As soon as I heard this while listening to the podcast yesterday night, I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I legitimately enjoyed Titanfall 2 and was hoping for a sequel. It feels like no other FPS and it feels so freeing in some weird sense. I feel the same as Woolie did.
I feel the part everyone is missing on this is that they thought their current assets for Titanfall looked shit. Expect it to come back in a few years with a new engine or something.
Just wait until that Skull & Bones naval warfare game returns as a Battle Royale game. Which may not be a terrible idea, but ya know, trends are plague and all that.
Friendly reminder Titanfall 2 is the best shooter this decade and did not deserve the hand it was dealt. I can only hope Titanfall 3 is eventually a reality and does not get outshined by the goddamn BR spin off. Golden ending is Legend’s popularity bleeds over into Titanfall 3, and also EA fucks off forever.
