- Rapper Denzel Curry opens for Billie Eilish with a blistering cover of "Bulls on Parade" by Rage Against The Machine. The original appeared on RATM's 1996 album Evil Empire. Recorded live in concert at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, CA on May 29, 2019. Joining him onstage is DJ Poshtronaut (a/k/a Mr. B the Poshtronaut), formerly of the hip hop group Metro Zu.
Bulls on Parade lyrics:
Come with it now!
Come with it now!
The microphone explodes, shattering the molds
Either drop the hits like de la O or get the fuck off tha commode
With tha sure shot, sure ta make the bodies drop
Drop an don't copy yo, don't call this a co-op
Terror rains drenchin', quenchin' tha thirst
Of tha power dons, that five sided Fist-a-gon
The rotten sore on tha face of Mother Earth gets bigger
The trigger’s cold, empty your purse
Rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
Weapons, not food, not homes, not shoes
Not need, just feed the war cannibal animal
I walk tha corner to tha rubble, that used to be a library
Line up to the mind cemetery now!
What we don't know keeps the contracts alive and movin'
They don't gotta burn tha books, they just remove 'em
While arms warehouses fill as quick as the cells
Rally round tha family, pocket full of shells
Rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
They rally 'round the family with a pocket full of shells
Lyrics by Zack de la Rocha; music written by Tom Morello, Zack de la Rocha, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk.

This generation needs the Rage.
Darryl get fucked, boomer
-a sensitive snowflake
its zack jeez the generation stereotypes are getting out of hand. MUHLENNIELS R FRAGILE , BOOMERS R OUT OF TOUCH. fucking stupid
no apple millennials*
RATM and SOAD tried to warn us what was coming
@@darrylh547 You were the kind of person they were raging against.
Even the security guards are into it lol
I've done security for concerts before. The yellow shirts "security" is usually just temp workers looking for weekend work lol So basically you're getting paid to go to a concert. It's pretty lit depending on what concert you work, except for you have to stand all day for like 16 hours and deal with shitty people usually
You know the crowd is lame when security is going harder than anyone in the audience
Lmao what do u expect at a billie eilish concert
Bet you it was the only song he knew the whole night 😂
@@justinroyol2090 he was opening for Billie Eilish, so different fanbase lol. That's fine though nothing wrong wit that
It's a young crowd that probably never heard Rage before
I'm glad he's performing it live, he completely fucking nailed that song at Like A Version.
If Zach retires or something pass the reigns to this dude
zack is pretty much done to my understanding since like 2000 but they did a few reunions after that. I would be entirely ok with Denzel fronted rage tho
Lol if you could only see into the future from the time you posted you comment...
Miles Fagan this aged well
Clump wait what’s the news?
@@AIXONA They are going on a reunion tour this year.
man he kills this i've become a denzel curry fan from a metal head to also listening to his rap
Hes probably one of the only rappers that can bring that energy that metal typically has
Same. I heard his name thrown around and videos I never clicked on...Im a simple man I see a rapper covering RATM, I click. I fucking wish he would start a side project. Rock could really use a man like him in this political climate. Now ive listened to his hip hop....this guy is serious force.
He is the king my friend
@@darkersideofta13oo9him and zillakami
God I hope metal and heavier influences make their way back into the mainstream. Stuff like this makes me happy cause I’m hoping more people will get into metal sounds
A lot of trap artist have metal influences, Denzel, Ghostemane, SCARLXRD, $uicide boy$
@@paulobarrios3829 Even as a huge Ghoste fan, he doesn’t really correspond to to classic type metal
But you did say metal influence so yes you’re right, who am I even arguing against.
There’s hope!!! Korn did a remix with HEALTH and Danny Brown
@@Phightins HEALTH and Danny Brown aren't particularly mainstream themselves though.
I always wanted to do this Denzel is living my dream
Dudes stage presence is immaculate
I can only imagine what the ppl at his show thought of it lol but his voice is literally perfect for this
Except for the youngins that don't know wtf goin on
@@jhollowz69 except the youngins don't listen to Denzel or Rage because they're too focused and trap.
Idk if you've noticed but the majority of Curry's fans are pretty cultured and educated.
HIs shows have insane energy and he has pits and shit when I saw him so nothing too out of the ordinary. Something like Ultimate has similar energy from a performance/hype standpoint.
@@Zimmer_YT Uh ok, I'm a "youngling" and RATM is my favorite band of all time. Not everyone in the same generation listens to the same music but go off on your little rant.
@@jhollowz69 you saying "youngins" immediately invalidates your opinion.
RATM is one of the greatest bands of all time but there are also rappers that are some of the best artists of all time. Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp A Butterfly is the greatest album of all time, ahead of OK Computer, MF DOOM's + Madlib's Madvillainy is a top 5 album of all time, Nas's Illmatic is a top 10 album of all time, I could go on and on.
Bet that the 70% of the crowd didn't even know this song
0:54 Security going for it
This dude born in 95
I love how this sounds almost like a duet between Denzel and ZDLR
Where is the mosh pit
It's a Billie Ellish show what do you expect?
dcpunk4 that’s what I was wondering🤔🤔
looks FAR too packed to try and form one, or they might be banned in this venue. its not an outside field. And the divider in the middle makes it even harder to form a pit.
@YoStefan there are over 7,000 languages in the world and you chose to speak facts
gen z doesn’t omos what that is
I feel like denzel has the talent to make an RATM type album
WOW!!!
heaviest version of this song I ever heard, amazing!
The crowd definitely wasn't ready for that
You just know he’s listened to rage for years 😂
I just can’t stop listening
Lol this guy knows who the crowd for billie eilish is so he chooses this song to play for them and sounds more unhinged then the original video😂
*TRUE*
Bet rage invite him on stage at redding and Leeds
yes ive already told my friends this!
Ay it’s gonna be cancelled tho cos of corona
Absolute epic cover.
GODDAM
This needs to be played at Rolling Loud at least a couple times or with RATM 😢🔥
Amazing!!!!!!!
Sooooo sick
This is the best version
man,,,that energy in his voice holy shit!
I love that hes helping build the bridge between metalheads and rap, the two genres have more similarities than some old heads would like to admit. Especially in the messages, so long as you listen to rappers like curry.
They just don’t know rage against the machine
He’s so good
wow.
Here’s hoping he plays this at Outbreak Fest 2023, that crowd will go mental for sure 🤘🏻
he needs to play this to a crowd that actually has the balls to make a pit!
THIS GOES SO FUCKING HARD WHEN ITS LIVE WITH A CROWD
infinite
Whoooaaaa
The only people who know this song are the headbangers in the front right
I would go to this fucking show, this looks fun as hell
It’s a crime that Rage was such a short lived band
Whatcha mean, bub? They've been active 16 years and counting.
They said all they needed to say with 3 albums
@@Ismael-kc3ry*4 albums. Renegades (covers album) went pretty hard. especially How I Could Just Kill a Man!
❤️🔥🤘
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The dude's a rockstar
Denzel is a fucking god
Zach can just pass the mic to denzel. "you take over for the next 10 years" and i would support that. just keep the message of the machine in the conversation.
The energy and passion in his voice is out of this world. I'm a ratm fan, but he absolutely annihilated Zach de la Rocha with his performance of this song, Denzel brought much more ferocity than Zach ever could. Here's to hoping he makes a full album covering ratm songs. He'd own them all 100%.
I would hack off my left arm for Rage to tour with Denzel instead of Zack
no not at all he has the original song backing him up zack is more power full coz of his mindset
@@nkvd1606 no i would not do that be great coz his got thge voice and stuff but has he got the mindset of zack i dont know the personality makes the music
METALHEAD666777 dude, you know denzel curry is more popular than ratm right.. maybe you dont know cuz your music taste is just rock/metal.
METALHEAD666777 look man I get it, your a metal head, doesn’t mean you gotta be a meat head tho. You’re on this video cause you wanted to watch it, you know who Denzel is. Your just tryna seem pompous acting like your music taste is superb even though me, and countless others, have probably listened to all the bands you’ve listened to, plus more, cause we have a broad and ever expanding taste in music. I don’t mean this as a diss to you but you seem like a one track kinda guy and that ain’t respectable. Even if your a rebel, rebelling doesn’t mean to be a jackass and act like your cool.
This gotta be the lamest crowd. He killed it 🔥🔥🔥
If there was one rapper that could be a rock guy it would be Denzel
This denzel's version is better than newest voc from RATM
Oof that must have been sick live
wack crowd, apart from the guy in the yellow shirt!
even the security is jamming
RATM + DAS EFX = Denzel Curry
we need a collab
Ahahah looks like kids didnt enjoy that part of the show 😅
Fuck them kids
Kevin Lbr as a 17 yr old ID KILL to have seen this LIVE. I love RATM
Kevin Lbr Raps not only for kids and different people like different things
K Lbx yes they did you shit lick
Nah, they were just stupefied and amazed by the awesomeness 😂
this is fucking dope as shit!

