I had the speck case for my M2 air 13 inch iPad. I LOVED THAT CASE. The pencil holder was top notch, the camera cover and the multiple viewing angles and the sketching/note taking position is the BEST(I’m a student that uses the iPad for digital handwriting for notes). I traded in the 13 inch air for the 11 inch M4 pro due to portability. The 13 inch M2 air is great for note taking for stationary use only but it is a little heavy to use as a tablet and takes up too much surface area on a classroom desk. I decided not to go back to Speck and purchased a Pitaka and Tomtoc folio cases because I wanted to be able to have a “Portrait mode” viewing angle. I settled with the Tomtoc because it has a magnet slim case where I can detach it from the rest of the folio, better angle for writing and the magnet strap for the pencil was much stronger than the Pitaka. If I didn’t want to have the portrait viewing angle and the ability to detach a protective case from the folio then I would’ve gone back to the speck in a heart beat. I also think it’s reasonably priced. This was a great video review! Get a speck case!
A downside of the Torro case is that the only place to store the pencil is on the top, held by magnets, where it is exposed. That was illustrated by the pencil falling off during the review.
i was in the exact same tech situation, i have a Ipad mini 6th gen, love its size and portability, but is lacking with the performance, at least a little bit. i really miss having pro motion on my old ipad pro i switch from. now im going back to the 11inch ipad pro
I only take the original Apple Folio case. The others are much too heavy and bulky. With the Zugu case is my Ipad Pro M4 11 heavier then my 13 inch Laptop. And thats without a keyboard.
Love the new magic keyboard, but I tend to use more often the Logitech Combo Touch for those times I can use the case without the keyboard or with it folded away. I have them both. Magic keyboard is definitely better to type on, but the Logitech is better for using it for just about anything. Typing, pencil, angled, etc.
I've been using the Logitech keyboard more because taking the iPad out of the pivot case is kind of a pain. I'm also afraid to bend the iPad if I keep it up.
@@jeradtech Thank you for responding sir. I fly black hawks as well king airs so I’m always switching between yoke mount and kneeboard. I understand the balance between the love of tech and functionality in the cockpit. Thanks for all the content.
Quick question. Which LED clock is that on your shelf? I see running stats from Strava? I’m interested in getting one of those but I don’t know who makes it
I've tried other cases but always end up using Zugu cases the most. Comfortable, secure & durable. They really grip Apple Pencil so it's never lost.

Woah that pivot case is awesome!
I’m looking really hard at that Pivot case. That thing is the cat’s meow.

I agree. The pencil isn’t as secure as in other cases.
The best is the pivot and esr case. I love the esr comes with a cover and Folio

Thanks for you video-lots of good information
Where did you get that wallpaper that's on the iPad? It is absolutely stunning!
It’s a photo I captured. Thanks!
I wish there was a case like the ESR shift but with microfiber on the screen cover… That’s my only issue.
Does this work on my Tab S9 Ultra 14.6"?
Do you consistently switch between the pivot case and Magic board? I'm a pilot as well and have trouble trying to go back and forth.

@@peteyyy2 Which of these do you think is the right one to fly considering that I don't mount it on the yoke?
Zugu is the best
Thank you!

Why does Zulu list this folio case separately from Gen 2? Are there more than one size for 11” iPads?
