- Injuries are the only reason why there's any changes for the 2nd Test in Auckland. It's as you were other than that for the match up between the All Blacks and England. Can England end a 30 year run without a win at Eden Park?
Slight correction. The ABs have not lost at Eden Park since 1994 (to France). But England have only beaten them once at the ground, in 1973 - 51 years ago this September.
England have only ever beaten All Blacks twice in NZ. The last time was in Wellington 2003.
Yes
Was about to make the same points...
Been a couple of draws that were as good as losses from memory.
@@diyguru9677against a stellar team and down to 13 men at one stage - in the back row no less.
The 2003 team was something else. I still rank it above Ireland’s recent series win, as we did Australia that same tour and they really were the other top dogs.
Best of luck England from an Irishman, good to see England back to playing good footie, much better for the sport to have a strong England
Thanks mate. Best of luck with your Test against SA. I'll be firmly supporting The Green Machine.
Fin Baxter did do well. But what a tough initiation in to the grown-ups world. If it doesn't break him he could go on to great things, so young what a future he'll have.
Lomax is rubbing his hands knowing what he is about to do to the english scrum 😂
More like Nic Berry is rubbing his hands knowing that he'll ping NZ for illegal scrummaging. England have already asked the ref to look out for those tactics.
What step out and walk around?
Hopefully the poms learnt about not stepping back during scrum contact,
@@wlk2408Do the boks just dial it back 40% for their clubs? Bc nobody at Ulster was sad Kitshoff left due to his incredibly underwhelming performance this past season
@@wlk2408you South Africans have to jump on every rugby channel and make it about you. Half your country supports the ABs and lives in NZ sit down
Love your vlog and thanks for all your effort in making it! Your are unbiased in your evaluations(in the main) and further, you have cottoned onto an important realisation that the last 20 minutes are the most important. The secret is the effort and the fitness ( the belief comes from that). Everyone is mostly knackered in the last 20, but thats when you can do the most damage! Keep up the vlogs mate I love them!
Great comment 👍
Had such a chuckle about the cars. Durban is well known for custom jobs.
Golf GTI's everywhere
Chatsworth Chariots 🤝🏻🤝🏻
Big exhausts, small....
Drag racing. Crazy guys. Bomb Squad is not cringe, Tim.
Great to see Borthwick continue with his continuity of selection. Though do agree with Tim regards Harry Randell. Plus I’m pleased to see Tommy freeman get another go . He’s one hell of a player and I’m convinced he’s destined to play in the centre for England . 🏴
I think Winbush Freeman will be our long term 12 13 combo.
@@BertFlashman zach wimbush is a interesting call Bert. Seen little of him but hopefully breakout year next year.
Mitchell is the man to look for, what a hell of a performance last week - in fact I thot it was gonna take time to replace Ben Young but boy, Mitchel said hold my beer
He’s absolutely brilliant and has been all season. So quick mentally
I don't know, I still feel England will bring it to the All Blacks.
I appreciate and respect all teams, but nobody is unbeatable.
Havnt won against us here at eden Park since 1973. Good luck pal. Only been 51 years
@@willliam1343 I agree 100%, and I played on Edenpark in my SA under 20 year so I know what a fortress it is, my family live there aswell. I'm being optimistic
@@ArnoVogel wrong game id say , it must be frowned upon a SA cheering for England 🤣
Think it was SH that starting calling the subs impact players mid 2010s, because he felt they were more than substitutes.
@@ontheblock40hot11 Definitly Hansen who changed the thinking from bench to impact, aided of course by NZ’s embarrashment of rich’s. I think B.B was one of the first players specifically chosen for that role.
Love your channel tremendously!!
Can’t wait, I hope England have one more in them! Go well boys
Wow what a weekend ahead for England!!...versus the ABs and then Spain
Once again great preview brutha , looking forward to a physical clash , LETS GO BLACK 💯💪😎
Understand the comments re: Spencer vs Randall (in terms of continuity vs speed).
Really don't get the point of selecting F.Smith on the bench (instead of a 'utility back') - especially given Furbank or Slade could, at a push, cover 10 - and personally I think changing your 10 in a 'by the numbers' replacement causes more issues than it helps given the disruption
I think it is to give him experience and caps at this point in the cycle of World Cups, to be honest.
Foster made lots of changes as he built depth. The new coaching staff are able to select the same team because Foster gave plenty of players a chance.
All the best ABs...our friends, our rivals💚💛🇿🇦
The England front row has struggled recently but having watched the England U20s forwards do a complete demolition job on the SA U20s this week it’s nice to know there’s hope for the future!
Our U20s will go to the clubs and never be as good again...
Surprised Borthwick hasn't started Cole but again Rodd and Stuart coming on as a combo isn't giving you solidity in the scrum.
