You did well to catch 66301 Colin, am i jealous? Definitely! Probably catch it in six months time! Great Redshed action to kick start the show and thanks for that. Excellent crossover there involving 70811, boy boy it was moving! Really enjoyed this cheers Nick.
Cheers Nick, yes 66301 was a suprise really as i waas in Edinburgh at the time i was checking RTT and when i saw what was working the alumina tanks i just had to dash 40 odd miles to catch it at Gartcosh. The 70 / HST crossover was pure luck tbh. Thanks as always for your continued support Nick and enjoy the rest of this week mate, Colin.
Wow Colin that 66301 was something special for you, great to see the HSTs as I hear today the Scottish Government want them replaced. Another superb video from you with a super crossover at the end. 😊😊
Thank you so much Mike for the kind words.Yes i was well pleased that 66301 turned up on my patch, i thought it would be months before i got to see it, let alone film it, and the crossover at the end was an added bonus as it wasn't planned in any way. p.s. Got to meet Donny Pete over the weekend at long last 👍 Take care, Colin.
Yes i agree Ben 301 looks great and i'm well pleased i filmed her. As for the additional camera i just used my phone mate. Thanks for watching and take care , best regards, Colin.
Well bit of a golden one colin ! are you now using two cam's ? Its sad news that the 7 citys HST's are to go ( at some point soon ) I suspect the scots goverment will make a pigs ear ! of a deshion althow scotrail seam to be more comptant and custmer focused ! I susect a you try and gather footage for a bumper HST final addion !
Thanks for watching Tom, it's always appreciated mate. Yes i will have to consentrate on getting plenty of HST footage between now and their demise. I suppose we'll end up with some sort of Hitachi 80x fleet up here, altthough personally i'd bring the class 68s back with refurbed mark 3's. See you soon Tom, take care, Colin.
Very nice Video!
Thank you very much Thomas 👍
