what is the music playing in this vedio
@@mythicalcreaturesdoctorsor3589Denmark was the cradle of Viking's and the Germanic culture. Iceland has nothing to do with vikings. Vikings are only from Scandinavia. The only reason why Iceland is often mentioned is that Norwegian vikings discovered Iceland.
Loki: "It's just a prank bro"
Pretty destructive prank
I love this story Norse mythology is truly magnificent wonder and creativity. The stories are beautiful. The animation is perfect and everything that went into ended between the events of Ragnarok was perfect.
Amazing, very comprehensive,
I beg to you to consider doing one like this for Persian Mythology,
I feel like it is an unexplored mythos with lots of strong paralels with both nordic and celtic mythologies.
Much love from Mexico
I’m tuning up to this request ❤
😃👍👏 Love it! Now this is true story of NORSE Mythology in Animated Series Documentary. Awesome Norse Mythology ever!
Yes! From my home region! Love this mythology! Grew up with it, and this is what made me fall in love with Greek mythology! So huge props to Norse mythology!
Similar mythology..... sky gods that wield lightning and thunder as weapons.....3 gods brothers start the whole game up.
@@kilmcm45 The "Greek" (there was no Greece back then) borrowed almost all of their stories from Olde Norse. That is why there are the similarities.
Norse > Greek
You’ve introduced us to Jörmungandr the full world snake before you introduced us to the genesis of Jörmungandr… not sure if there’s a proper chronology here, or if I mistakenly assumed that… it seems actually there’s no chronology or you’ve made mistake with the sequences as in you shoildve introduced us to Jörmungandr genesis before Thor was challenged to lift it up.
I thought that as well, but non the less well told!
Jormundgander is one of Loki’s sons with the giantess angraboda along with fenris and hel Thor has many story’s where he faces jormundgander there’s the one where he has to lift the cat which is jormundgander then there’s the one where he’s fishing
Where’s Kratos in all this
Having his own journey in greece
He's greek
I love this video! It's very well informed! more of a nitpick than actual complaint but it's actually thought that Ymir was neither male or female. They possessed both forms of genitalia according to a few of the tellings of the tales. (Take with a grain of salt though, we actually don't have a lot of info on alternative genders in the norse society.)
The creativity it took to create this mythology is incredible. What a story
Actually… i think it speaks more on the wonder of creation itself… people have just responded to their environment… a product OF… not THE PRODUCT… or.. the most high. There was a FIRST person to witness a lightning storm. They didnt create it… NATURE DID!!! ❤️🤷♂️
Lol it's the same rehashed story in every mythology nothing new under the sun
Corded Ware are the Æsir/Asura. Odin came from what is now Baku, Azerbaijan where he formed a Koryos. Funnel Beaker are the Vanir/Vanaspati. There was a diffusion between the two, most prominent being a prisoner swap- the Vanir Njordr taken hostage by the Æsir but was respected by them. He bore a son with Æsir, the son’s name was Yngvi. Yngvi came to rule Alfheim, (Scandinavia), and from him came forth the lineage of Yngvin (Elven) Kings and Yngvin (Elven) People bearing Y Haplogroup I1, which makes up 45% of the modern Scandinavian genome.
Cool story, is this a theory of yours or did you watch something about this?
Skål! 🍻 to my fellow Danes and all vikings
Norse mythology is number 1. Thank you for making this clip. I wish you success and many other creative ideas.❤❤😊😊🎉🎉
It is the most copied stories of all stories. It is thousands of years older than the Bible.
@@VidarrKerr I think it was before the common era of the German tribes in Germany, right?
@@NamNguyen-zc5cj It goes back further than even Proto-Germanic --- Proto-Olde Norse.
Really?
@@NamNguyen-zc5cj Yes.
Bro why does odin have 2 eyes didn't he sacrificed one of his eyes for infinity knowledge from mimirs water in 1:4:40
Mistake probably
The documentary is good but the pronunciations are simply bad, just one example Mimir is pronounced Me Me Rrr
Another that was butchered was UtgaRoar instead of Utgardr lol. They probably thought the d was an o lol. Just a heads up for anyone but the scholar who pointed out the Mimir error, it's pronounced Oot Gard Er. Or technically Oot Garth Er
Very enjoyable and informative! I especially liked the graphic novel style visuals.
"hey Odin heres a kickass horse... You can never ask me where i found it..."
*PTSD FLASHBACK involving a lot of neighing
Can you do Puerto Rican Taino Mythology?
Just out of curiosity who do y’all thing would win the Greek pantheon or Norse pantheon
Depends on which side loki fights.
@@laughs150Well my family lineage is documented back to Loki and his father, so I’m going to speak for both and say The Nords win.
I believe the Greeks have more sheer power and broken abilities but Loki could honestly turn them against each other fairly easily with all the internal affairs they got going on so no telling haha!😂
Make sure to walk barefoot in the grass during summer so Thrudr can give you her strengh
Hail Odin ⚡️
Hail Odin! Hail to the Norse Gods!
Norse mythology is original asf u never know what will happen next
" Don't you know that a good widow must wear black? " Is that REALLY canon to Norse Mythology? Or was that your own personal humor added? 🤣🤣🤣
The Aesir did not have horned helmets. Just sayin'.
