Here I felt the fear of them all, felt so bad for Sol watching them all die around him to D: I got a little emotional and reacted how you did.. what an Episode guys and Have to give it to Leslye here.. also a fun fact about Qimirs armor and mask.. 'Cortosis was a metal that had a very high energy absorption rate and transmission coefficients, which allowed even the energy of a blaster bolt to be dissipated upon contact. One of the strongest minerals in the galaxy, cortosis could even withstand the blow of a lightsaber and briefly short out its blade. It could also redirect the heat of explosions, as discovered when General Anakin Skywalker attempted to collapse the entrance of a cortosis mine, and the resulting explosion breached through Mokivj's crust. Despite these advantages, cortosis was very fragile until refined, making it normally useless as armor, and had difficulties with prolonged energy attacks, such as those of lightning guns, which would overload the material' That's pretty deep stuff to dig out and put back into canon. That kind of Metal is the same color from what I saw as the mask. Also explains why a backhand hurt more than a weapon.

It really isn't. It's dreadfully written, edited and acted. However, this episode was reasonably well done. It should have happened earlier in the series.
@DrewMack-tv8ozUm Star wars Fanboys is what has kept Star wars alive since the beginning, idk how that's a insult lol. More like the new Disney Star woke Fanboys you mean 😂
I have enjoyed it so far, and honestly I think it's because I can see the intent despite the poorly edited scenes/transitions and how short each episode feels. Definitely feels like post-production and some dialogue are the main things going against it. Honestly can't say it's unique to this show but overall I have enjoyed what they have presented, and especially after this episode I'm even excited to finish it out.
Solid fight but no it isn’t this just a fan fiction with no sense of continuity and mediocre writing. It had a solid premise but sadly there are too many flaws in its storytelling for most to not just “turn your brain off”. Aside from only a few peeps the fans like Qmir and Sol who are the only solid/good parts of this series so far

18:27 Both Qimir and Sol know that they have the opposite twin. They both have who they want, though Sol wanted both--the Jedi came to Khofar to get Mae, remember? They were ordered to bring her back to the temple. Sol spent the entire series calling Osha and Mae by name only to revert to "she" and "your sister" during the last few moments of the episode? There was a reason for that. Had he called Mae out right then and there, she would have dipped. This day was a bust, but there was a silver lining, and he had to play the part to make sure Mae got on his ship. If Qimir could tell Mae and Osha apart in that shop just outside the Jedi temple he can certainly tell them apart here too. Isn't he the one who sent Osha the vision from the first episode? Mae didn't do it--she didn't even know Osha was alive! When you consider all the links the series made between the witches of Brendok and Chancellor Palpatines explanation of the Sith and Dark Side of the Force to Anakin during the opera in Revenge of the Sith, it certainly looks like Sith are witches! I don't know if they come from the same coven as Mae and Osha, but all signs seem to point that their was at least a pact between the Bendok witches and the Sith that were also hiding on Brendok--the witches weren't alone, and I think that's why Mother Koril spirited the girls out of the forest quickly. The episode made us believe that it was the Jedi that Mother Koril was worried about, but I suspect that that's only half the story. I think she was more worried about the twins being picked up by another witch faction. Both the witches and Sith had a common goal, survival. While I don't think they were rivals, they might not have been on the best of terms either. Mother Aniseya was optimistic about their future while Mother Koril was always defensive; she was keenly aware of the dangers around, which is likely why she was always on edge and protective. Her coven had lost so much, an she didn't want to lose anymore. The night of the ascension, one of the witches that ran into the court yelled out that the Jedi had sliced through the platform, and moments later we see them walk in peacefully, no weapons drawn--if they had sliced the platform, wouldn't they have ready to fight? Master Indara was respectful while before the witches and she made sure those with her were as well. Someone else sliced the platform, someone we didn't see. I think Qimir was there. He already hinted that "the master collects up people," so we know how Mae was found. What did the ascension do to Mae? What didn't it do for Osha? Are Osha's memories her own or are they Mae's? "You're with me, I'm with you Always one, but born as two As above sits the stars, and below lies the sea, I give you you, and you give me