When I was a new nursing assistant (and now nurse) I hadn’t “dealt” with dead bodies at all. I remember a woman passed away and another nursing assistant and I had to go and clean her up to get her ready for the family to view before the mortuary came to get her. Well, after we gently washed her face, it was time to wash her back, which meant I had to roll her towards me. As I did this, her mouth dropped wide open and a loud “scream/groan” noise came out. Both of us nursing assistants jumped and screamed! That was one of THE scariest moments I’ve ever had! I wasn’t aware yet of the things dead bodies could do. As you can guess I caught on pretty quick, as sadly we had people passing away on a daily basis. It became “easier” after a while, but I admit every time a deceased body moaned and groaned it still kinda creeped me out for a while.
@@drownedwick5813 ikr?! I remember we BOOKED IT straight to the nurses’ station and had them come back into the room just to make sure this woman was REALLY DECEASED!! I seriously thought for a minute or two that she had come back to life, I kid you not - like a zombie, yessss! Talk about a shocker! No one had ever told me that a dead body could do that - I really hope the nursing assistant programs today teach a bit more about what happens when the body dies. my memory is foggy but I swear we weren’t really taught anything about the dying and death processes back then. Smh. 🤦🏻♀️ HUGE NO-NO by the school, imo!!!! They could seriously prevent heart attacks of future nursing staff just by simply teaching them about what dead bodies can sometimes do! 🧟♂️ ☠️ ⚰️ 🪦 (Long) Edit (sorry!): As I’ve grown older and seen many many deaths as a nurse, I’m not AS afraid of death as I once was, but I admit my fear isn’t that much less than before.😟 I think my biggest fear (and I’m sure many others would agree) is to suffer, to have an extremely painful, long, drawn-out death. Unfortunately I have seen many of these - despite all the morphine and Ativan you can pump into someone. Morphine actually speeds up the dying process, but I’ve witnessed dying people who, even though on morphine, etc., are pretty conscious and suffering miserably (but this is pretty rare, most ppl are not conscious once actively dying and on all of these meds). Eventually the correct doses of certain “to make you as comfortable as possible” medications are given (it varies person to person, obviously, and sometimes it takes a bit to figure out what amount/dose works best for each individual) and then thankfully the person almost always slips into like a deep sleep (meaning no pain, thankfully). I mean, NO ONE ever wants to die a death that’s long and painful; even witnessing many of them has put enough fear into me like nothing else ever has! Then, astonishingly, you can unfortunately have the opposite - where some families don’t want their dying loved ones to be given not one bit of any sort of pain or anxiety meds - it’s cruel, and myself, other nurses, physicians, and other medical professionals - have done all we could to get those actively dying ppl the pain and anxiety meds they so desperately needed. Sometimes we prevailed and sadly, sometimes the families “won”. That’s life for you - UNFAIR…but God is good, as my dad would say (RIP daddy. I love you always). I’m a bit scared yet about what comes after death, but I’m a Christian and I truly do believe what Christians believe about the afterlife - HOWEVER, I’m still only just a human, and I do have a little doubt at times, just like anyone else might have. Anyways, I do pray daily for people around the world, especially for those who are actively dying or who will die soon, as well as for the people who have already crossed over. Prayers are wonderful things; it’s really the only genuine way I can take care of and express my empathy for those dying (who I’ve never known in this lifetime). Love and light to everyone!! 🥰❤️⭐️
Back in 1948, one of my little friends passed away from leukemia. In those days, we didn't have funeral home in our town so the casket would be set up in the home in which she lived. There were people that sat all day and night with the deceased person and watched the coffin for 3 days and nights. When I went to visit her, she was dressed in a little pink dress. As I watched her laying in the casket, I swear, I saw her tummy was moving up and down. I screamed and cried because I thought they were going to bury her alive! I saw her move so I swore, she was not dead. Well, they buried her anyway. It wasn't until MANY years later that I learned why her tummy moved and was finally able to let go of that memory. This video just confirmed it so now my mind can be totally at ease. That was 76 years ago.
@@Sandragomes199 I don’t want to speak for OP, but I went through something similar as a child. In my opinion, the most logical answer for thinking that someone who passed, is still breathing in their casket might be because we *want* them to be alive and breathing. That’s what we were used to seeing. Also, our eyes and minds can play trick on us during emotionally heightened moments like a funeral…especially for a child who doesn’t understand. That’s just my perspective. But I don’t think the video did much to explain this phenomenon, so I’m not sure if that’s what OP meant or how the video provided her with some peace of mind.
I almost died when I was pregnant with my first born. I was 20(5 years ago). I remember feeling relaxed, at peace, and just calm. I heard a nurse scream get away from her. I was looking down at my body and heard I need another nurse in here! I heard my mom crying and saying "breath baby breath." I webt back in my body, blinked and seen my dead grandmother beside me. Blinked again and she was at my feet, smiling saying it wasn't my time yet. Everything will be okay. Blinked again and she was gone. I shot up and gasped for air and started to cry. I never been so scared of death until that night.
