I agree with everything you say regarding the iPad Pro. I also have 12.9-inch M1 iPad Pro with magic keyboard and love the hardware, but it is let down by poor operating system that doesn't let you fully utilise the power of the underlying hardware, and applications that often leave me feeling like I am using an overpriced and oversized iPhone accessory for a Mac computer. I agree MacBooks now offer exceptional performance and Mac OS is superior to iPad OS 16, but I would never buy another MacBook because it doesn't have the UI needed for a mobile device, viz. no touch display and no built-in pen support. When will Apple stop being such dinosaurs and add intrinsic touch display and pen support to Mac OS? That would also solve some of the iPad Pro issues (certainly for the 12.9-inch model), because you could give the pro user the option to run Mac OS in the desktop mode and iPad OS when operating in tablet mode (like a Chrome OS tablet). It is unlikely Apple will do this because they are too focussed on shifting boxes to make profits (i.e. they want you to buy both the iPad and Mac computer and not one or the other). It leaves me in a quandary, because I would ideally like the Mac OS equivalent of the Microsoft Surface Pro, but I can't see that happening all the time we have the current Apple leadership team at the helm as they are all too Apple old school. So, I may get a new M2 Pro Mac Mini, if it's ever released or wait for a Microsoft Surface Pro with a better processor e.g. 12th gen Intel (though too power hungry), AMD 6000 series or preferably next gen ARM processor, hoping Microsoft's project Volterra / Qualcomm - Nuvia bear's fruit.
Exactly, Keith… I also think they’re only wanting to get more $$$ under Tim Cook. Such a beautiful, slim device with so much potential… but nothing more than a very expensive companion 😔 Unless you have a very specific workflow with a lot of drawing. In the end, it’s still just an iPad.
Thanks for the kind words! I did this video a while back so I don’t 100% remember… but I guess I used Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 with Canon R7. However, the lighting and setup were a bit off in my earlier videos 😂 my new ones should look a lot better!
Ha! Sorry about that 😂 Honestly, I’d suggest getting the 11” iPad Pro or an iPad Air/mini as a companion device. You’d still be able to use it for notes, Lightroom, drawing, etc. while going for the Mac to do all the other work. Great combo! 😊 And… if you’d still prefer the larger 12.9”… that’s ok too! There should be good deals around now that the M2 ones have released!
@@coppensbram no worries lol. i have the 14” MacBook Pro, so yeah I shouuuld really be using that for everything :D you’re right tho, the ipad although powerful still has a lot of software limitations. It’s easy for me to forget about this when new iPads are constantly hyped online. My last iPad Pro became a an expensive Netflix / RUclips screen for me haha
im doing my research on how long laptops good for. while apple has 6 to 7 yrs. top laptop brands like lenovo, dell and hp supports or good for 5 to 6yrs. despite m1 or m2 faster on mobile device. i think laptops are better investment than mobile devices. apps would run longer on pc than mobile devices

Great video buddy I gotta say with this sharp editing skills you’ll become one of the biggest
Thanks 👊 I’m having too much fun editing 😂 even if it takes so much time haha
Great video! Very professional! May I ask which lens you used for this video? Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words!

I came here looking for a reason to get a renewed M1 12.9 iPad Pro. Not gonna get one lol, just gonna use my MacBook 😅

Interesting angle, I agree! You will be able to run software for way longer on a MacBook rather than an iPad!
Get your wallet out so. 😅
It was out for the iPhone 14 Pro Max 😂 Damn those EU prices are just nuts!