me" --Mae & Osha's mantra They are two sides of the same coin, bound by the Thread. Their mothers wanted them to stay together because they gave each other balance. What's about to happen, I suspect, will give them what they need, balance. Mae's been trapped in darkness and what Sol is about to tell her is going to open something up in her. I think the same will happen with Osha, she needs to face her past, which is "Dark" and "Unnatural," as Mother Aniseya had described it earlier. Will the sisters fight each other again, and will it be to the death? Who knows? I sort of don't think so, as they are one. I can see one of them or both of them dying, but I don't think it'll be by their own hands. The Sith on Brendok likely did what they did there, wiping out their rivals, while blaming it on the Jedi, because they wanted the witches' technique, the ability to create life through the Force. Not to create children as these witches did, but to cheat death! "The power of one. The power of two. The power of many." --Witches of Brendok's mantra That has to mean something, and it likely explains why Anakin has a very high midichlorian count. Anakin didn't have the power of one or two, but the power of many. Why? Because he was created from the Force. But to what end? I think Palpatine told us the answer during the opera in Revenge of the Sith, to cheat death. I think Darth Plagueis was planning to transfer his essence into the unborn child he had created in Shmi, giving himself a new lease on life and much more power. His plans didn't work of course, since Palpatine killed him before he could transfer his essence--I suspect that Palpatine made his move the moment Darth Plagueis was preparing to do it, when his guard was down. Palpatine thought he had learned everything his master had to teach him, but failed to learn this one thing, and I believe that this has been Palpatine's entire motivation since we've been introduced to him. He's been chasing after the elixir of life. He's an old man, reaching his end and he can't let go. He can't do what his master could so he had to ad-hoc his way to everlasting life, which is likely why he took Kamino's science and made it his own. This also explains why he's been trying to clone a Force-sensitive body. Anyway, I cannot wait until next week. What an episode!
Wow!!! Thank you so much for dropping t this in our comments! 🤯 love these examples and theories! I hope you’re right about them knowing they are with the other sister and the Palpatine stuff makes so much sense. They only have a few episodes left to pull all this off, fingers crossed 🤞 they do! Thanks again for watching a long and for the great comment. 🙏
I’m thinking Qimir may not be from the line of Sith that led to Palpatine. There’s some kind of history between him and Sol, which makes me think that maybe he’s a failed Jedi - which would also explain why he could Force Heal - turned Dark Jedi trying to harness the legend of the Sith? I could see the ‘true Sith’ appearing at the end and killing him to retain their secret and the Jedi realizing Qimir wasn’t a ‘true Sith,’ protecting the canon. I feel like this is supported by his lack of Sith Force abilities in general, i.e. no lightning, choking, etc.
I think something like this too!!! He reminds me of kylo living on vaders legacy. He said "jedi like you may call me a sith" makes it seem like he knows he isnt a true sith but can appere as one for lack of a better name. I would be good with him being classified as a dark jedi in the end.
@@radapox I mean, that’s fair. It’s just that so far in the films and shows, they’ve been fairly liberal in their use of Dark Side abilities like that so I guess that’s just something I tend to look for now. Fair point for sure.
Or maybe more, simply that somewhere to how count dooku had ventress despite dooku being sidious as apprentice that the current guy is the sith apprentice. And we haven't seen the master, which is really scary because since this dude is incredibly powerful, you really put some perspective how powerful he's master must have been.
@@jordanwhite352 Hmm that could definitely be interesting. Qimir maybe fails, and his Master replaces him? Possible with a young Plagueis? I don’t know how they could protect the canon if Qimir is truly a Sith but it’s certainly a plausible idea if he’s just the apprentice looking for his own acolyte.
Big, bad Sith is Plagious, right?!? Or at least will name himself that by the end of the series? A secret, hidden son of the witches, surviving and brought up in the ways of the dark side and to hate the Jedi?
I love the consistency in the acolyte especially character motivations and choices. - Mae loves Osha - Mae wants to kill Osha - Mae loves Osha - Mae wants to kill Jedi - Mae doesn't want to kill jedi - Mae wants to turn herself in - Mae doesn't want to turn herself in anymore - Mae wants to kill Jedi - Mae loves Osha again cause family - Mae leaves Osha to die on the planet.. - Mae back on killing Jedi.. ....
