR540 is stronger as a whole even though it’s a lighter scent, it smells better when it’s the base and Aventus is on top. So try it out, but general rule of thumb, heavier scent on the bottom lighter scent on top

I just got The Most Wanted and Wanted by Night just to layer them. Just love them together.

Ultra Male its just so potent, dry down has that warm and feminine fuzzy feeling, even with layering it overtakes all other notes, cold weather and outdoors only at best.
I have over 100 colognes and have been layering them for a few years now. I like to mix Spicebomb Extreme and Invictus Victory. Its absolutely delicious!! I also like to mix Most Wanted and Armani Code Absolu!! Whenever I wear either of those 2 combos I mentioned people absolutely go nuts and won't stop asking me what I am wearing and trying to literally bury their faces into my neck and chest to smell me!!! The compliments are endless! Enjoy! Oh by the way, that Most Wanted/Wanted by Night layer is fire!!!!!! Peace!

I tried Dior Homme Sport 2021 with Bleu de Chanel EDT the other day and it smelled amazing. It smelled like a high end A&F fragrance mixed with Chanel platinum egoiste. Couple sprays of Dior followed by two sprays of Chanel. I definitely want to try out Ultime with Lacoste and Y Live and Explorer
I’ll have to try that mix sometime!

Layer Mercedes-Benz cologne with YSL Y Eau Fraîche…. Spray MB first then Y Eau Fraîche on top of it.. makes that lemon last throughout n not just at the top… 🔥🔥
I wonder if you could sub Mercedes for something like Dior Homme cologne to keep that lemon 🍋

Out of these fragrances (some of my collection) what is best suited for a good first impression date night fragarence? also if any name what should not be considered for a date night ... YSL Bleu Electric, Coach Platinum, YSL Le Parfum, Wanted by Night, Most Wanted, Parfums De Marly Layton, Carlisle, Pegasus Exclusif, Rasasi Hawas.
Most Wanted, Y Le Parfum, Y bleu electrique, and Layton are best suited for the date night. Summer dates I would do Hawas, and on slightly cooler summer nights The Most Wanted and Y Le Parfum.
Please try the layering combination with ysl y EDT,Versace pour Homme, Bvlgari glacial essence.

I just got and tryed rasasi hawas and Eros flame layered.. I like it on paper lol.. hawas atomizer is better than Eros so I feel like I'm spraying more of that than the ero on skin. I'm tryna get it right lol

Nice. Wondered how other people react to layered scents. Glad I had the scents on hand to follow along lol. That rhubard and rose compliment each other well somehow. The azzaro twins setup is really nice but a bit nauseating for me sadly. Really good though.

Found a combo that gets pretty damn close to Gucci Envy. Don't know if I want to share the recipe yet.
I mean, nobody really wears Envy anymore as it’s been gone for so long, so you’ll still be the only one rocking it even if you do :). The joys of experimenting on fragrances 🧪
Layered by accident Y live with Rasasi Hawas. Got a complimet from a dude when paying a bill in the likes of...sorry to bother you but I had to ask, what are you wearing? My answer was kinda like, don't know cause I put on two hahaha. Finally just ended up telling him Rasasi Hawas. He said..not to sound weird but that smells really good. So my first compliment of the year was from a dude which wasn't what I was looking for, would've have preffered from a lady. In the end it was still cool cause the guy was genuinly like wow that smells really good (I felt proud of myself 😁😆).Now I have to try it on the Laaaaayyydies as Bill Burr would say. Mind you here in Chile we are still wearing masks out in public so the effects aren't as notorious unless you are wearing something nuclear. Oh and once I was waiting in line for food at a restaurant and the lady in front of me turned around completely to see who was behind here kinda to check out who it was (it was really obvious it was her smelling someone). I was wearing 5 sprays of Wanted By Night😁😜🔥. She didn't say anything cause she was with her what seemed to be her husband but she did give that weird look.

Thanks for the content! This is an interesting topic. I've never felt brave enough to blend different fragrances. I keep thinking I'll end up with something that smells like vinegar or cat pee🤢😂
Just try something simple and spray your hand 1:1. If it smells bad it’s easy to wash your hand :)

I always tend to spray the heavier one on first. Layering can create some awesome unique smells. Today I layered replica whispers in the library and Sauvage

Would like to try the gummy worm combo but don't own acqua essential blu...have tried eros and y le parfum enjoyed it quite well and got complimented on it...tried many others but only other one that was ok not great was cahsee and y edp and I guess sauvage and versace man eau freiche
Acqua Essenziale blue, I believe I got my small bottle online for like 20? I dig it in the mix more than by itself though. It’s just fine by itself.

@@carlosfabian52 it works great with Aventus. I haven’t tried it with explorer at all. Elysium is a completely different fresh so I have no idea how it would turn out with that one.

The only combo I wouldn’t wear at summer during the night would be “wanted by night & the most wanted”. It’s for colder weather. Though you can wear the most wanted at summer nights alone just fine (I did this summer in LA).
All of the other mixes should be great to use at night in the summer.

@@anonyanony8857 store away from sunlight and keep in a nice room temperature. You can clean them however you like :)

I dunno, Orange Sanguine + Sauvage smells like a wet dog for me 🤢🤮 a big no no.
(prefer OS + AC California Clementine)
But Ultra Male + Sauvage are really good combo, but somehow longevity & projection became very weak.

Armani Code Profumo + Zara Rich.Warm.Addictive
Mandarina Duck Black Exreme + YSL L’homme
Valentino Uomo + TF Black Orchid EDT