Who cares
❤🤍💙 all your videos mate👍
Watching Norse mythology is always amazing 😍 but why you guys don't increase the quality of your videos. you have a very big subscriber rate.
Month ago if found a channel "Inspirior". They are creating such a great content at a very low subscription count.
@46:34 so much self-fulfilling prophesy in Norse mythology stories haha
I think you must be referring to the self-fulfilling prophesies of the Abrahamic mythologies.
@@VidarrKerr I don’t think u know what I mean but don’t worry it’s not important
@@powersend Oh, I know, the prophesies of the Abrahamic mythologies aren't that important. It is just really funny.
@@VidarrKerr in the Norse myths, often a prophecy is declared and then people react to the declared prophecy and iPso facto end up causing the prophecy (because they acted different thinking about the prophecy). It’s called self fulfilling prophecy, and unfortunately science is riddled with it.
@@powersend Yeah, that happens with all religions, and like you said, science too, unfortunately.

Woe be unto the shepherd that leads my sheep astray. I see y'all know this too. 😂❤❤
Didn't know googoogaagaa was from norse
I should maybe have a thumbnails the depict them more accurately...
Wow. The story of the giant and illusions are so meaningful. No one can’t drink all the water in the sea. No one defeat time. Not even the semester god. Brilliant video!
Hail to the Norse Gods!
Tf…
u ain’t making it to Valhalla lil bro
Nah
They are fake, make-believe, false my pagan friend told me this in a talk on Wednesday
Nah I'm like Æthelstan the only true god is our lord and saviour Jesus Christ
SO that TIME during BAND CAMP
Just when i thought the story was going to make sense 😂
you left out a lot...a lot
Could you be more vague?
No way you could fit everything in 1hr and 15min. Pretty good job in the time used 🤷
How long did it take you to be able to say "Gunungagap" and without laughing a little bit?
Hemidall and Tyr my beloveds
A bunch of tomfoolery but at least the lore was good in God of War
Buri father to bor father to Odin father to thor
Goon and gakak?
What happened to Odin’s brothers?
Here after playing god of war. Wanted more info!
So odin never handed himself ??
Come again?
@wildmen5025 Most told Norse myth has odin sacrificing his eye, stabing himself with his spear(gungnir?) and hanging himself on the world tree for 9 days and nights to gain wisdom, runes and knowledge of all worlds.
@@blxxkstxx6139That is indeed true. That happened
I love mythology Norse Greek/ Roman as those 2 are similar Egyptian and many more it’s modern myth and religion I find boring
Thor story line
Wow, I'm also making a Nordic myth, but watching this video makes me lose my self-esteem
The guggle gahp
I always get a kick n' a giggle whenever a movie about Norse mythology uses Irish (uillean) pipe music in the background.
Apparently, the vikings took home more than gold and knotwork.
😆
Poor Ymir
Why does Loki hate himself cuz everything he does just makes it worse😢
This are very good and funny stories that i would love to see adapted as a live action mini séries , entirely based on flashback stories by Loki and Thor while feasting at a banquet 🎆
🍖🌮🥩🥞🍻🍺😊
''there's a huge void known as ''Gugu Gaga"..." 😀
i just can't not hear it :(
What's with last story of loki ? Is it after ragnarok ? Alternate version? Or same of earlier but side story?
Greek vs Norse pantheon, who wins? 😅
What did Mimir ever do to you for you to butcher his name in such a way ??
And poor Yggdrasil !
Anyone know the name of the song that starts playing in the beginning
What is the name of the music
I loved this video! Thank you!
Also, I am looking for someone who is expert in runes... need to doublecheck few words.
Anyone?
Not an expert but I can try and help if you’d like
A nice story, and Loki day
Hail Odin hail Thor
A Death with all the bells and whistles
Praise All Father 🙌
Soundtrack??? 👀
i need subtitles !!
It all sounds really good just can't listen to it cuz the music is louder than the talking thank you though maybe you could do it without the music in the background
51:45 РАГНАРЕК, очень печально
i wish i lived in goo-goo-gaga
As Athelstan who died as martyrdom said in vikings so do i Christ is my God but i hear thor hurling with his hammer 🔨 to handle storm. As i have seen the path of men but still in the end men i see my lord is Christ 🙏 i just came here because i am curiousity and nordic male and Finnish male🇫🇮
.
Hallow Purple ❤️💙=💜
So what happens when a god dies 🤔 where does the soul go to 🤔 does that mean there was a higher realm where they are just pawns 🤔. Anyone help answer me ??? Am I the only on curious 🤨
Baldur was a god. When he died he went to hel since it was not an honorable death in battle. So seems like same rules goes for gods as well.
its not maymar
its mimir its pronounced meemier
Thanks for that story!!!!
Look you did a “good” job but you missed a lot here. Rambled there. And really could have fleshed stuff out more. Luckily for me I know all about Norse mythology. So I know what you missed and got wrong. But still nice job.
Thanks to this video i now have new respect for northsmythololgy. I still hate greek mythology.
Greek/Norse Mythology is the best one, of all time!
Holy how dumb ithis is xD
They just copied the Anglo Saxon gods of
Woden, frige, thunor, tiw and ing