@TheSithList on episode 3 there’s a theory during the ceremony behind the mother witches is a mysterious sith figure in black robes that doesn’t show his face could be plagues or his master or smilo ren and not one of the witches and when the Jedi came he was gone
@TheSithList np and it played kill ren then sing twice I bet the stranger is the origin/ancestor/first knight of ren and leader of kor even cuss of the back of the helmet too and he used one of the abilities to disappear into thin air called force speed or force dash or force teleportation or force cloak one of em is very rare abilities and he could be a former Jedi or padiwan that turned to the dark side or maybe sol’s twin brother that the Jedi hid from sol and dint tell him since I bet the Jedi took sol as a child instead of qimir cuse they sense darkness in him or maybe the stranger is taught by a witch or he could be one of the survivor child of the witches that the other witches don’t know about since when the witch said the Jedi want to take our children instead of saying the mother witches children even when osha said to mae that they were the only children there the two women braiding their hair looked at each other for couple of seconds thinking they are not the only children there probably even when they look back down on braiding their hair and the stranger looks like he has the same witch symbol on his back of his black shirt the same witch symbol that was on the witch envelope that mae took from osha and burned it and the stranger could be pleagus in human form or serving plagues or pleagus master and he wants a acolyte to over throw one of them even his outfit looks like one of the knights of ren outfits similar unless he’s the main first and original knight of ren
@TheSithList and smilo ren has cracked lines on his mask like kylo ren without the glowing that why it broke in half maybe it was fixed by the same person or same material
It was very “ “Game of Thrones “ trying to get you invested in a few of the Jedi characters & then violently kill them off .. You’d think our furry tracker friend would know straight away the sister switch
Ive not seen any other theories specifically mention names but i personally dont think Qimir is actually a Sith, hes a disgruntled force sensitive who is throwing the term 'sith' around to strike fear. At this time because the show is Approximately 132 BBY then technically the 2 sith in existence are the Master: Darth Tenebrous and his Apprentice: Darth Plageuis. Maybe the last episode will have a live action appearance from Plageuis killing Qimir for impersonating a sith. But thats just a theory

Feel bad for all the people who haven't watched the series cause they saw memes about space lesniens and fire in space, from reviewers who watched the first 15 minutes then posted their about how the entire show ruins star wars, in order to get rage bate. Despite watching everything and also knowing law back to front, haven't been this interested in SW for years.
Qimir is not a sith i repeat he is not a sith. he said the jedi "MIGHT" call him sith but he is not for he has no name. every sith is given a name by a sith master. palpatine gave anakin his name Vader.
why didn't Master Jedis from everywhere feel a disturbance in the force with Jedi being killed ...because remember The Force binds us it Connects us all everywhere
I liked the fight scenes. They were definitely the highlight. But I thought the writing in this episode was particularly weak. I didn't like the reveal. That shouldn't have been the master. I know people're hoping that there's another big bad that's going to be revealed, but realistically, we only have three episodes left. i don't think there's going to be a reveal of another big bad. I think at most, one will be hinted at in the last episode, in hopes of getting a second season. Star Wars has a habit in recent years of making whiny little punks Siths (starting with Anakin), and I think this is another example of that. And how did Mae not know it was him? Sure, his voice was changed, but she knows this guy pretty well. His mannerisms would've given him away. And finally, enough with the mistaken identity nonsense. I predict they'll abandon it immediately in the next episode, the same way they did the *first* time they pulled that nonsense. Enough already.
I very much so think qimir knows its osha, the camera lingered on her tattoo, he would know that she doesnt have maes tattoo and has a different onenom her arm
Spoiler Alert Qimir is DARTH PLAGUEIS who really is a Changling that take switch places with his freind of a different race as a kid after making him kill his self after switching clothes
Bc it's extremely rare. It is also illegal to possess, however, not that it matters for the empire. I'm sure it's a thousand times rarer than Beskar. 👍👍
Not a hater, love the potential this show has, but why is anything we've been watching for five episodes happening? I'm looking for any clear, coherent idea of who these people are, what they want, why they want it, and how it all ties together into some kind of overarching narrative. (That's over and above how any of this connects with Star Wars lore as we know it.) Each super-short episode feels like 25+ minutes of filler. When you boil it down, they each have approximately 5-10 minutes of substantive content that drives the story forward in any meaningful way. And what is the story, exactly? Characters act without any clear or consistent motivation and their dialogue consists of one cliche after another. They just don't feel like real people at all. I want to root for this show, truly but it's really hard.
