Actually, I'm 95% sure the anti-living being bomb is used again when the Separatists attack Dathomir. Also, for the Repbulic's Ion Bomb, it also affects their vehicles, and caused a massive earthquake
Fun facts: the 2 pilots of the lead Y-Wing, Goji and Rod are designed after Godzillia and Rodan, also the surviving trouble that went into the sinkhole with Mace and Ponds is Trapper, the wounded clone that was with Obi-Wan during the second battle of Geonosis.
I did some calculations. And the droid army here consists of formations that has 10 long x 15 wide formations of B1 battle droids with the same number of B2s behind it. Equaling 150 B1s and 150 B2s. Behind each of these are 8 LR-57 Combat droids. This line is flanked by 5 4-legged variants of the LM-432 crab droids. In the shots of the Y-Wing bombers closing in above the army, we can see that this pattern is repeated 6 times, and we can even see that the crab droids are on the final end of that formation, but only on the left side (compared to the droid's direction) and not on the end of that 6 patterned formation on the right. This would total 900 B1s, 900 B2s, 48 LR-57s and 30 crab droids. With 24 AAT tanks (I think) behind. Then this line is repeated 4 times next to one another, bringing the total up to 3600 B1s, 3600 B2s, 192 LR-57s, 120 Crab droids and 96 AAT tanks. But this gigantic line of droids is ALSO repeated 3 times behind one another, bringing the total amount of battle droids up to 10'800 B1s, 10'800 B2s, 576 LR-57s, 360 Crab droids and 288 AAT tanks. Included in this estimate would be at least 1 Tactical droid, 4 NR-N99 Persuader-class droid tanks, 5 DSD1 Dwarf Spider droids, and a number of Hyena bombers and Vulture droids. If we are brave, we could also include the 287 remaining OOM Commander battle droids or AAT driver droids per AAT, as well as 288 OOM Pilot battle droids or AAT driver droids for these tanks and an additional 576 B1 battle droids operating as the gunners for the 288 AATs.
It's interesting, because despite being very similar as opposites, I think the anti-living bomb and the anti-droid bomb are actually representing two different things. I think the anti-living bomb is actually supposed to be more representative of chlorine gases and similar chemical warfare used in WW1, because it's a rapid spreading gas (fire) which kills those who aren't on the right side (without a gas mask). The electro-proton bomb, however, is absolutely 100% an allusion to nuclear weapons, and in fact the entire episode is a clear reference to Godzilla, even down to the name "Zillo" beast. Just like in Godzilla, this weapon of mass destruction causes the awakening of the beast.
@searchbloc.ios.2714 Yeah cause it isn't like star wars doesn't parallel real life war or events. Like say the empire mimicking nazis and stormtroopers having a real life inspiration in the WW1 stormtroopers used by the German empire. No its just surface level big booms and scary bad guys
In my opinion The Bad Batch has some great moments and is the closes thing to clone wars we have got. But it defiantly is more childish and sometimes down right laughable.
Just a quick information. The weapon that only destroys organoc life was commonly used by the seperatist afterwards. You can see this weapon being used on the nightsisters in season 3 or 4
Ah, I know why the writing is back to front on the Ion Detonator! When you make a 3D model, you have to separate the mesh (the physical model) into 2D shapes so that you can add textures to them - this is called UV mapping. Now, when you make a model that is symmetrical, you can actually get away with doing just one UV island (UV Shape) for two identical shapes, which would result in this mirrored text that you're seeing. This means, on the other side of the detonator, the writing would be the correct way around. Think of it this way, you've made a 3D model of a clone trooper. You want his arms to have the same markings, so you just UV both arms to be the same UV islands rather than have to texture both arms separately. I've not explained it will, but I have tried :)
You should do the arc with the organic matter destroyer. Also some Star Wars Rebels Arcs. Also a cool thing I thought about was: Empire: Mandalorian Armor Disintegrator (AT-DP) Republic: Droid Ion Bomb Separatists: Organic Matter Disintegrator
Oh, I bet the reasoning for the backwards lettering on the ion bomb and in other episodes is because this is probably a mirrored video. Who’s to say that when they made this episode that someone walking from the right to the left of the screen now walks from left to right etc. Kind of like a selfie.
8:30 In movies and shows, whenever a fight between 2 factions is depicted, the good guys are shown coming from the left while the bad guys come from the right My guess is the animators made the ship come from the right at first then mirrored the shot in post and just hoped no one could read it
Figures YT would refuse to suggest you UNTIL I see someone review another classic show. Boy that makes me mad, I wish I'd come across you sooner. And your little character is so adorable!
3:20 That’s actually not true, Grevious used the defoliator tank(the one that only effects organics) in the episode massacre against Ventress on Dathomir
Actually the defoliator (the tank that shot bombs on the monkey planet) did appear again in the clone wars tv series. In the episode “massacre” it was used on Dathomir when the droids were trying to kill Mother Talzin and Asajj Ventress. It was shot twice then got blown up by a C.I.S tank controlled by Ventress.
I love how they give a homage to the iconic maser tanks in the zillo beast episode, seeing that made me happy because I love old japanese science fiction and seeing an old old old old super old weapon show up in star wars is like NO F***N WAY
Hi Michael! I was watching your Order 66 video, and noticed that during the recording, when Anakin is fighting a Jedi master, they trade lightsaber colors for a moment, Anakins goes from blue to green and the masters goes from green to blue
It returns in The Bad Batch, with the reason they detained the Zillo Beast was to make Armor for a new type of clone. The special Clones of Project Necromancer aka "Some how Palpatine returned"
The strange phasing through rocks is caused by post-processing motion blur rather than in-render motion blur. It's a lot faster to do, but it doesn't always go right.
Letters are in reverse because some or all of the scenes were mirrored, maybe shot looks better like that idk or! This originaly could be mirrored from that, but because it would mean that they wpuld fly from right to left of the screen, and in films etc. Good guys go from left to right because that is the movement that we are used to do with our eyes because of reading, and right to left, not natural move for our eyes means that there are bad guys and we dont really need to focus on them.
reusing clips make sense, sometimes you ran out of time to get extra shots or it's probably just money-saving. It goes by so fast we don't usually pay mind to.
People who has the chance to grow up when the clone war came out, and watched the bad batch as adults were very lucky. I would have loved they had put out a cartoon like this when "Star Wars" came out when I was young (8) in 1977. It's very well done cartoon. And in my opinion, the best thing that they did with Star Wars in the 10 lasts years. Yeah I'm that old.
i know its been almost a year at this point and hopefully you revisited the 2nd battle of geonosis (the one where ahsoka and barris sneak into the factory) but those super tanks actually use those anti-life bombs.
7:57 In Aurabesh, mirrored letters represent uppercase letters, but that wouldn't make too much sense in this scene, because the word is still backwards. A fully Capital word in Aurabesh would still be left to right. What i think happened is they rendered the scene already, and then in post production they mirrored the shot.
With the clone that you couldnt see his head, i think the black circle was his hair, then his head would be slumped on the side of the turret, which makes sense
do the battle from s1 e13 jedi crash (the arc with the monkey people you mentioned), i forget the planet but the opening battle is so good. the blue sky and clouds are so beautiful, it actually looks like it’s on earth
I can't remember the episode but it's the one where there transporting dutchess satine to corusant and get attacked by those assausn droids. That one would be nice
Actually, I'm 95% sure the anti-living being bomb is used again when the Separatists attack Dathomir. Also, for the Repbulic's Ion Bomb, it also affects their vehicles, and caused a massive earthquake
Ye, they did to burn out the witches
Is that why that ion bomb was never used again?
Dravejr I was going to say the same thing
Your right I remember that
@@twistedyogert Probably. Maybe it was developed further as time went on, but the kinks couldn’t be worked out properly.

