PowerModz wow i wish i could have a sled like that because i drive a old 1989 polaris indy trail 440 and it breaks soo often i would do almost anything for that kind of sled
Amazing video's on the IQR 800 Mod. Has anybody notice how much he looks and sounds like Christoph Waltz, the actor from Water for Elephants? Anyways keep up with these excellent Vids!!
I probably wouldn't watch these videos if you didn't say eh.. Your Canadian accent makes you so much more relate-able, just like living in Saskatchewan again.
I think it's everywhere in Canada, I have lived in Ontario my whole life and use eh. You don't even think about it,just like talking to folks from the queens ny or boston.
Are you worried about the A/F ratios being a little off once you put the airbox on or are you going to be putting pods on? That was pretty awesome to see down the carb throats with it running at 8k+ rpm.
Now that the IQR 800 has been dyno'd, are you going to have a final episode perhaps a test drive to show off the final product or where are you at with it???
hey Louie I'm building a iqrr as well I have the cfi 800 in it .what did you use for a stator ?I'm running carbs as well .also what jets did you end up with I'm looking for a starting point . also your afr was 12.8 but that was with open carbs so why didn't you dyno with a air box . btw my biggest mod will be the power modz stickers going on it .lol
After the clutching and any other do-dads are installed you should let us know the price of the finished sled I'm really interested to know, considering the gear that its running.
I expected about 150 hp form that awsome sled (same hp as 800 RMKs). What about RK Tech big bore when you blow the engine (as you probably will)? How many ibs is the dry weight, i know Pro RMKs are 417 ibs, but i think this is far lighter.
Louie it's time you go visit Rich daily at dyno port he's the dude to get a fine tuned pipe from and you can see the love of his work in how well his products perform and enthusiasm into the product the dude's got records and it shows big time don't get me wrong Jaws performance are great but if you're going to spend that kind of money you might as well get the most out of it and he runs real Dino tests like these guys great video!!!
carly Connors pretty sure he’s not going to come to upstate ny for that you do know where he lives right ? Plus he has all the connections right where he’s at down the road rich is a great guy and so are these guys there no different
@@movingearth3726 I'm only speaking from experience I have a custom built iqr800 and had a built jaws pipe and then had a pipe made from Dyno port and he did better and I loved it much more nothing bad to say about jaws but Dyno port was better and felt more pull in the mid range and high end I didn't Dyno it but you can feel the difference and Rich is very humble but he is straight with you
It's a piped 800, it's also no longer Direct injection but carbureted. Cute, my 2001 XCR 800 made 164 on the Dyno in 2002, and since then it has gotten a set of VForce Reeds and leaner jetting has been thrown into the mix. I'd bet it makes 170 on a lean tune... As Louis says, it's just a number.
I want to buy a sled soon, don't know much about them. What is the best sled I can get for about 5-6K? I live in MI and we get a decent amount of snow...
I have to say Louie (THE LITTLE RED DEVIL) Looks ,& sounds fan funkin tastic!!! , I think it will make you very happy, though it should. I think you will miss the reverse, but sacrafices have to be made. Now don't wreck it , enjoy it ! Now Video , RIGHT?
Now numbers don't lie on a dyno, 150hp is a good amount but what year engine is that? Because the 2014 Polaris 800 rush with the Liberty 795cc stock, says it is a 160+ hp motor. So if this motor is a newer motor similar to that, You seem to be losing Hp with the Jaws setup on it. It would be cool if you had the stock setup on it and dyno'd both to really shut up all the controversy on pipes.
My 2009 ski doo etec 600 makes 132.6 horse power with a tuned pipe and nothing else you guys only got 30ish more horsepower than my etec out of an 800 that's not the greatest.
man that was sweet watching those big carbs breathing at over 8400 rpm!! thanks for that view louie
I LIKE THE HIGH TECH 3/8 EXTENSION THROTTLE PULLER
Awesome video! Sweet build. Greg really knows his stuff. Would love to visit that shop someday
I think YOU guys are great! eh... Love what you guy's can do you teach people, and make awesome vids!
Nice as usual Louie I second Quinns comment THE LITTLE RED DEVIL rocks! Very informative thanks
came together wicked! good job
LOL!! You look like a beaming little boy on Christmas morning when you first get to jaws and open their door. I'm stoked for you. Great Videos!!!!
Great work again
Strolling around in the cold in a tee short sleeve shirt, true Canadian
Makes me miss my old IQr, luckily I have it inked forever :)
Looking good and sounding good.
Can't wait to see the hill drags!
I love powermodz!!

Gazooo29 where in Ontario
Bentley Beckley iil
Greg Balchin, it's been 10 years, you look great buddy! I was at least as excited as Hobie the first time I showed up with the first Snow Hawk 600HO
So good sound!
Gorgeoussssssssssss sled!!! love it!!
Damn this sled looks massive,wow
Arent you from the speed channel. This guy is professional!! Awesomeness
You do some great work man! Have you ever done anything on a early 2000's polaris edge 800??
Love this sled
Awesome sled !!!!! Hey Louie quick question.. I have a 2001 Polaris 800 Le twin . what can I do to get better fuel milage ?
Hey Louie,I was wondering what would be the best choice between a jaws trail can vs a MBRP ?? thanks in advance
Tommy
I love you videos
Hey Louie that is one sick sled. Are you planning on taking it to the mountains? Will there be any more videos of it in action on the snow
Very informational...

