Hi Alejandro, I'm reading that the fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You would have to drop the fuel tank to access it. If you are talking about the fuel pump control module, here is some info about that part from the Malibu forum - "You should find the fuel pump power control module in the trunk on the passenger side. My info is for 2016 cars and usually covers 2016-2018 well but I am always cautious about being certain on the 2018 cars. They did make some changes in 2018 that aren't documented well and one of those changes is in the fuel system. Pull the trunk trim panel and you should see it there toward the rear." If you haven't already seen it, here are all of my Chevy Malibu DIY repair guides - www.paulstravelpictures.com/Articles/2016-2023-GM-Chevrolet-Malibu-DIY-Repair-Maintenance-Guides.htm I hope you find them to be useful in the future.
Hi, In most cars you can just firmly pull up on the front edge of the rear seat to release the friction fasteners. Just be careful and pull in different areas to loosen all the clips. Good luck. 🙂 If you haven't already seen it, I have a list of Malibu DIY maintenance guides on my site - www.paulstravelpictures.com/Articles/2016-2023-GM-Chevrolet-Malibu-DIY-Repair-Maintenance-Guides.htm I hope you find them to be useful. 🙂
Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm reading that you can try wedging something between the 60 / 40 split seats to gain access to the trunk. Then use a pole with a hook on it to pull the glow in the dark "T" shaped emergency release handle. Once you get the trunk open, you can attach a piece of rope to the emergency latch release and route it inside the rear of the car for future use. I would also try spraying the latch mechanism with penetrating oil to help it work better in the future. I usually use PB Blaster penetrating oil like these on Amazon - amzn.to/3RkQPf3 I hope that helps. Edit - Here's a video that shows another procedure - ruclips.net/video/kfIGd-Rn014/видео.html If you haven't already seen it, I have a list of Malibu DIY maintenance guides on my site - www.paulstravelpictures.com/Articles/2016-2023-GM-Chevrolet-Malibu-DIY-Repair-Maintenance-Guides.htm

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that. It's too bad that Chevrolet designed a car with out a key hole for the trunk. I would get a jump start or a new 12V battery and then open the trunk. Here's how to replace the 12V battery in your Malibu - www.paulstravelpictures.com/2016-2023-Chevrolet-Malibu-12V-Automotive-Battery-Replacement-Guide/index.html I found a video for you on how to release the rear seat from the inside - ruclips.net/video/kfIGd-Rn014/видео.html I hope that helps. Is there a way to take the seat belt off from the middle seat?
Hi, you'd probably have to pull off the lower seat cushion and then remove the bolt that holds the middle seat belt in place. Good luck!
Hi do you know if the fuel pump is located under the rear seats?

How do I take off the bottom part of the seat where the butt goes because where the seat belts connect it’s stuck under the seat