Yes they did.
yup, i think thats the only other time we see it though
Yep, and I think they used multiple shells. Honestly, this weapon is also really good to be used when removing large chunks of vegetation.
One of the 3 grevious Ws in TCW 😔
Yup

Bad batch season one is really good. You love the characters AND THEN SEASON FUCKING TWO RIPS IT ALL AWAY FROM YOU AND MAKES YOU HURT
8:53 "I'll try spinning, that's a good trick!"
Commander Ponds flexing his muscles while all the other clones go to therapy
I’m pretty sure this was his robotic hand (he got his hand cut off from Attack of the Clones) 10:16

you need to watch the bad batch in 0.25x speed
8:00 backwards characters mean it's a capital letter in aurabesh, it's just written in all caps.
Back nearly a year later, Bad batch finale had one!
I think the black part of the “beheaded clone” is actually his hair

The droid bomb was also seen in the nightsisters vs Grevious and his army. Also would love to see a video on that battle to 👍👍

Thanks I’ve been hoping you would do this one.
This is my favourite Ark of the clone wars especially when it gets released on coruscant
It returns in The Bad Batch, with the reason they detained the Zillo Beast was to make Armor for a new type of clone.
The special Clones of Project Necromancer aka "Some how Palpatine returned"
This is my favorite arc!!! So funny and creative.
14:49 I LOVED PLAYING RANCOR RAMPAGE WHEN I WAS LITTLE OMG, THAT GAME WAS SO GAS!

