- Creating stunning custom headers is easy with OceanWP & Elementor. Learn how to do it (and screw it up) in this detailed tutorial.
Get Elementor Pro: madlemmings.com...

Awesome that someone can make a tutorial for others while learning it themselves ...
Now we can ALL make the same mistakes together!!
I did learn a couple things tho, thanks!
Just so you know, the free version of Elementor no longer has a menu widget available so you may want to update that.
Good to know, thanks for the info (it was pretty crappy anyway I thought)
Thanks a lot for this.
Can we build a new header for all pages over the old header? Thank you.
Thank you.
How about a mobile menu?
Yeah on mobile this whole header would look weird
New to WordPress, I'm just trying to change the links to say something else, how do I do that?
unfortunately i couldnt set the background of the hightlighting an item on the menu, nor any of the extra goodies the menu of oceanwp gives
How does Elementor 2.0 change all of this?
Indeed it does. Elementor 2.0s new options to change most of the theme makes this kinda redundant. Unfortunately I can't update videos on youtube.
Holy fuck, those glasses! 🤣😆😆
And how easily does it work with woocommerce assuming you have Elementor Pro?
have not tried it, sorry
Thank you so much! But how do I get my new custom header to appear on the home page?!
In the Customizer, In > header > general is a dropdown called Style, there is a Custom Template option. Then if you have created the header in the templates section it should be in the next list that appears. Hope that helps.
Thanks Ashley. I actually have a website!
awesome! exciting times ahead :>
Hi Ashley, so is there still a step to add the shortcode or smth?
you are better off using the elementor pro templating, way easier
All due respect, but it would be nice if you either knew what you were doing, or edited out all the stuff that went wrong and had to be redone.
Perfection is the goal. Working on it.
Todd Dawson that's the problem with every tutorial out there! So many things can go wrong, and it doesn't work the way it looks in the tutorial. Very frustrating when learning. I'd love to see the pitfalls, because I'll always find them! Glad he left that first faux pas in there!
@@AnitaLife27 we all work more or less for free, so yeah. what can I say.
How can i add a costum icon above the menu navbar section like this website? henryschein.com
so it wasn't custom??? ,,,,, you used elemnetor. i dislike wordpress, ;-)