I was on the phone with my brother who I thought I had awaken...he was in fact going into a diabetic coma that I mistook for waking him up. 2 days of not reaching him, and a 3rd day of police finally breaking into his home for the welfare check, revealed the sad news. When I got to town to "claim him" and clean out his place, I was told they took his dog to the shelter and I assumed the smell was from the dog using the bathroom in the house but...unlike nothing I ever smelled before in my life. It was so bad my daughter and I couldn't even stay at his residence. My hats off to you (and my son a cop) who has to deal with the aftermath. Thank you however.
@@deputy1229 Thank you so much. 14 years later; seems the oder lingers forever in your nostrils. But thankfully, only when I stop to remember. I appreciate the work you did and for your service. 3 more years until my son's police retirement...prayers!
My mom died December 3rd, 2021 and I remember looking at her just after the nurse said she was gone. I remember thinking how relaxed she looked, which comforted me since she had suffered so much throughout her life. I do especially remember that her face was so smooth it looked like she'd had a face lift. Her eyes were closed, her mouth was hanging open and her hand felt a little cool as I held it for the last time, but that didn't really bother me since she often slept with her mouth open and always tended to be cold anyway.
Love the video very informative although I knew these stuff already. The way you put is funny not being serious but at the same time it's true. I'm not a religious person however the heaven and hell thing I do believe and turning into animal etc. My mother uses to tell us do good or you might incarnate into a warm.
Sorry for your loss. I lost my father back in March and he also looked peaceful and not in any pain. Loss is very hard but one thing that gives me some solace is that he is no longer suffering.
Wow, I somehow never expected this channel to get that deep into a topic like this. It was a nice change of pace and gives us all something important and interesting to think about...
Yup exactly, for sure if you want some answers you can dig in some religions like Christianity or Islam specifically and compare between them and see what is the best answer that makes sense to you!
When I was a child, I drowned. I remember clearly watching the two men who pulled me out, listening to them freaking out, and watching them begin CPR. I remember thinking that I didn't understand their emotion, as I felt just fine. I was, however, watching the scene from above, seeing myself laying on the beach. I wasn't afraid, I "knew" it was over and I was fine. A few moments later, I feel the CPR; I feel him pushing air into me, and having the overwhelming desire to vomit. The next moment they were laughing and crying and patting me on the back. and I was fine. I can state that the terror I felt drowning SUDDENLY became a light and comfortable feeling. It's like a quiet announcement of "That's all, folks!" and I stopped struggling. No light at the end of the tunnel, no dead relatives, no seeing angels. Just and overwhelming calm and serenity. I believe that's probably how it's going to be when it IS for the last time. Just......abrupt peace. I don't want to end my life, but I don't FEAR death as much as I did before. (note: I am pagan, not christian, so I don't have prerecorded visual cues on WHAT I am supposed to see)
As you did learn from the video, even though you arent alive, or near the brink of death your brain still works but i do not know how to explain how you saw the men performing cpr
I also did!! Wow!! My dad did save my life though. I was sitting on the dock edge and a ton of adult and teens run to jump into the water but they were so heavy that the dock went under water with me aswell, and 2 guys fell ontop of me, I was small so no one saw me snd i "fainted " under water and woken up later by my dad screaming my name as I laid on the beach. Scary scary stuff.
I almost died drowning too, it was when i was 4 years old. My dad looked away for a second and the next thing he knew was that i was gone from the small side, i was drowning, i couldn't move and i saw someone save me, and i saw my family when they were doing cpr on me (i dont remember much tho), but my experience wasn't like yours at all. I felt like i was sleeping and didn't hear anything, then I woke up what felt like 2 secs to me
My grandpa died in 2019, and I remember so clearly standing over his open casket at his funeral. It was bright blue, with a beautiful wreath on top. And I looked into it, and he looked nothing like I remembered. His cheeks were normally rosy, but his whole face was pale white. After that day, I became terrified of death. Not for me, though. I am not scared of me dying. I am scared of my family dying. A year later, my half brother committed suicide, and that was just as bad as my grandpas funeral. Again, it was an open casket, but they had a little black cube to cover where he shot himself in the head. Lying in that casket, he looked so peaceful and innocent, and I broke into tears. I felt so bad for his mother and sisters, and we were all sitting there the whole time crying together
trust me that truly hurt my grandpa will die soon he has done so much for us and I'm afraid Im gonna lose him but don't worry when you die you'll see them trust me sorry for your loss
THIS EXPLAINS SO MUCH! When I was 10 my great-grandmother, Grandma Goat is what we called her, died. At her funeral we had an open casket. Everything went smoothly until it was time to say our final goodbyes and leave. When it was me and my grandfather's turn she opened her eyes. They were black! I have been terrified since. Thank you for explaining this!
though i was dead only as in brain dead for a couple of days I believe I was on the other side. I was in a bed with blue sheets, the floor was powder blue and there were no walls and the blue went on to eternity. it was well lit but don't know how. i was not hearing or seeing others but could hear them in my mind telling me that i was being judged. I knew they knew all about me. i felt that they decided I was worthy but i know somehow i was going back. It felt like weeks in that state but i eventually woke up. I was so messed up I couldn't see or talk or move. It took months of intensive therapy before i began to function normally again.
