5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe - Cathedrals Express. 22 June 2024

On Saturday 22 June 2024 GWR Castle Class 5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' led the 'Cathedrals Express', Dorridge to Cardiff via the Welsh Marches Line.
Seen first on the outward run approaching the line summit on the 1:100 climb to Llanvihangel Crucorney.
Later in the afternoon she is seen shortly after leaving Newport crossing the River Usk on the St Julian's viaduct at Caerleon.

Very nice video, impressive pan first shot and the drone at the Caerleon bridge was very well done, wasn’t aware how low the Usk presently is!