If England can sort out their breakdown work theyre in with a sniff.
Yeah where’s jack Willis when we need him.
Thanks mate, can't unsee the pilgrims now
Just a shame Beno Obano can't make the squad. I think he could make a real impact and has been scrummaging superbly for Bath last season.
hes still banned from the prem final i think
Completely agree - think he deserves to be starting LH
Not a good call that @@nathan._.h
Going to the game and can't wait. Even though Eden Park is a fortress for us after last weeks game it is not a done deal. I think fear of losing is the biggest motivating and contributing factor in AB success, ahead of deternation etc. You wear that jersey you don't/can't lose.
Im gonna call Codie Taylor leading the Haka
Or Ardie.
Oh yeah I was thinking Savea, but Taylor might be the other option.
I thought maybe ALB
@Mata-Miramar Yes. Good call, but being on the bench might go against him.
I agree Tim, under Razor NZ will find their confidence again. ABs to win by 15.
You are correct the AB's are different to ALL other teams
In most games
They have different coloured shorts and top compared to other teams.
Exciting England team off the back of a decent display last weekend in Dunedin. They'll have complete freedom at Eden Parker on Saturday. Given the ABs record there, England have nothing to lose and everything to gain, although I would imagine we'll see a reaction from New Zealand, that win was way too close for comfort.
Last test was supreme quality by both teams I was very impressed by both forward packs even though nz scrummed better I think the backs defence cancelled or nullified each other out of the game
Think it will be another close game. Hopefully the All Blacks win by more than one point!
Haka is historically except for Tana lead by the most senior Maori player in the squad. So Taylor will lead
Agree England is short on really good props, but I think Will Stuart is slowly taking steps forward (maybe spending time with Cole is helping him to improve). He had a good 6nations and was pretty good on the scrum (Lomax stepping out should have been stopped much earlier). He needs to be more consistent and it seems to me he lacks self believe, coz physically he has great attributes to be a great prop. Anyway I'm sure it will be a great game, NZ to win by 10.
England and the AB's both building, I get the sense that England need this more than the AB's. The NZ media are almost teeing the fans up to accept a narrow loss and England need a big scalp away to kick on. Look at what the win over Ireland did for the squad in the 6 Nations, with a 2-0 loss in NZ, I think a lot of that will be undone.
What you on about they only came 3rd 😮.
@@Shamankzn cmon you beat Ireland by a point last minute in twickenham and apart from that a loss to France in France which the week before Italy drew with them then you beat tier2 nation japan , not exactly done that well since beating Ireland a loss against ABs will see England last 6 lost 4 won 2. I think England still have a long way to go and considering they are now in transition for well over 14 months ABs two weeks it is very much time they stepped up to the mark because after this test you’ll find by autumn ABs will be well seasoned.
That's Christie to a tee, solid. He's never spectacular but he gives good service without ever setting the world on fire.
Really strong in the last quarter except for the game that ended 25-25, as I recall (tell me if I've misremembered)
Keeping Cam Roigard's starting spot warm for when he returns from injury
As a quacker I find you comments delightfully insightful and pray to our breakfast making , house meeting building , rugby shirt wearing lord. As it says in John 7, chapter 15. Go get ‘em. Good work Tim 🙏
ABs have to win to keep the England shirt accurate. 0 wins. 2 losses.
v good
😂
Sad but ABs will be 2 n 0
Lol
Really think Barrett is a fullback playing second five-eights. Rieko is fine at centre.
I have no idea who will win . The first test was so close. That said i really enjoyed watching the ABs and England go at each other .
My heart would love England to get a win but my head says it will be another win for the All Blacks.
Lastly i really liked Razors interview after the game .What a character. It was nice to see him and Borthwick having a chat after the game
Codie Taylor will lead the haka
Impact is a regular term used for the bench.!
Nz will win
"IMPACT" suits certain players. Asafo Aumua comes to mind. Comes on around the 50 minute mark and is a can of coke that's been shaken to death he's fizzing so much. 🤣
Last week was the game England could have maybe should have won. As an England fan I think I will be watching from behind the sofa 😂😂
Never troubled NZ in the second half
@@jzkramer apart from scoring the only try of the second half you mean?
What are you doing behind my sofa?
Get out of my house!
@@HeidiLandRover Sorry I will have to stop doing that😂
Can’t wait for this test match. I worry England may get blown out a little in the second half but there defence is top notch so hopefully not. Really want another nail biter. Was hoping England fans might get an intro to Wallace Sititi but hard to argue with the experience and versatility of Jacobsen
Sound is good Tim. Yes a lot of youngsters in Durban like to drive around with modified exhausts making noise😂
Your shirt looks like a All Black jersey and you look a bit like Damien McKenzie.
