(outdated) Condition Quickness Herald | 29.862 - June 27th patch

Read below how quickness on Herald now functions.

No actual dps or rotation difference since last patch, but the quickness application is entirely different and requires a new opener.
If you had this geared before the patch, I recommend keeping your setup!
It's important to use the elite skill around halfway into Glint, the F2 can be done whenever, but we do still have the passive boon duration when it is pulsing of course.
The quickness is tied to an internal timer (3 seconds) that checks if you are above the upkeep threshold, and the timer never stops meaning you will at random have to wait 0-3 seconds before quickness is applied once you have enough upkeep going.
This is extremely annoying (and seems like a last-minute effort to me), meaning there's some 'RNG' to it. Likewise, when you swap legends and temporarily have no upkeep, you might miss an application of quickness.
The solution? Add a ton of boon duration I guess. With the previous 25% build it was quite comfortable and mostly not an issue, but with 15% I found it to be consistent enough as long as I made no mistakes.
Additionally, we have lost our full power of sharing boons to the party. Herald can no longer be a strong source of might, and we can't even maintain fury or protection properly. If you need a lot of that, consider taking Assassin's Presence or playing a different build.
This is truly the worst way the specialization could have gone, as there is no longer any identity to Herald. Enjoy your quickness.
I use two maces to allow for swap sigils, as a Revenant these will proc both on Legend swap and Weapon swap, and should be used in that order. Do not swap too fast or you will not trigger both sigils.
If you want to bring a different weapon set, keep the Doom/Torment sigils.

Do you recomend the old all celestial build still? or is it not as viable now

Depends what you're using it for, it's good for solo stuff though
