You should definitely not have to pay extra for the exhaust. Why would they make an amg come without a sick exhaust?? That's like saying yeah you can buy this cheeseburger, you gotta pay extra for the meat though, do you want the meat? Uh... Yes. Who doesn't want the meat in a cheeseburger? Who doesn't want the performance exhaust in the highest performance spec of a car?

The big thing is since its a Mercedes the majority of Mercedes buyers are old so thats why this car can be had with or without the loud exhaust or stiff suspension and strangely you can option this car with wood trim ew

On the leasing/buying POV... I got my 2018 CLA45 1 year old with 6k miles. Talked them down to 40k... my take on cars NEVER buy knew. Let someone else take the depreciation off the lot. In my eyes I bought a brand new car for 40k that had a 61k sticker price. And the break in period was already taken care of😉

Sound of Arman actually no it’s very normal because I know a lot of my friends that own construction businesses and are DJ it’s a hobby they like their construction business is more to make money and the DJ is what they love and used to do before they owned a business
My dad has an S class, it's had that door handle locking and unlocking feature since 2008, 10 years ago! Crazy that they had that awesome tech in their cars so long ago while everyone catches up later. The stuff that first S class had was absurd, night vision camera that turned the cluster into a big night vision screen with the mph along the bottom looking like a battery meter filling up and going back down. Massage seats, remote control privacy screens on all rear windows, there was so much more I just don't remember it all/want to listen it all. He has a new S class now and it's insane, but it's just crazy to remember how nice and advanced the 2008 was. So ahead of it's time

Is leasing actually just as good as buying the car outright? I’m just curious I never had the thoughts of leasing a car. Do you get the option to buy it if you’re leasing?

How's that alcantara covered steering wheel holding up? I think they look great but I've been concerned about how well that material would hold up especially with sweat getting on it from your hands.
No issues so far, but I do make a conscious effort to be gentle with it and to never have dirty hands.
I like the "simpler" interior look, not over-hyped design that later tends not to age well.
Two things I do not like is the red seat belts (some trim models) and the silver trim on the wheels.
I think the 2018 engine pushes 380hp, while the pre-2015 do 355.

Plenty of cars are more expensive, so no. Anyone that knows cars would want an S63 / S65 AMG over this. Cars cost millions of dollars nowadays, so this is considered a budget car. How can an AMG have a 4 cylinder??? SMH
Bugatti, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Etc. AMG or not, a CLA 45 is extremely underwhelming nowadays. This is the type of car kids get for their first car where I live.

I own a 2010 w204 and thinking about trading in and getting a 2018 CLA45 Yellow Night Edition. What's your 2yr opinion on the car now in 2020?

The sound much better then 2020 but the look of the 2020 is amazing people will hate or say otherwise but I disagree the 2020 is the most beautiful 4 cylinder I ever seen and price also very reasonable starting I think 50 some k in Canada maybe 60 but it’s amazing car however if you add extra things to the car it will go up to 80k a lot of things don’t come with car which I don’t like when you go to Benz site you have to add all these features that should come with car anyways in Benz class I’ll wait 2 or 3 years and buy one cash for 30 or 35k they go down pretty fast so maybe in 2022 or 2023 I’ll get the cla will be half price and then that’s amazing value drive it 6 years sell it for like 15k no problem I’ll lose only 15k in 6 years which is nothing but yeah that’s why I like the new one looks amazing inside outside and the ride is very smooth I checked few videos about the cla before 2020 or 2019 and everyone said it’s not much of comfortable ride so 2020 will be my choice

I'm only 5'7. Front is fine, but back is a bit tight. It is a pretty small car for a 4 door so don't be fooled

No he didn't. He said it because usually AMG cars have 4 liter displacement like C or E class. It's a common mistake
KumRuzvalt93 the guy in the video probably just dont know much about his car and the e and c class only recently received 4.0 v8s before they have 6.2 and 5.5 l engines

I hate the auto start stop tech .. annoying auxilliary battery will die & you have to replace it .. am cool replacing the main battery every couple of years .. but replacing another which also costs from 50 to 170 US is really annoying

This car was off the lot - if you customize your own build it takes like 6 months or more to be assembled and shipped from Germany! Also they aren't very comfortable for longer drives. I agree they look amazing though!

My only problem is the packages that don’t come with car it’s ridiculous those are basic packages apple car play this and that I mean you can buy a 10 inch tablet from eBay for a car for dash tablet whatever you call it for 500$ and will have wifi amazing processor and tons of features android system Apple system so these screens cost nothing. For car companies like 100$ I don’t know now days and age should be added to every car it costs nothing 4200$ for small packages I said in my previews post you can buy 20k of packages on top of the price and it’s packages that should have been added without paying that much for a car with that price and class

Drove the CLA a few years back, and gave me the impression of being a cheap "poor man's Mercedes" poser car. But unexpectedly, the 2018 CLA45 is SOOOO much better, drives really well, and is actually quite a lot of car for the money...

+Paul Cotton Maybe I'm just spoiled. Before I drove the CLA 250, I've only ever owned and experienced C-Class and above saloons, so maybe it was the step-down that gave me such an impression. I've always liked it's looks, but thought it was cheap inside and out (I especially dislike its cost saving front wheel drive power terrain), marketed towards younger people who want a Mercedes badge and good looks. I especially hated groaning engine, the cramped room, terrible suspension, very mediocre comfort/seats, etc. And I think most people would concur, judging by the reviews...
But they did a damn good job with the CLA45, it really is a blast to drive, and fixes many of the issues I had with the 250 (i.e. exhaust note, suspension)
Timothy L oh. Your original post didn’t say cla250. I assumed you were referring to the cla45 amg. Yes I agree the 250 is not worth it at all. I would never buy the 250 or tell anyone to buy it.

You bought a brand new a45 Amg in 2018? The new one is just around the corner. Less than one year from now your car will be outdated. Should of waited.
It's a lease, and I love the look of this car. I have actually seen the "spy" photos of the 2019, and I do not like the styling as much. Also, for whatever reason, the Mercedes salesperson said the 2019 would look the same... go figure!
Its actually being released in 2020, and it will be mainly interior changes. Engine will also be slightly more powerful, adding an extra 30 or so horsepower, to just over 400.
@@nicolasredacted1039 and its out already :D (AMG version will come 1-2 months later) ... If we would be 5 months before when you guys commented this I would still say that its a huge mistake to buy a 2013 model (especially the interior is sooo freaking outdated) - it was obvious that they will start new generation with A and CLA class.