Enjoy your day at Umhlanga🏉🏴🇿🇦
'you can get wet weather this time of year in Auckland' - it rains constantly in Auckland, but as I look out the window its not going to one of those days
From a rugby perspective, both the ABs and England are in a rebuilding phase. They'll both get better over the next 4 years.
Tim, it will be codie Taylor leading the haka, is my best guess. He has done it before. ALB is a sneaky shout, but taylor makes most sense.
My first all blacks game was in Wellington in 2003 and as we all know we lost a few months later I went to an Indian v blackcaps and we lost that too. I will not be going to watch the game in Auckland so we should win hopefully 🤞 😂😅
Codie Taylor lead the Haka at the World Cup. It's probably him. And he's a Maori.
Cody Taylor will lead the Haka and Razor is all about bonding with players and them getting used to his system and getting cohesion.
An old saying in rugby, don't change a winning team.
Literally every coach does this
@@jormundgandr88 Yeah Ian Foster didn't and no, not all coaches do this, or do it well.
@@Billcali yes he did
Sam Cane anyone???
@@jormundgandr88 What one player? lol whatever dude. Not sure you know much about the AB's and Foster..
@@Billcali yeh that's it bro fvck NZ fvck the ABs too
I was surprised to see an unchanged AB’s team obviously except for tj. Fozzy had chipped and changed the 23 so much that it was hard to build combinations
@Tim.. if Supersport offered you your own rugby show as host and anchor, would you stay in SA?
the man has a family! lol
@@superbowljoel01 they're welcome...we have space for em
No he shouldn't accept. The appeal of Tim being in charge of his own platform is that he can share his opinions freely. That very appeal is the reason you, I and everyone else watch his videos. No directors, no schedules, no script. Just straight unfiltered opinions and moving with the motion of the ocean
After last week, I really can't understand why Spencer is on the bench. Raffi would be a much better replacement IF NEEDED that Spencer. Borthwick needs to think more if some replacements are actually necessary.
Love the ABs new collar..very stylish, lovely touch to their strip😊
England are very good team.Itoje is absolute nuisance in the break downs and line outs.
The English loose forwards are world class.Mitchell at halfback is real handful.
Only area of weakness is the front row and the bench.
The All Blacks should win by 10 points.
I think if the ABs get a fast start then that is the key.
If the poms stop slowing it down.
I think No.2 Codie Taylor will lead the haka, to replace the injured TJ Paranara. Codie Taylor led the haka against Scotland in Scotland back in 2022. Then in last year's World Cup in France, Codie lead the Haka against Uruguay.
Would love to see Finlay leading the haka. That guy is on fire
On Spencer, he was slowing the ball deliberately when in England's half to get the kick chase right. Unfortunately kicks slightly long and the chase very very slow. I think England need to think about how they can conserve energy and have more impact off the bench. I would not have Finn Smith on the bench as well have 10 cover from Furbank, we just need Spencer and a utility back/fullback cover maybe Steward. Freeman can play at 13 if needs be. Then we can have one fastish lock/flanker like Nick Isiekewe and go 6:2. We are really lucky with the backs we've got in England, probably just too many good choices making it hard to pick. I'm sure Borthwick will have all the issues from the first test addressed anyway but really felt like Spencer is getting unnecessary flack for having to play the way he did
Mate your last video we couldn't hear the ocean waves, those exhausts have no chance. Great mic
TJ should be back for the Rugby Championship.
Ardie in cruise control last week. I expect a massive game from him.
Alex Mitchell is excellent. He really surprised me on the weekend. Don’t know why England stuck with Danny Care etc for so long
The 'Impact' in place of substitutes is indeed cringy. The numbering of the team sheet of England is the true crime though
Ha ha ha !!!!
You are in the capital of sup-up-your -car...!!
You will see cars with every accessory available. Dropped suspension, loud exhausts, coloured lights, massive spoilers, scoops, vents, decals, you name it...
The difference in our starting players to bench players in quality for nz is very very little. Reason why the last 20mins of games nz are so strong.
Just look at the players who missed out on this full nz squad ( Sotutu , Roigard for example)
Even the quality of players who are in the squad and still haven't been in involved in these first two games.
Tim...what sort of 3rd world back hole county are you streaming from! What a dive 😂😂😂
Enjoy your time in our humble abode. Love that you're here, showing the world that 3rd world life aint too shabby!
Also...your pronunciation of Aaron is subpar. I reference Key and Peele's substitute teacher sketch. Please apply for reference 😂
Will be interesting game, both team play to their strengths, Razor have good look how England play and so the English coach there plan have to be on song, or one or the other will tear the other apart
Spencer looks diffident playing for England whereas he really grabs the game by the scruff of the neck for Bath - he needs to bring that attitude in when he comes on. I don’t fancy England at all on Saturday, but they are capable of doing it - they seem to have confident young players and if the don’t fluff their lines like last week it could be close.
