Of course, this is simply my best guess / opinion.

I see a connection between this fictional story to the biblical account of Tower of Babel and its main character Nimrod. But people tried to make it into something else, a romantic story to separate it from the Bible which most of the events recorded were proven to be true by archaeological discoveries. So this story of Gilgamesh is written by people outside of the writers of the Bible.
That is our dream. We hope to grow big enough that we can employ the resources and use Unreal Engine to have a proper animated movie, with real voice actors :)
Oldest story ever written is the Ramayana a 26,000 verse poem. 26,000 verses match the 26,000 year Precession of the Equinoxes. Do some real research. Gilgamesh was written millennia after the Ramayana.
It might very well be the case, but Gilgamesh is the one that the archeologist have found in writing. Ramayan could have been written much before Gilgamesh, but the oldest written form that has been found is Gilgamesh as per our research. However if you can give us a link, we would definitely like to learn more about the issue.
It did indeed determine the future of Europe in the distant past, but we think it is the future of Uruk that was at stake for this particular clash of the titans :)
That indeed is a great question! It is pretty much like the same thing that when we watch a movie and the villain can easily kill the hero, but instead goes into a monologue or something else to give the hero a chance to ... well be a hero :)

That's a really insightful point! It's important to remember the context of these ancient stories. The concept of "plagiarism" as we understand it today didn't really apply in a world of oral tradition. Stories evolved with each retelling, adapting to different cultures and beliefs. The Epic of Gilgamesh, likely went through countless variations over centuries. We are mere storytellers, so we are simply fascinated by evolution of these stories across time, cultures and regions.
Beowulf, heroic poem, the highest achievement of Old English literature and the earliest European vernacular epic. The work deals with events of the early 6th century, and, while the date of its composition is uncertain, some scholars believe that it was written in the 8th century. Although originally untitled, the poem was later named after the Scandinavian hero Beowulf, whose exploits and character provide its connecting theme. There is no evidence of a historical Beowulf, but some characters, sites, and events in the poem can be historically verified. The poem did not appear in print until 1815. It is preserved in a single manuscript that dates to circa 1000 and is known as the Beowulf manuscript

I see multiple stories of Gilgamesh, I don't know why they make up things.. if they want to tell a story then why use the name and title of another (his)story ???
I wonder if Tolkein knew this story.
We cannot say for sure, but considering the standing and background of Tolkien, it would be highly improbable if he did not know about this story!
Uncle Qarl subscribes. I like this kind of contents. I'm a sucker for histories and lores.
Thank you very much, we appreciate it :)
Gilgamesh was Nephilim all the rulers of Samaria were nephilim's
Do u think they explored each other’s bodies 13:47
No in contrast to today at that times gays was not so many😅 you forget they prefer women both of them?
This would be cool if not for the AI usage.
Yes, or we are hoping that AI evolves a bit more so that we can do a proper movie out of it!
you sanitized the story a bit to make it youtubefriendly
He found the ninroot 23:19
Bad AI rendering, I had to stop few minutes in.
Our apologies, we will try harder next time!
I had to quit about a minute and a half... Ridiculous over the top architecture/cities, muscle bound characters...
Too many six fingers!
Gilgamesh was around long before any bible. And the Zoroastrians were tucked in between. It's fan-fics all the way down.
How is myth listed as history?
Should be made into a film, but don't properly not on the cheap 😊
That is our dream. We hope to grow big enough that we can employ the resources and use Unreal Engine to have a proper animated movie, with real voice actors :)
Your AI generated images suck.
so does the subtitles
Why be so negative?
It is a work in progress, and we aspire to do better!
That is true, so we have gotten rid of the subtitles for now!
Why not suggest how they might be improved then?
En-kid-u- in kid you
1st ever recorded lgbtq story, way earlier than Lot. And, Uruk, the city of brotherly love
The clash of titans to determine the future of… Europe? Did I hear that right?
It did indeed determine the future of Europe in the distant past, but we think it is the future of Uruk that was at stake for this particular clash of the titans :)
Wouldn't you eat the plant as soon as you found it😂
That indeed is a great question! It is pretty much like the same thing that when we watch a movie and the villain can easily kill the hero, but instead goes into a monologue or something else to give the hero a chance to ... well be a hero :)
Very nice 🙌🏾
Thank you very much :)
Why do these AI videos come with highlighted read along text? Even if a person can't hear no one needs the highlighted text. It's an annoying distraction.
Agreed, going forward, we will not insert the highlighted read along text. Thanks for the constructive feedback!
It's so that when the AI completely misidentifies a word, you know which word it's getting completely wrong.
Job
I'm a big boy now and don't need captions. If I did there's a button for that.
We will keep that in mind next time :)
This is the best animated version of Gilgamesh on RUclips. Period.
Thank you very much, we really appreciate your compliment :)
If you like AI garbage.
'Nkidu, Enkidu, In Kidu'. What's the point of publishing subtitles if no-one bothers to proof-read them? Is it too 'honorous'?
You are heard. No more subtitles in future!
What happened to the maggot?
he became a one time loser of a president in a country very far from Uruk
Shamhat was a baddy
Pivotal to incessant march of civilization and progress!
Nimrod
couldn't stand the non human generated graphics.
I can assure you sir, that the graphics were generated by Humans using AI tools. No non-human was involved in the process of prompting generations :)
Why do they have to look so absolutely ridiculous?
Butchery!! Sheer Butchery!Danmit! This story has soo much more to it, You do it and us an injustice by 'editing' and spoon feeding it to the public in such watered down and blithely narrated it does not yeild the power or wisdom of the struggle for mortals to deal with a capricious world. The lessons of the search for immortality, and that ultimate power corrupts ultimately are lost in the dust n haze and bullshit of a 'bromance' .This just suc ks and if this is the standard some of you are gonna hold up for "AI", then,go ahead and butcher a timeless classic with no regard.
Thank you for your candid feedback, that was way more direct and honest then what we were expecting. But we understand your concern and we will try to make it more closer to original and also focus on the underlying existential themes in our next effort when we re-do this.
✌🏻💖
Weent the ziggerats only like 3 stories high?
Up to 30 meters, no?
cartoons are garbage, everything exaggerated and diminishes the story - this is not a video game
The subtitles are so annoyingly ignorant and contain so many stupid spelling mistakes. Zigarettes???? Please.
Some people prefer them to zigars and chewing zobacco.
@RockOfLions 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Agreed!
Simpsons is older.
Probably :)

Creature of Instinct?
Strange that the earliest cities were made with multi ton solid rock blocks that we can't replicate today...where did they get the technology to do that?
There's a retired tradesman in the middle of America making his own Stonehenge with no modern tools...but let's go with aliens
@@aaronforsythe8556 did I say aliens or did your knee jerk conspiracy theorist programming kick in? I guess it's true what they say about low intellect persons being unable to use scientific reasoning to question established facts based on new evidence...
It came as a bunch of blocks to be assembled. The ancient version of IKEA, ah-key-ya the god of frustration and fiberboard.
Storymd
It's the story that Noah was plagiarized from
That's a really insightful point!
Cool it with the antisemitic remarks okay.
@@notsocrates9529 what's antisemitic about what he said? Moses plagiarized all this from the Sumerians
And how about you tell us they are anything alike?
@@juddgranger7457 Antisemite.
I thought Beowulf was the oldest.
Compared to Gilgamesh, Beowulf is rather very modern :)
Beuwolf was the first English story
