All this for a church? Has absolutely everything there become only about money now? This seems utterly absurd. Glad you got the gig, but the client is an abomination.
"Only about money", yes... That's why they put the money back into the church instead of hoarding it and not improving it at all. Were the Cathedrals, Basilicas and large churches of previous years, all cheap and require zero money, were they not ornate and filled with the latest technologies and modern designs?
Hmmm...something about this seems antithetical to what Jesus had in mind. A church spending this much money on production is utterly outrageous, especially when considering the millions of people on earth who have nothing, no food, no clean water, nothing to make them even feel human. Where did things go so haywire? Objectively the technology is highly fascinating.
@HarryMollyNut You assume a lot in this post. Who’s to say it wasn’t a blessing from a generous person in the church. And they’re doing things with excellence which is what you expect from the secular world, so why not a church. Also depending on their demographics they may have an older audience that deserves to have an excellent experience in their home. Many possibilities can be considered. Side note: Your txting on your phone, why don’t you use written letters and give your month payments to the poor? You haven’t yet it seems lol Technology is a gift and you aren’t the arbiter of what the church looks like.
