- OceanWP theme allows you to easily create your own mega menu. In this video I share my recent experience using it for a client and give you all the details to build your own mega menu with no plugins.

Nice Tut Ash, I got a question, how would I adjust the width of the mega menu, I'm trying to reduce the width. The auto reduces the width but doesn't center itself under the menu bar.

1. how could I get mega menu options in the wordpress menu if I'm using OceanWP thems. do I need to download any plugin for it? if it's the name of the plugin please.

Hey Ashley, Great video. Thanks, got most of my confusions cleared out. Is it possible to have 8-9 categories and subcategories nested in one dropdown, as i have seen there is only 6 categories possible and that too only one level. What if we want it 4 categories (with 6-7 subcategories below it) in one level/row and 4 categories in another level/row in same drop down ?
This is more a Wordpress question. You can add links to categories in your menus, just remember you have to split things up at the top level as I described. For the rest, you should be able to do whatever (in terms of links per menu, submenu within mega menu) that you want. However, without sitting next to you I cannot be 100% sure I understood the question, but think so. Download it and try, even on a test site, Should be quick to test.

Hi! At first it worked, but after a few days I went to add more more mega menu with columns and that option disappeared !! And it was getting so beautiful, now I don't know what to do!
Did you ever figure out how to edit the size/text of the menu items? That is my issue at moment.

Everything you mention is correct and can be done. But can you disable the hover in the titles column I, II and III so they just appear as titles ? because if they react to hover than it seams clicable although it's not because it is a custom link, but people see that hover reaction and think it is clicable. I am trying to find a way and even remove the title completly and leave only a title widget but still I have to give a name to the custom link that will always appear.
How do you make a dropdown menu within the dropdown menu? Is that not possible
Thank you for your video. I had implemented this and it had worked quite well. I then tried to combine it with the custom header tutorial, using a template. I guess that doesn't work, since then I'm using elementor. Anyway to get the best of both worlds?

Hi all, is there any way to have all the mobile menu items open (no accordion) on the mobile sidebar. I have a menu item called 'Portfolios' and I want the contents to be visible when the hamburger is clicked.
my hamburger menu is not working when clicking it on mobile but working when checking it in the preview , what can be the issue?

I would like my menu to be centered on the page. I use Divi and the primary menu default is upper right. I loaded Mega Menu thinking I would have more options such as centering on the page (not centering text in the field!). Any thoughts about how to do this?
Look up OceanWP Custom Header video. They show just that. I needed something else explained and found this video next. Not sure if you figured it out yet, but if anyone else is looking there is a OceanWP video for that. Theme Panel> My Library > Add New.> Elementor Canvas> Then edit with elementor Again look for the video for better description
can you please make one more video about how to add a photo or a button more in depth and details for mega menu. i know im good in oceanwp theme and elementor and with designing sites. but i just never used a code. so it will be really great if you clear this out. and thank you by the. really useful video.
Hi Mohammed, that is actually not really a mega menu thing specifically. It is a widget topic. So, there are probably already dozens of videos on how to add an image or button in a wordpress widget. That is all you need to do. Then set which widget area is to be used in the mega menu column (like I showed in the video).

Great that this feature is baked into Ocean WP - however it looks fiddly and not very refined.

I believe it has a setting in header/menu mobile where you choose at what pixel width it appears. So you can then set that it does not appear til say 768px which is Tablet size
