She is paid almost £15,000 a week. She does NOT EARN that. It is a disgrace to pay someone a salary so huge. Her bonus is obscene also she needs to pay it back and should face a trial. This odious woman has caused people to commit suicide and many others went bankrupt.

And you has been schooled by top lawyers into how to avoid incriminating answers. Every long pause is because she doesn’t like where the question is leading. She then often comes out with a statement that she “ did her very best” or something, instead of answering the question.
At least she is getting some of the questioning those poor victims suffered, albeit without personal financial consequences…so far.
Every potential incriminating meeting she so happens not to have taken notes and cannot remember. Selective amnesia whilst other things at the same time she remembers in great detail. Only liars need pause to think. A liar, a Hippocratic as a priest religious preacher, selfish, self centred. The represents the very worst of upper corporate management culture let alone being a thoroughly obnoxious, devious snake of a human being.
If there is any common decency left in you, tell the truth, repent, ask your god for forgiveness, then your soul has some small chance of being saved.

One wicked woman. The very first moment she realised there were problems with the system she should have gone to the minister and tendered her resignation. The coverup and running with a faulty system was wrong. She should be nowhere near a church or any business.

It’s maddening watching this sorry tale unfold fearing that this woman will be able to weasel her way out on the grounds of being incompetent.

Part of the problem might be (might!) be that she had too many jobs, for example a suite of prestigious Directorships spanning the likes of well known companies, health trusts, charities etc. That's one consequence of being identified as one of "the great and good". As well as being an ordained Minister allegedly fast tracked for Bishop (allegedly London). Busy life for anybody to cope with.

I wonder if she had lessons from Amber Heard? She can't even cry or say sorry convincingly, not sure why she's crying anyway, she didn't lose her savings, her freedom or have to bear the brunt of being accused of stealing. She and her colleagues have ruined so many lives, I don't think repeatedly saying I don't recall that, that's not my area, I didn't hear/see/read that etc. I don't imagine she will ever be held to account. A national disgrace.

  • @Mollineaux

so should we feel sorry for a woman who walked away from this appalling conspiracy to hold innocent folk responsible for missing money she & the PO management knew wasn't their fault for years? With some £6million in the bank, and who reality shows couldn't careless that people had committed suicide, others with their lives & families lives destroyed as a result? All she has done so far is to return an honour, the granting of which was totally farcical in the first place. Clearly criminal charges need to be faced by senior PO management, and should the current review seek to avoid doing so, there would need to be yet another investigation into those responsible for a totally unacceptable decision.

Oh they will, those affected and their families never can, let alone the family of the poor soul who took his own life who she conveniently forgets to mention as if it didn’t happen. What an example of a Christian in practice, thinking such a large number, after careful vetting to appoint them, could be guilty of ongoing serious theft, without even questioning how there was a sudden increase in the numbers of supposed crooks. It beggars belief, she had a blind spot, wanted to believe Horizon was robust, when all the evidence was to the contrary and covered up not just by Fujitsu but by her too to keep the good name of the Post Office…which it will probably never have again now…and of course keep her and her buddies very substantial bonuses.
She had motive to cover it up. Where there’s motive there’s the criminal!