A fight that is forgotten is the battle on Dathomir
In Force Unleashed 2, Malastare was mentioned. Think of how great it’d be if Starkiller faced against it while picking Kota!
He has returned finally .... great vid
3:19 we've seen Grevious using the defoliator against nightsisters
Bro why is clone wars SO good seriously
I think the Clones showing through the rocks might just be an artefact of the way they did the motion blur back then.
i know its been almost a year at this point and hopefully you revisited the 2nd battle of geonosis (the one where ahsoka and barris sneak into the factory) but those super tanks actually use those anti-life bombs.
I always assumed the Zillow beast was used to create the ATAT armor in Ep5 cause it was impenetrable.
I love your stuff!!❤
Bad Batch is alright, it gets better through the seasons but i feel like it doesnt reach the level that clone wars has.
I find it hilarious that the republic's EMP bomb creates a giant shockwaves, dust clouds, and creates craters.
Please do the battle of geonosis, as in not the arena battle or the landing at point rain. But with the separatist army trying to flee geonosis :)
Defaliator (or how it was called) also was used on Dathomir
Zillo beast apperars in Bad batch season 2!!!
This is the content I subbed for

He’s a gunner, their helmets are brown/goldish. Which is why it’s hard to see
7:47 Seems they just mirrored the scene because they thought it would look better, and didn't pay any attention to the script.
We saw the separatist weapon in the Dathomir arc in season 4.
"Ah, shut up, Kosmos."
6:20 I noticed in one Harry Potter film footage reuse!
8:18 it is spelled backwards because that is hiw you symbolize capital letters in aurebesh
Alright if were getting into the Kaiju of Star Wars you should do the Krayt Dragon episode!
I have a request for after the next video ‘I watched the Kessel run at .025 speed’ it may not be that interesting but eh who knows

Yo Michael! Would you ever do slow mo reactions to the LOTR battles?
I know right. The Battle of Helms Deep would be dope!
First!? Also big fan of the channel ❤
You need to sell a shirt that says “I forgot these were in this battle.”
THis clone Wars episode came out 4 months and 7 days before I was born 😅
capital aurebesh letters are backwards so the bomb said “CAUTION ION DETONATOR” instead of, “caution ion detonator”
I just rewatched the zilla beast episode too
The 2002 clone wars, any episode would be good in slo-motion
Can you please do the citadel arc
Clonetrooper goji needed more scenes.
I can't remember the episode but it's the one where there transporting dutchess satine to corusant and get attacked by those assausn droids.
That one would be nice
I can’t believe how many people talk about the clone pilot who is made to drop the bomb
Omg playing as any creature in Star Wars would be so Fun
The writtings is in revers in case it dosent explod it would stand up in the ground and be readebel
15:10 It can survive in space with no oxigen?
We saw the separatist bomb again, in the night sister massacre episode
In the Lego clone wars game they give the Zillow beast a pacifier after the bring it down
Hey I think y the in the blasts don’t appear is because the phase 1 clone trooper armor had better protection than the phase 2
For michael jae anikans robotic hand malifunktions
We did saw the droid fire bomb again when general grievous slaughtered the nightsisters
the era with the malevolence
Can you do more Star Wars?
maybe "caution ion detonator" is backwards because of how some aliens vision is reversed
they were carrying droid parts away to sell for money alot of the droids were easily fixed and im sure a super battle droid sells for alot
if we are beeing honest, CW is not rly a kids show, they dont get all th politic talk and stuff, but a kid can still watch it i guess
If you aren't watching these videos at half speed you are missing out.
Can you please watch the Holocron arc and your videos are very cool
Kosmos had Arc trooper potential
You should do the next episode Rampage
can you do an avengers battle in slo mo???
The droids have backwards reading.
They used defoliators on Dathomeir
For a kids show, these episodes were very dark imo
I remember it George Takei was the evil general.
The cis bomb was used on the nightsisters
George Lucas got the idea of the zilo beast from Godzilla
