I like that he gave honest answers. Didn’t appear at all to be bullshitting or trying to impress. That’s the sign of a confident person, and an intelligent person. He’s knows what his weaknesses are, he knows what he has to do. If he can put it all together, he’ll be a very good middle pairing defender. And who knows, maybe he ends up as a guy that balances well with a guy like Sandy on the top pair. You never know.
A few insiders reported that he said something along the lines of “the team that drafts me better know I play my style”. Could be true or false but he does have a cocky attitude in his pressers so who knows!
Yah. You can't teach offense, intensity, and size. You can teach improved skating and defense. For me the question mark is his hockey IQ as a defender. But even if he's only meh at that, he could still be a #4 with his other tools and improvements to skating and defense.

Ross way over the top on Sogaard.... this is his 5th season in the AHL.... if this year or next he's not NHL ready...he never will be.

@@PeterDrakeI’d hope he’s better than a number 4 defenceman. He should be a 2 or 3 if his development goes well.

I don't like this management team, feels like this team has been taking multiple steps back this off season. I guess time will tell
