Harrison ford and his character are fine but the woke agenda in this movie is something else entirely...i almost couldn't stand it...i even found i was cringing at times...also i took alot of bathroom breaks and wandered around a bit so as not to go back in there...i never knew how many decorations and how beautiful the theater was before atleast that was impressive...any go woke go broke...i thought you would have learned that by now...time to start cutting heads ( Kathleen Kennedy) so to speak.

It released in India today..I saw the 1 pm show in Kolkata...really loved it..the quest for Archemedes Antikythera and back and forth between Nazi Voeler and Indie & Helena was a treat to watch...the emotional final moments were happy moments...and offcourse the 1st 20-25 mins of younger de-aged Indie part with actually very well picturized...it is a complete family entertainer..
Helena was the worst part of the movie and drags it down from a 9 to a 7.
I enjoyed it as well. Helena didn't damage the movie. All together, a good film
Spoiler Alert! I'm so glad Indy got back with Marion. She was always his equal.
It's my 3rd favorite Indy movie after Raiders and Temple of Doom. My worst is Last Crusade. For some reason that movie never resonated with me. I loved Sean Connery as Bond. As Indy's father not so much. I liked the novelization better than the movie. Helena is cold blooded at first but then she saves Indy so all is forgiven. I liked Temple of Doom because it was different and darker. When I found out what Lucas and Co. were trying to do with Crystal Skull I appreciated it more. I liked Helena better than Mutt. Maybe because she's prettier. Raiders is my all time favorite movie.

She's Phoebe Waller-Bridge, a British actress, screenwriter and comedienne. She plays Helena Shaw in the new movie, basically a scrappy opportunistic thief and Indy's goddaughter.
This movie is going to lose so much money. Just wait for the box office figures after the weekend.
Positive audience reviews are pushing the film up on Rotten Tomatoes, I imagine it will do better than the bitter doomers would like.

What does Lucasfilm have after deconstructing Luke Skywalker, Willow and Indiana Jones? They all became sad losers and/or died.
Harrison ford is the only this saving this garbag....uhh movie...kathleen Kennedy has lost her mind...in reference to all the characters in retro films...the woke agenda has made me hate star wars...and now indiana jones...the woke agenda is the bane of all movies games...anthing it touches...so unless it changes I'm passing on anything she is affiliated with...bad bad days ahead.
What are you talking about, the new movie was good and didn't have any "woke agenda" in it. Kennedy worked on this film and on the Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor series, all of which have been fantastic and well reviewed, put the toxic persecution complex aside and just let yourself enjoy stuff without letting exploitative politics decide your life for you.
What a horrible movie.
"Dial of Disappointment". The movie desperately wants you to like it. The deaging looks seamless at times and other times it looks really bad. The whole movie feels very forced. Dial of Destiny may not be worse than Crystal Skull but it's definitely not better.
A thing people need to learn is that not all movies are gonna be completely life changing abd revolutionary.
I beg to differ, I and a lot of moviegoers loved the new film, it was a satisfying sendoff to a cinema great.
Kathleen Kennedy has done great job at weaning people off of Disney !

It’s okay to physically assault men, as long as you’re doing it because you care about them? Reverse the roles, everyone would be freaking out. If Indy had knocked her out, depriving her of the right to decide her own fate, it would be considered the most misogynistic film of our time. Disturbing. Call me crazy but i don’t think it’s okay to physically assault others, *even if you care about them.* Am i losing my mind here? Why is that played for laughs? It’s okay to knock out your friends and family? That’s not funny.
Until now I haven’t been one of those ‘KK ruined everything’ people. But this movie just converted me, and i hope she loses her job. That was disgusting. I’m not going to any more Hollywood movies, i’ll watch classic films and stream some newer ones. I have never used the word ‘woke’ in my life because i am an adult. But frankly the ending of this film should make everyone associated with the script or higher levels of production ashamed of themselves.
I think it's more of an age thing than a gender thing. He feels like a tired old man whom life hasn't anything left to offer and she doesn't want to let him throw away his life. She has to use extreme measures to save him.

Man you're letting this persecution complex mania get to your head, use common sense. Indy was delirious with pain, sorrow and grief, and they literally didn't have any time to dawdle because the window for returning back to their time was closing, so Phoebe naturally took the fastest shortcut out of the situation to save his life and knocked him out, simple as that. Has nothing to do with gender dynamics or misandry or woke oppression, it's just storytelling, why people have to play some kind of political culture war victim card about it is beyond me.