Those are all valid point. You’re not a hater if you don’t like something because of valid reasons. I respect that 100%. I hope by the end of it all it’ll be more cohesive for you.
the writing takes away from all the fighting there is no weight to this story at all and it is now just sad that we have to pick through all this crap to find any good points
The fight choreography was pretty dope, but there are just so many stupid plot holes the writers keep making. Sol being out of the initial action, Yord suddenly running again after his leg was hit, the flashlight bugs flying off with the Sith. All of this stuff was written for flashy fights but not an actual feasible plot. Its just fan service at this point with no real cohesive storyline. I HOPE the twist is that Ki Adi turns out to be a liar or that nobody actually gets to report back to the High Council that a Sith is running around.
This episode was proof that the series is very bad, as it only got good now when the Sith (great actor) killed the bunch of boring and uninteresting characters that covered 4 damn episodes, but I mention that the episode is excellent, the fights They're great and so are the Sith's dialogues, I hope it continues like this from now on
Fascinating that throwing a lightsaber fight into a poorly written show with regularly poor acting can make fans overjoyed... If only because the visuals were finally impressive enough to overcome the weak dialogue. If I'd come to care about any of these characters it would've made an impression.

Despite these advantages, cortosis was very fragile until refined, making it normally useless as armor, and had difficulties with prolonged energy attacks, such as those of lightning guns, which would overload the material'
That's pretty deep stuff to dig out and put back into canon. That kind of Metal is the same color from what I saw as the mask. Also explains why a backhand hurt more than a weapon.
@@Beaumo66 That’s amazing that she went that deep in! Very cool touch. Thanks for the info as well!! Great knowledge drop in here. 🙏
@@SithList I am not sure if it's 'Not Canon' but I know it's older so probably not until tonight.. Yalls reaction was great as always, Can't wait until next week :) will be here and in the comments then to. Thanks guys!
This EP was like Oh you don't like the writing? Ok...Mortal Kombat!¡!😅😅😅
Iraj! His name was Yord, and he was a person.
RIP Jeckie
Lol!!!
Hahaha! I know I feel bad about my boy Horde!
😤🗣 I Literally don't care what anyone says , The ACOLYTE has proven to be a Phenomenal series so far ‼️ And episode 5 just proved it even more , and now the Majority of NEGATIVE People , that's been talkin' a lot sh*t about the Show , wants to switch sides Lol Cringe
It really isn't. It's dreadfully written, edited and acted. However, this episode was reasonably well done. It should have happened earlier in the series.
@DrewMack-tv8oz FACTS ‼️ 💯
Aside from only a few peeps the fans like Qmir and Sol who are the only solid/good parts of this series so far
just wanna say thanks boyz..for not jumping on the hate train with this show.worth a sub for sure.
i have been enjoying this show so far...some real deep cut lore in here if ya old boy like me and had to read to get ya starwars fix.
his helmet and bracer are made of a metal that sorts out sabers but is shit for everything else.cant rember the name.
great work ..keep it up
*shorts out sabers*
Thanks so much for the kind words and thanks for giving us a shot. We enjoy watching these franchises that we love, good or bad it’s always a plus for us to be able to watch as friends. Loves this episode, can’t wait to see where this takes us.
become more certain that he is Pladgius, Palpatin's teacher
"You're with me, I'm with you
Always one, but born as two
As above sits the stars, and below lies the sea,
I give you you, and you give me me"
--Mae & Osha's mantra
They are two sides of the same coin, bound by the Thread.
The power of many."
--Witches of Brendok's mantra
That has to mean something, and it likely explains why Anakin has a very high midichlorian count.
@@SithList I always enjoy your reactions. Happy you liked my take on where this might be headed.
I would be good with him being classified as a dark jedi in the end.
lightning isn't common even for sith.
And yeah I know it screws up legends but what doesn't anymore?
🤯 That would be insane! I’m so down though.
@@TimSedai Right! 😂
Or perhaps Darth Tenebrous? plagueis’s Master ?
Or Darth Venamus the failed apprentice
I love the consistency in the acolyte especially character motivations and choices.

@TheSithList on episode 3 there’s a theory during the ceremony behind the mother witches is a mysterious sith figure in black robes that doesn’t show his face could be plagues or his master or smilo ren and not one of the witches and when the Jedi came he was gone
Thanks for this info!!! I just saw the figure in black!!! How crazy. It would be so cool if it turns out to be someone big. Thanks som much. 🙏
@TheSithList even I think the witches and smilo ren are followers of abeloth cuse of the black eyes and smile grin like abeloth I bet they worship her
@TheSithList and smilo ren has cracked lines on his mask like kylo ren without the glowing that why it broke in half maybe it was fixed by the same person or same material
@@lion4611 that’s very interesting. That theme is in there for a reason !
