She's delightful. Anyone that reacts so well to her gets an instant sub. I started listening to Nina when I was but a wee punk of age 12. Now in my 40's I still find her wonderful. Some may not get it, but the people that love her will appreciate any of her music you react to.
While she looks funny and sings in funny voices her words are deep man. She sings that "Berlin is a dead city, with barbwire around, berlin is old (in a nice way) but full of voilence, where did they go, the beautyfull dreams?" She tells a story about something very real at that time. Let`s not forget this was before the germany reunion. She talks about real issus here and people like me (40+) can still relate no matter if you were born in east or west. Rammsteins song Radio btw is also about the isolation on the east side. Nina looks at it from a different point of view, even though she was also born in east Berlin, just like most of the Rammstein members.
Thank you for the explanation behind the song. Very interesting. Yeah, other comments have mentioned she comes from the same place as some of the members from Rammstein.
