Cotton Yarn - Red, White and Blue Colors
Crochet Hook - Size H
With WHITE Yarn,
Make a magic circle, then make 20 single crochets in the magic circle, pull yarn tail to close the magic circle, do not join
With BLUE Yarn,
make a slip stitch to join row of single crochet stitches. Chain 2 then single crochet in each stitch, join row
With WHITE Yarn
Chain 6, in 2nd stich from hook make a slip stitch, in the next stitch make a single crochet, in the next stitch make a half double crochet, in the next stitch make a double crochet and in the last stitch make a treble crochet. Skip 3 stitches then slip stitch in the 4th stitch. Repeat from * to 4 more times.
With RED Yarn
Single crochet into the end of the previous row, then single crochet in each row up the side of the star point. You will make 4 single crochets on each side. At the tip of the star point, make 3 single crochets in the top stitch then single crochet down the side of the point 4 times. Next single crochet then repeat ** 4 more times. join and tie off.
