How to be mesmerizing: Be more beautiful than everyone else.
be charming and silly and sad?
sad sometimes, wholesome
teppolundgren she believed herself to be ugly, people from her hometown called her ugly.
Pretty much 😂
@@DiamanteDea but she deeply inside knew that she wasn't 😅 come on
What I think is mesmerizing about her is her expressiveness.
Everyone in the comments saying "you must be born beautiful" entirely miss the point. It is all in one's expressiveness...
@@gn6379 Exactly.
what expressiveness?
Yeah, but you won't see alot of videos of unattractive people having fun and being called mesmerising
She was not just beautiful, she also had lots of charm, which not all pretty people have.
its a lot easier to look charming when you look like a goddess
a beautiful woman can get ugly real fast when she has a bad personality and a unattractive woman can become beautiful with a good personality.
@@crashoppe what you say is not the antithesis of mine hence i mostly agree with what you are saying. what i mean is, if you don't look attractive, people don't bother getting to know you so your inner beauty is meaningless. you can still be "cool" without beauty but it isn't the same as being charming. it passes and the charm stays. this woman is so beautiful and fits our understanding of beauty. we focus on her and realize how intelligent she is too and now she is a perfect 10 in our eyes. you cannot say this with not-good-looking people, unfortunately. you wouldn't watch her and get dizzy by her if she had an average look cause she is not saying extremely unheard things, we only got captivated by her because she is so beautiful and her meaningful words made us stay, that is all.
@@brittaperry7994 well to me, the people you speak of are not worth knowing whether male or female. there are good people out there, both male and female but i do believe they are rare. thats the biggest reason i dont associate with many people.
She had extremely beautiful, expressive eyes and stellar charisma. It's not only about look. Hollywood actors these days are mostly boring pretty faces.
Even though she had brown eyes, they were still beautiful
@@coodafooda3637 i mean brown eyes are overall beautiful so that’s not surprising, but yes I agree
@@m00nlove i wish more people'd think so.
@@coodafooda3637 she had blue eyes
Yep they will be forgotten quickly!
This is actually a guide to fall in love with her.
Lol, i don't think so. Beauty fadess hennyyyy
What I also love about her is that up until her death in 2019, at age 79, she had the same partner for decades and neither of them cared about how they looked while they were old. No plastic surgery or botox. They just lived their lives and looked happy. She didn't care about fame.
shes dead bro
Husband. Knock off the partner shit. She had a husband
Farewell Anna, you'll be terribly missed by us.
Why'd she die?
@@coodafooda3637 Because she was born mortal.
@@RadicalCaveman best answer ever!
i don't know how i ended up here but i'm glad i did
TheRandomGamerDude i searched mesmerising
Ginga Tetsudō Surī Nain same
There is something so special about her. Truly unique woman. We are so lucky Godard and Karina have met and made some of the best movies ever! Merci á vous Jean-Luc et Anna!!
I think audrey horne's character was inspired by anna karina tbh
+Sophie Badon nahh... Audrey Horne's character is more mischievous
Damn...good eye
This was my thought
She looks like her a little. But her outfits are actually more like Laura’s here.
@@1chienandalou it's the hair, sort of
Anna Karina was great, she was one of a kind. I love everything she did.
People here seem to think it's all about the beauty, I highly doubt it. I've seen plenty of beautiful people who haven't an ounce of charm and likewise plenty of people one may call unattractive who can be described as "mesmerising"
The guide to being mesmerising is to find that perfect balance between beauty and charm
@@dg594 Try Hope Emerson in Caged and Cry of the City to name just two.
rip anna :( one of my all time favourites
I like your user name.
how to be mesmerizing: get good genes.
Trust me it's not only that. I know pleanty of pretty girls who are boring
ProPatria 97 and you most likely do not know those girls on a personal level, or atleast they’re not comfortable enough to actually be themselves around you. No one is just “boring”.
@@chocolatemilk5589 Okay maybe boring was little bit too harsh. But my point was, beign mesmerising like Anna Karina or Audrey Hepburn, is only 50% looks. You need to have charisma also
@@chocolatemilk5589 one persons defition of boring is different from another's. I find someone boring if they only listen to rap or hip hop. Just an example. I can know someone very well and still think they're boring.
Harmon Dushane I disagree heavily. Someone who is quick to call others boring is 90% of the time only seeing surface deep. But you’re allowed to have your own opinion.
So ... what part of this video is a guide lmaoo
So influential to my teen years watching La Nouvelle Vague. RIP Anna ♡♡♡
The thing is to make eye contact and actually try to connect with people as human beings. I notice in North America and in modern society in general, people go about their days very detached. Try to say hi and make eye contact with strangers, with cleaners, with security guards, in a kind way. You'll both make yourself and others feel nicer.
A stranger can be a horrible person, maybe some kind of a predator, someone dangerous... being nice to everyone without giving it a second thought is not very smart.
@@LeelooMinai Uh, no, what's not very smart is to go through life as if every single person you come across is a horrible person to the point you can't even make a 1 second eye contact. You think you're being smart. You are actually just being both alienating and alienated. And who are we to judge what a "horrible person" is?
@@13hehe The point was that people vary, and assuming they are all non-toxic to you is very risky. As to the second part, that is judging who is horrible or not, that's what humans do, estimate and act accordingly: you don't need a permission to do that, it's a basic human behavior meant to help with self-preservation.
@@LeelooMinai I don't assume anything about people. I simply treat them as how I'd want to be treated... Like human beings. And you don't need actually need someone to be "not toxic" to be nice to them. That's extremely self righteous and judgemental.
People talking about how only her looks matter ugh....she is a remarkable actress and a singer.
There are millions of models with perfect faces and voluptuous bodies, why was she in these films instead of them?
She is stuble and nuances in her acting and can be expressive and versatile. She is a smart woman who knew how to hustle in a man's world and now she and her best work is preserved in film forever. She is a big part of French new age cinematography as she took chances in her career for it.
How many of you can sing like her? dance like her? and act like her? Remember lines like her? Be charismatic and have stage presence like her? Perform in a room filled with hundreds like her?
Many of you here can only look and a human and see the flesh but cannot appreciate what she truly is...a talented human being unlike many of you jellyfish.
Now don't look at people so objectively and then later complain when someone does it to you too. Next time someone calls you ugly or beautiful just remember your judgement is as shallow as theirs.
Jellyfish?
I totally agree. People are too shallow. Most models are cocaine snorting idiots looking for the next party and hot guy.
Wow!!!!!!!!
Thank you for saying it perfectly.
I didn't have the intellect or words to say it myself. I love you and and beautiful mind.
Superbe Anna Karina
Comment voulez vous qu'on vous oublie.
My Australian Shepherd ran up and stared at this video, wagging his tail with delight. I'm convinced.
1. Be beautiful. 2. Keep your facial movements small, ladylike. 3. Do whatever...
Step 1: Be extremely conventionally attractive
Step 2: Act like you're high af
She’s not conventionally attractive
I pity your girlfriend, if you can get one.
She is a singer
She can remember a script
She can dance and act remarkably in the presence of hundreds of people
What can u do
lol whys everyone so mad theyre just making a joke. i agree that shes charming, but a lot of it depends on her inherent prettiness. what most ppl r trying to express in this comment is not that all pretty ppl r charming but j most of the time these traits wont come off the same w someone who isnt already pretty. theyre not making a personal attack on anna, just in general on the internet there has been a lot of “how-to” trends that largely depend on someone already hving potential to be conventionally attractive.
@@dustyvacuum3517 they're not just making a joke.. they literally cannot tell apart some one who is performing intricate dance moves she memorized vs some one who is just high af....
and we're not mad - we are just sorry that y'all are so blind to it... like we're disappointed in how shitty your life must be if you can't spot that shit to the point of believing it and joking like that.
probably one of the most the most beautiful (and smart) women on the planet. Watch Vivre sa vie and TRY to take your eyes off of her face...
Forever young ... in cinema.
I didn't learn anything here lmao. She is beautiful that's why I stayed.
Vintage manic pixie dream girl
my fauvorite actress of all time possibly
some unforgettable scenes from My Life To Live. She was terrific in early Godard films.
You've just seen everything you need to see about being mesmerising.
It may take you 20 years to understand what you've just seen.
Rest In Peace Angel
I was already mesmerized by the thumbnail.
Superb. Just superb. Not just a pretty face, but substance to match.
R.I.P. angel.
I had read Anna Karenina and kept looking suspiciously at the video thinking I'd never heard of that version before (and then I read the title again) Lol
It worked. I'm mesmerized.
She reminds me of Emily Browning

