I'm always amazed at the size of your garden and what you have achieved. Not just the garden itself, but also the business. A true inspiration to us all.
Craig I would like to thank you and George and Kris for all your informative videos. You have a great store of really useful information to share. I am in my 80s and decided to go tropical much to my husbands disgust last year and it has been so interesting learning about plants new to me. We are in Hertfordshire and I have grown cannas from seed, and have a canna musifolia now flowering in October ( not from seed). Hope you are able to keep up the inspirational videos.
Thank you for your kind words Jill. Hearing feedback like yours is one of the most rewarding parts of sharing content online. My head is full of ideas so hopefully I will be sharing for a long time to come 😁
Superb video Craig. Some really great suggestions I've taken note of. I've watched all your stuff from the start. Great to see you doing so well and the garden is looking fab 👌
At least Brassaiopsis are hard to find in the UK, in NL it seems impossible haha. But you gave me so much other great tips I really don't mind 😄 Who knows what I can trade in the future once I have more plants to trade with collectors
Your Rhus tree looks surprisingly similar to my Ailanthus Purple Dragon. At least the shape of the leaves and the way the branches split. The Ailanthus gained a lot of height in its first few years which I did not really foresee, but it really makes a great addition in a slightly larger garden, and also has this tropical appearance.
Great video Craig , and Thankyou very much for all the info that goes with it , you re doing an incredible job inn a small space , beautiful well kept healthy plants. Looks amazing. X Sylvie .x
Thank you for the advice; it's so good to know that you needn't keep buying new plants if you just divide the ones you have. I will be experimenting more with dividing plants in my little tropical garden this year.
Lovely tour Craig, as always everything is looking lush and I'm amazed at how much you've packed in! Those bromeliads definitely give it that otherworldly feel, very cool.
Fun watching this. I also have a small garden like yours crammed with tropical plants. I also have clay soil but shovelled sand and soil through it to make it more airier and this also raised the garden so it improved drainage. I also put drainage pipes in the soil to remove excess water.
Thanks Justin, there are so many ways to garden in clay soil. Lots of people are terrified of it. After 3 years of adding manure my soil is really rich now, perfect for the big leaved tropicals. 👍
Are there any tropical fruit trees that have done well in the UK weather in an open aired garden for example mangoes, sapodilla, cinnamon, achiote, date palms etc or common fruit plants such as passionfruits, chayote, papaya, dragonfruits, galangal, common ginger, turmeric, moringa, figs, achocha, banana plants to fruit ?

How a begonia luxurians can survive a winter in UK?
It can't, it HAS to be at least frost-free, probably around 12c to 15c minimum. Hope that helps you Lucio.
It is GREAT to see your whole garden and it looks fantastic!
So many plants new to me, thank you for introducing 😊
Beautiful garden
Absolutely love your garden ❤
Thanks so much 😊
What tree is that at 3:33 with the dark pink flowers ?

Beautiful and thanks for the plants I've purchased from you..they are all thriving, I especially love the colocasia aloha.
Loved the video! YOU WIN: I thought we had a cramped yard...!!! I came away with a few ideas for our yard in western Oregon USA. Thanks!
Haha, mine is certainly a squeeze 😁

If I ever win the lottery. I am buying you a house with a bigger garden

Craig that was a really fantastic tour of your beautiful garden, thanks so much for sharing.
Love your videos, very informative and I can learn a lot from you about plants. Thank you so much. You're my inspiration. :-)
I grow papaya trees from seeds every year. Easy to grow, large tropical leaves, 100s of seeds from 1 store bought fruit. Zone 8b.
When do you plant the seeds

Ailanthus are fantastic trees, I have seen them grow into giants! 👍😁

Hi Craig,
Do you sell the Pilea Taiwan silver plants from your shop?
A very informative vid keep up the great work😊

How do you clear the existing garden roots which are unwanted, so to grow tropical plants.
(You mentioned linking a few other videos, like the hardy aeonium. Did you do that? I cannot see a link but may be missing it.)
Absolutely amazing video as always, I really hope you carry on with them throughout Autumn/Winter, Thankyou 🌿🌿🌿🌿
So inspirational as usual. I love all the less than common plants.
Hi Craig,
Why do you grow so many plants in places where you can't see them?
Craig are you selling the purple sugarcane? Is it hardy? I would like to try this in my garden🙏🌿
Have you kept a piece of grass for your little dog to go out at night and pee or pooh on?
Sorry, where did you buy your sugarcane?
Hi is that a sugarcane behind you?