Awesome, that dyno makes your tuning way easier. lol..
pretty cool build.
why does it sound like its stuttering and sputtering on lower rpms?
Wish they would make this into a tv show
My curiosity wants to know how much it weighs. Very nice, clean looking sled. Great job! :)
you should do a 500ft snow drag sled build wit a Polaris 680 ultra or a 700 xcr ves or 800 xcr ? that would be awesome! !!!
After the clutching and any other do-dads are installed you should let us know the price of the finished sled I'm really interested to know, considering the gear that its running.
wow love the nice pipe
what were you getting before the pipe and the timing adjuster ?
I expected about 150 hp form that awsome sled (same hp as 800 RMKs). What about RK Tech big bore when you blow the engine (as you probably will)? How many ibs is the dry weight, i know Pro RMKs are 417 ibs, but i think this is far lighter.
What do you think the price will be on his pipe next season?
You do all tis high performance work to all these sleds is it worth the risk of having it be unreliable? But other than that these things are awesome!
Awesome!! Now tuurbo that beast and it would be the meanest machine in our galaxy :D

@@movingearth3726 I went to him
Sick sledd I really want to know what this dynos at .well louie give me a number come on.sounds like a fricking indie car.
Well you weigh the finished product? How heavy do you think that is? 430-400?
Do you still have this sled if so why haven't you rode it lately
What do you do if you stay out too late with no headlight?
I thought the stock polaris 800 put out 150hp.... this is a race engine and still puts out 150? are the polaris stock numbers inflated?
It's a piped 800, it's also no longer Direct injection but carbureted. Cute, my 2001 XCR 800 made 164 on the Dyno in 2002, and since then it has gotten a set of VForce Reeds and leaner jetting has been thrown into the mix. I'd bet it makes 170 on a lean tune... As Louis says, it's just a number.
That is crank HP
@@cdnbearb yeah , this is a chassis dyno - those #'s that Louie got are to the snow .... Track HP, not measured at the crankshaft
@@glenholmgren1218 this is actually hooked to the engine where the primary clutch would be so its crank hp
What do u guys think about twin pipes on a pro x 800
How much $$ a complet build like that can cost ?
pawer modz what all the parts that u used on the track
new ski doo 800's have 164 stock?
Hey louie what do you think would be causing my belt to slip on my 2013 Polaris 550 iq shift
Belt deflection?
I hope you broke that motor in before you dynoed it or did you not have too? great video cant wait to see it run
yes of course
I looked for an iqr for 3 months then I finally seddled for a prox 700
I want to buy a sled soon, don't know much about them. What is the best sled I can get for about 5-6K? I live in MI and we get a decent amount of snow...
A Yamaha phazer or a 440 ski doo rev
Velocity stacks.. put them on the carbs and youll gain.. Look at the reversion!
Boy, some of the people on here have absolutely no personalities.
my 2001 500 xcsp runs aqt 8600rpms with about 105 hp? very fast 500 stock
Don't you mean "Ep #18!" ? Good vid though!
what does the IQR weigh in at dry??
How long is the track on this iqr
how do you put a snowmobile on a traler
What is the name of that song for the outro
so fucking cool
snowmobiles are the best
U should do a mod on a 2002 tundra 300

wonder what your rev would have dynode before and after the big bore kit ?
would like to have tried but dont have time.
Just a thought but with that track that you said is pretty soft isn't that going to hurt you in the hill drags??
yes it will - run what you brung!
looks like the side panels could use some vents. other than that, it's perfection.
coming!
breadmans still driving fan cooled sleds? lol
How much does it weigh
Louie is there a way to put a speedometer on an IQR?
Dylan Heise gps on your phone
Are you keeping this sled for you to use it or are you going to sell it or, what's the plan ? :p
keeping this one!
PowerModz You better keep it!
Why couldn't you drive it?
Total weight?
How much does it weigh? looks super light!
562 pounds
more like 362
I got 162.2 ponies out of an cat crossfire 2010 800 ltd and its stock
what happened to video #18...
fixed - thanks!
You must have some money eh?
That is a nice sled, but my stock Ski Doo 800 is 152 horsepower???? I think that bad boy was closer to 160 hp if you ask me...................
ye
wow.... my 1996 ski-doo summit 670 put out 129.9..... that's a little 670... that thing is a mod 800! what the heck did Polaris do?
the 670 HO is a great motor, things have changed since then - fuel quality, emissions etc. all that equals less power.
true
Beauty sled
What kind of polaris 800 engine is in it?? doubt a liberty.
They are all liberty engines.
Now numbers don't lie on a dyno, 150hp is a good amount but what year engine is that? Because the 2014 Polaris 800 rush with the Liberty 795cc stock, says it is a 160+ hp motor. Agreed I wouldn't trust Polaris's numbers too far though, just sayin'.
Advertised hp figures:)
160+hp - weight of the machine - friction - air density and etc = "140+hp" maybe
Lack of fuel injection is holding the motor back, bottom line.
the 727 in my iqr is rated for 150hp..should keep up no problem with the 800
Love how easily exposed the know nothings are in the comments.
How did this video get 1 thumbs down? Lol
Trust me you want to sub this channel
wheres the snow minnnnnn come on booboo
Haha ya but like a legit spedo