Shes a manic pixie dream girl, like Zooey deschanel
stop
People are people. Characters are manic pixie dream girls. Anna is a real human and thus cannot fall into any fictional stereotypes, as she’s necessarily too complex.
Fuck Zooey. She's like the one orst actress ever 😂
@@maddieb.4282 - But aren't celebrities treated more like characters and caricatures than people, especially by the media?
Jessica Moss does someone’s treatment by others define their personality, or what’s actually in their mind and heart? Just because an actress is typecast doesn’t mean that’s who she is.
RIP
I don't know if maybe I'm just weird but I don't find a lot of women from "back in the day" very attractive but this woman and marilyn monroe could be beautiful in any generation. Stunning.
What's the music?
I was really confused bc I read Anna karenina
As a beautiful guy, I wish the rest of you... bonne chance!

How to be mesmerizing: act infantile.

No.

Nice bone structure.
I’m watching a dead girl dance.
We all die.
Nice vid but not informative in the slightest
This is just a video about how people are mesmerized by the wrong things. To be mesmerized by your eyesights preference towards femininity just means a blind person has greater judgement than you. If it is not an action that sends chills down your spine and freezes you in thoughtfulness, regardless of the meat suit worn by the soul, it is not truly mesmerizing. The elderly feeding ducks are more mesmerizing than a broad smoking a cigarette acting autistic, if you would only use your inner judgement. The comments are right, it's not fair that she can do it and be mesmerizing but a fugly old man would be seen as a psycho. That is why it is not truly mesmerizing, people are just gullible when it comes to eyesight. Bad choices and unfairness are not mesmerizing, they're just lame.
I may not agree with what you wrote concerning Karina. but I'm glad you did, clicked like.
Facts
Anna is mesmerizing as she is a brilliant expressive actress. You cant tell her emotions throught stuble and nuances or sometimes vigorous and loud ways of her acting. She also has a remarkable voice and has lived a very difficult life. Beauty is just only more layer to her.
Millions of models with even prettier faces and voluptuous figures exist and she is in this film. Why? Because she is talented...unlike many of you. She hustled her way into the world of evolving cinema. A smart woman who played her cards right. And her best performances will be preserved in film forever.
How many of u can remember lines like her? Act like her? Sing like her? Dance like her? Have charisma and stage presence like her?
And you sit here scornful because she is a woman. And you can only see of her what you want to see just her looks. Maybe you should look deeper and pay attention to how complex and wonderful a human can be.
So, your just jealous?😂
For those of you getting all jelly about not being as hot as Anna Karina, take a gander at her Criterion Closet video circa 2016. She looks like a certified hobgoblin. Also she's dead now, so there's that.
I don't think you'll be looking all that good at 76, champ. So there.