ballsy to play this while opening for Billie eilish.
the security is singing haha

Do caralho porra 🤘🤘🤘🤘🇧🇷
Littlerly like 6 people head banging, 23 are like "yeah this cool". then the rest are like "dude wtf"
Those poor Billie Eilish kids lmao. Probably crying to this day.
Did you happen to get the song "Zuu" ??
Sorry, I shot only one other video of his set ("Ultimate"), which I will post.
Damn I just seen him perform in Minneapolis I was gonna record ultimate zuu ult wish and his x tribute but I got too hyped up lmao
The original vocals are in the mix 😢
I was do disapointed when I realized there was no live band
Denzel Curry is too talented for this rap industry today. This is his style he is killing it. Also he doesn’t need tattoos and drugs to be *cool*
Triple j like a version
THIS is a “rage beat”
this song needs a live band for live performance, not track. Still Good vocals
Bro live?! Every note tho…
such a shame he wasted this on a Billie Eilish crowd, nobody even knew the song besides the security guards, should’ve done it at his own concert or while opening for literally anyone else
Daniel Douenias Yes they would.
I'm edging closer to my 40s at this point and even I have more faith in the youth than this. Hearing this is going to be a big change in many kid's worlds the way it was in the mid 90s when I heard it and all I knew before was pop punk songs about girls. The kids are gonna be all right.
Oh yeah young people should never hear new music from different genres, shut up you fucking degenerate
L crowd. Denzel kills it.
g eazy
LMAO the original song is just playing on the back with Zach's voice and everything hahahahahah
Well yeah, what do you expect? He's opening for a pop act, he's not gonna turn up with a band for fucking Eilish.
He did a live session cover of this anyway, before this.
Eh...needs a live band...
Lmao almoat absolutely none of those kids who are there for billie emo eilish know that song. Its funny how the older looking security staff are headbanging to the song haha.

Dude I’m younger than 18 and my musical taste started on 90’s rock.
And it isn’t even a “I’m born in the wrong generation” thing. Tons of people are into more than just mainstream pop and rap.
Besides, if you want more people to like your music then any audience is the right audience.
It makes me sad how a good portion of the people there aren't reacting