Cody Taylor will lead the Haka, one mean Māori!
I think ABs line out will be better and I think they will work out a way to negate England's rush D. ABs by 10.
Not sure I agree with our man Patrick, I think there are a number of teams that would have something to say about that. But NZ are at home and have their new coaching team and reputation to rebuild, I’m sure Razor has rallied them around their history and desire to get their aura back along with the #1 tag.
In all sport we have a thing called the "second wind". A phenomenon which is seen as a boost of stamina towards the tail end of a match/game
New Zealand have undoubtedly mastered the "second wind"
So have some of their posters.
Cody Taylor to lead the haka, I think he has done it before?
As a Bok fan, I totally agee that it was the game of the weekend. I think many of us Saffa fans are likely to be more supportive of England now that Owen Farrell is not in the team. He was easy to dislike and he came across as arrogant. Poms playing some good ruggers at the minute
He came across as arrogant but from people that know him eperodnally they all go on about how humble he is. That included players from South Africa.
Reckon we can live without SA support. Would love Owen Farrell back . 🏴
Interesting, as a kiwi i found the SA/Ireland game to be the game of the weekend. If any of Farrel's punishments ever stuck or made a difference i wouldn't dislike him and scott barret as much.
@@axxey He did literally have a external decision overruled because of public hatred.
I would rather have Owen back than your support.
I think there is more pressure in this test than the first. More history to keep up in eden park, the england game plan will be the same probably better
Hmm I think I’d pick M Smith rather than McKenzie.
In regards to the jeysey...You are forgiven my son lol I think Ardie may lead, but Lomax, Ioane, Lienet-Brown, Ratima, I'm sure can be called. on. I liked seeing Fin play that reminded me of a young Greg Somerville and certain a sure pathway forward with a healthy career.
As good as England are they will not win at Eden Park, that place is hell for visiting teams
"Rude boy cars" Welcome to Durban mate! 🤣🌊
The All Backs will never be a complete team unless they can combat the rushing defense.
I know I’m in for some grief here but, what does everyone see in Henry Slade that I don’t? Everyone bats on about how amazing he is and how much he controls things and offers an option. When was the last time that he was so amazing? What option does he offer? I’ve never seen him put in a MoM performance, he’s a yard too slow for international rugby and he can only offer an option if he’s played that way. I’m not saying he’s bad but, I’m not sure he’s the messiah that the media makes him out to be! Sorry Henry.
Codie Taylor is the senior Maori so leads the Haka?
Interesting in the centres, I believe the best centre pairings play club together and maybe even more, Conrad and tana, then Nobu, Stanley, little. The combos take 100s of games together. Can’t just rely on test matches. I think reiko and Jordie are too similar, you need someone different. I think laumape/ Jessie kriel/ butch James type would be better with deception, bash and deceive combos are the best.
Hard call, this All Black team is still in the nascent stage of its development and vulnerable. England could win but their belief has to be absolute. Not can win but must win because nascent or not it's how All Blacks play each game.
Must use the word "nascent" more in everyday conversation. That word has a great future in my conversations.
Codie Taylor leads the haka!
"The Quakers" this current edition of All Blacks 😊
Codie Taylor will lead the Haka
I agree looks like we're praying for help! Haha!
All Blacks won't be so rusty come Saturday 😮
Would you rather be a BENCH warmer, or an IMPACT player? I think even if its just a marketing ploy, psychologically it could be enough to just give a player a 0.01% increase. Fine margins as they say can win games.
I like the colour of your shirt mate, a sign of good things to come for this game…?
As an Irishman , I hope England can get a win , just makes for a better 6 nations competition moving forward , better for rugby all around when the teams in Northern hemisphere can compete . Gotta admire the history and competitiveness that the Kiwis will bring tho :)

Tim, please read this. Fairly long comment. That's it. Just consider it. Thank you. I wrote this to a friend this morning and thought that I wanted to share some thoughts with you. Paste -I think this is Rassie getting Ireland out of the way. Then I think that maybe there will be 3 major changes coming to SAs backline, with Moody having his moments, alongside Fassi, to get real game time. More permantly though, these 3 incumbant starters may find themselves not even being in among the replacements. Not too many backline players on the bench. Handre will maybe get a bench in big match. Maybe. Faf and Willie may be done. Four 9s taken on WC tour, and Damien Willemse when he's back. Fassie didn't get Bok gametime because he isn't a very good player. It's nothing to do with his defence, even if there's room for improvement. He's the next best 15.

Will be shocked if England win at Eden Park. Your playing on a live volcanic bed and the energy is different and foreign players always get exhausted and caught out by the strange atmosphere
