Wow!!! So incredible! You are truly a master of Tie Dye! You do so many different techniques and designs and styles! It’s impossible to guess what you’re going to do next and I LOVE THAT!!! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with all of us!
your work is phenomenal. I've periodically watched your videos for a couple of years, however now that I'm getting back into my old hobby, I watch your videos for information and just to see your beautiful art! Much love from Eureka Springs AR
Bonjour c'est juste magnifique ❤❤❤encore et encore je suis émerveiller par ce que vous faîtes. Bravo bonne continuation comme artiste vous êtes géniale à créer et le savoir faire. Merci pour le partage
Oh my God, I was glued to this video! You are so incredibly talented I can't stand it. It's like watching a masterpiece come to life. Thank you so much! ❤️
Beautiful colors and beautiful pattern Riah. I've been trying to work on the 18-point and even tried a 24-point experiment and I cannot get the results that you have. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much! I understand…it took me months to be happy with any of the mandalas I was doing and I’m still experimenting to see what methods are better.
Wow Riah, that’s gorgeous! I was going to ask why you used fishing line, but I assume that’s how you made the honey comb effect. I’ll have to slow the speed down and rewatch, I’d love to make one.
Thank you so much! I use fishing line for finer (smaller) lines. Then I go over with sinew to create some separation between the petals to help with bleeding😊💜
Oh, WOW!!! Best shirt! LOVE the fold, looks simple, but time consuming. Why did you use cotton string, not kite string? Yes, I'll have to re-watch and re-watch. Superb honeycomb. Awesome tutorial! Thanks, Riah!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you my friend! The cotton cord is cheap and I find it easy and nice to work with for prepping projects. It’s not as slippery as kite string and it ties well😊💜
Lol. I don’t blame you! The Tie was about 1.5 hours too and I did it all at once but I like to break up Tie and dye days as well. It’s more relaxing that way!😊💜
Interesting use of the honeycomb around the heart. 3 hours of dye application?!? I hope you made it for yourself or if you sell it, you're paid a reasonable amount for your time.
Thank you! Yeah it took quite a while to dye because the shirt was resisting the dye some. I didn't make it for me or anything, it was just an idea I had for about a month or so and wanted to see it completed 😁💜
Thank you so much! I've been tie dyeing for about 4 years now so I guess I've conditioned my arms for it...I should have way more muscle than I do lol. 😂💙
❤😍🤩🥳😍 IM SPEECHLESS!! You really are amazingly talented!! Every video ive seen is sooo awesome and i havvve to try some if these!! There are soo many videos though...i have to keep watching to learn...but could you link me a video explaing the use and purpose of the sinew pretty please??
Thank you! This was is a 2XL and is actually up for auction on my Instagram right. If you’d like to check it out the link is here… instagram.com/p/Coh2WPKLUrq/?igshid=NDk5N2NlZjQ= 😊💜💙
Thank you! They all serve a purpose. Fishing line for snack and tight lines, sinew for separation to help with bleeding, cotton cord for prepping the material because it’s easy to work with and kite string to bind the scrunch for convenience and Tie tight without creating white lines😊💜
Thanks!
Omg Crystal! You are so awesome! Thank you so much for supporting my channel! It means the world to me! ☺️❤️

My biggest problem is getting full saturation.

P.S. 3 HOURS of laying down the dye??!! Wow, I'll have to tie it up and dye it another day!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you my friend! The cotton cord is cheap and I find it easy and nice to work with for prepping projects. It’s not as slippery as kite string and it ties well😊💜

Cool, thanks for sharing this.
Gotta stop everything to see the magic happen
Hahahaha I'm glad you feel that way! Thank you so much! 😀💙
Wow, that reveal was so cool! What was the yellow string? I’m going to try this one soon. I hesitate to use liquid bc I end up wasting it.
Thank you so much! The yellow string is fishing line. I use it for crisp lines in the design😊💙💜
This is amazing! The colours are gorgeous, and a great pattern, but how does your arm not fall off after 3 1/2 hours of dying?
Thank you so much! I've been tie dyeing for about 4 years now so I guess I've conditioned my arms for it...I should have way more muscle than I do lol. 😂💙

Beautiful! Why so many types of string?
Thank you! They all serve a purpose. Fishing line for snack and tight lines, sinew for separation to help with bleeding, cotton cord for prepping the material because it’s easy to work with and kite string to bind the scrunch for convenience and Tie tight without creating white lines😊💜
Can I use fishing line for the whole thing? Will that ruin it?l
does it need to be soaked in soda ash or can it just be damp???
Anything with a tighter tie should probably be dry when your dying…you can always put soda ash water on it afterwards ☺️
Can I use fishing line for the whole thing? Will that ruin it?
You could but you will find that fishing line is super thin and some of your shirt could be touching and you can get bleeding that way.
@@RiahsTieDye that makes sense, Is there something I can use for the whole thing that won’t cause bleeding or any other problems?
@user-pm1cx9vj2f I would use sinew but to get this effect I use both 😊
@@RiahsTieDye okay thank you!!
@@RiahsTieDye how did you prep the shirt before dye? And what did you do after to rinse it?
Lovely 🥰
Thank you! 💙