WOW! What a amazing episode!!
It was very “
“Game of Thrones “ trying to get you invested in a few of the Jedi characters & then violently kill them off .. You’d think our furry tracker friend would know straight away the sister switch
So true,Very GOT! I think Basil knows but Yorde had mentioned, there are few that know the language.
RIP X-23 😞
RIP!!!
Cut out every other episode before this & this show is a solid 5/10 ❤
Fax all the episodes combined it's like a 3.25/10

Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy the rest as well. Darth Tenebrous would be craziness!!!
Wow!!!!!!!🤯
Because if this episode
I forgive Disney
Theres a new hope after all
No, they're already ruined what Star Wars was.
At least Disney FINALLY spent some money on a decent fight coordinator. This is 1000% better than Asohka.
I seriously cried guys.😢Thanks for getting this up so quickly. Great reaction & quick review.
That was a tough one. Thanks for the kind words!
Well said!!! 👏
Qimir is not a sith i repeat he is not a sith. he said the jedi "MIGHT" call him sith but he is not for he has no name. every sith is given a name by a sith master. palpatine gave anakin his name Vader.
Great point!!!
The parent trap 2024 !😂
Oh damn! Parent trap for sure!
why didn't Master Jedis from everywhere feel a disturbance in the force with Jedi being killed ...because remember The Force binds us it Connects us all everywhere
I thought the same thing afterwards! No way Yoda doesn’t feel that.
Always two there are
Of course Qimir knows its Osha, she has short hair, Mae had long. Dont make him an idiot. ;)
Lol, I think we made ourselves feel like idiots more than Qimir!
Jecki was a real one, went out like a warrior. Yord was a casualty waiting to happen. How did he get a yellow lightsaber? Not worthy
Totally agree! Jecki was a G!
The big bad is gonna be Mother Koril.
You guys rule. Been watching along since the KRT appearance days. thanks for getting this up so quick.
Appreciate that so much!!!! 🙏 I try to get it out ASAP! What an episode.
Thanks for sticking with us!!!
Of course Qimir knows. Mae has (had) long hair and no arm tattoo, for starters
I very much so think qimir knows its osha, the camera lingered on her tattoo, he would know that she doesnt have maes tattoo and has a different onenom her arm
Totally agree. He knows and I think he’s going to see if she will make a better Acolyte than her sister did.

🤯
Why didnt dart vader use cortosis?
Good point
Bc it's extremely rare. It is also illegal to possess, however, not that it matters for the empire. I'm sure it's a thousand times rarer than Beskar. 👍👍
Palpatine intentionally gave him old cybernetics and suit to keep him at Bay.
Again no story advancement. And no mystery
the writing takes away from all the fighting there is no weight to this story at all and it is now just sad that we have to pick through all this crap to find any good points
there was no story
You noticed it was jus Blade 2 amount of fight scenes
The fight choreography was pretty dope, but there are just so many stupid plot holes the writers keep making.
Sol being out of the initial action, Yord suddenly running again after his leg was hit, the flashlight bugs flying off with the Sith. All of this stuff was written for flashy fights but not an actual feasible plot. Its just fan service at this point with no real cohesive storyline.
I HOPE the twist is that Ki Adi turns out to be a liar or that nobody actually gets to report back to the High Council that a Sith is running around.
You probably seen about 10 mins of action total the rest was bad dialogue
This episode was proof that the series is very bad, as it only got good now when the Sith (great actor) killed the bunch of boring and uninteresting characters that covered 4 damn episodes, but I mention that the episode is excellent, the fights They're great and so are the Sith's dialogues, I hope it continues like this from now on
Fascinating that throwing a lightsaber fight into a poorly written show with regularly poor acting can make fans overjoyed... If only because the visuals were finally impressive enough to overcome the weak dialogue. If I'd come to care about any of these characters it would've made an impression.
This show continues to be dumb. So damn bad
1/10 for breaking lore
Excitement in the air. What are they talking about? Have they seen the previous reviews?
I was taking about dinner, we were having chicken Parm and it smelled phenomenal.
