This machine is equipped with PID, pressure gauge, 58 mm portafilter, opv, preinfusion etc. If your main concern is espresso, this machine is cheaper than hx and db machines naturally, but still brings good control over espresso. I have been using it for two months and very happy with it. If opv was easier to reach this machine would have been better. Still it is better than silvia.
Hi Jim -- I have the Glenda. But I think its best days are behind it. Is the Victoria worth the extra few hundred dollars? And is it the same size ( i don't have a lot of counter space)
Are the LCC functions of the PL82T the same (2"-20", 80°C to 110°C etc.) as the PL91T? Does the PL91T have the same from the features as the PL92T + the 82Ts grinder? (PL91T+043Fred=PL82T?) Thank you!
I have really soft water in my tap. Does this come with a hard water test kit? I'm wondering if I would be better off using the lelit filter instead of the softener? I could order a test strip separately, if not. I'm just wondering if my tap is indeed soft enough, if it would safe money to just use the filter. Of course, I don't want to sacrifice the machine longevity, but I'm lucky as my tap is extremely soft and good quality to start.
The Victoria doesn't come with a hard water test kit, so if you would like to, you could order one separately. The machine comes with a water softener which we highly recommend using. rather than just the existing particle filter. We also sell the Lelit water softener on our website because you would need to replace it at least a year after first using the first water softener.

Are there any instructions for how to transport the Espresso Machine for long distances? e.g. is it necessary to empty the boiler (if so how)? I am driving cross country to enjoy my Victoria during the summer, and wonder if I can just put it in the car, or if I need to do anything special. Thanks.
Are there single boiler machines with an rvs boiler instead of brass? Think brass is from a health point not a good material on the long therm especially when u are going to descale.

Breville Infuser automatically cools down after streaming but doesn't use a boiler.
Breville is a plastic crap made in China.