Hello I'm from india. There is this neighborhood aunt who once died and while people were making arrangements to carry her to her burning ground, she woke up. Her death was declared officially but she just woke up and got into a little shock. Everyone was scared and then she told everyone about what she saw on the other side. She claims to have seen a door through which when she passed, she saw many saints dressed in white, white beard touching the ground and sitting on a high place like a judge sits in the court. She told that there were their servants and all the saints had huge books placed before them. When they saw her, they checked her name in their book and they got shocked and told the servants to take her back to her body before the villagers burn her body. The saints told that she is not the one, she has to live more years and then she was brought back to her body by the saints. There are 3 such incidents in my village. A guy named raghuveer died and woke up and the second he woke up, another guy named raghuveer died from the next house. My whole village knows these happenings, my own grandma was there to witness that aunt's death.
@@Arun-zt5kw in india there are many incidents that confirm the death birth cycle of a soul. Idk if you heard or not but I've heard many. In such a case whenever the kid learns to speak, he tells everyone about his previous life. I know one such incident where a kid remembered he used to live in Amritsar (where his family had never been before) and the kid told his family about everything like the house, his previous family and very accurate details about his family. When he was taken by his new family to Amritsar, all the details matched correctly. He visited his old family, greeted them and told them that he has to go with the new family. By time he started forgetting his old memories and at a point totally forgot any of this had happened.
When I had my heart attack, everything was just blank. Then, I heard my husband in a far, far distance yelling for me to come back, he was doing CPR. He was actually in my face but my hearing made it seem he was a mile away. Then, his voice sounded closer and closer. I woke up (somewhat dazed) to realize I was laying the kitchen floor. EMT's arrived and I was taken to the hospital. I don't remember the ride or the ER. Just came to in a hospital bed. I was out for about 4-5 minutes, that was it. No light, no loved ones visiting, nothing.
@@Kawaii_Bunnies- she died for a few minutes because of a heart attack and caused her heart stop and due to cpr and other stuff it allowed the heart to pump again so yeah
I saw an interesting movie that discusses death in a very personal but intriguing way. It's a Japanese film called Departures. A guy accidentally gets employed by a specialized funeral home and gradually learns how to prepare and dress the bodies of the deceased for the funerals so that their families can view them in a peaceful state, no matter how tragic their passing. The loved ones actually get to watch the preparation process if they want to. It takes a look at how gruesome and traumatizing death can be, and turns it into something peaceful and hopeful, helping the viewers feel closure. Highly recommend!
"To die would be an awfully big adventure" - Peter Pan. Sums up my thoughts exactly. I came very close once, in 1974 after a serious motor accident. I can't say I saw anything out of this world, but I know I felt very peaceful during the several weeks I was unconcious. I don't fear death (there is no point, I can't stop it eventually happening) - just hope it won't be painful.
When I was a CNA in the 90's, we needed 5 people in there to clean her. Every minute or 2, she would sit up, open her eyes and gasp. Scared the hell out of us cause she had no heartbeat and wasn't breathing.
I absolutely love the unbiased informative and retrospective look into death as it makes me realize I prefer to know what happens before I die just so I might be a bit more comfortable dying in the first place.
When I was 17 I was working as a nursing aide at a nursing home. It was super short staffed, one nurse and me on 3 floors that night by our selves. One lady named opal had been in hospice for a while and we were all waiting for her to pass. Assumed it would be a few days. I think it was about an hour or two before 1st shift was supposed to come in she took her last breathe. The nurse came and got me and I'm freaking out because I've never even touched a dead body. As we were cleaning the body we had to roll her over and it sounded like she gasped. I immediately let go and started crying thinking she was still alive. The nurse then told me that it was just trapped air. After that day I quit. I realized that nursing is just not for me lol
I heard about a guy who died in the sitting position. Supposedly his body wouldn’t “lay flat”, so the mortician had to wire him down ; AND you guessed it , the wire broke and his body sat up & air puffed out of the lungs… in the middle of the funeral service of course! … True or not, idk , but either way it’s kinda creepy!
When my uncle and one of the members of the MC my father was the VP of went to pick up his body the air that was still trapped in his lungs escaped causing my father's body to groan and completely freaked out both my uncle and the patch holder.
I was very serious and also felling a touch of fear to watch but the way you explain was so funny that makes me more interesting and fun to watch...😂😂😂👍👍

When I was an EMT, I heard a story of a man who had cardiac arrest and was having CPR performed on him. The EMT made a comment to the effect of 'If you werent so fat, you wouldnt have died.' The man survived and later told the EMT that he had heard what he said.
I’m a paramedic and I have seen more dead bodies than I can remember. Pick a way to die and chances are I’ve seen it. I can tell you from first hand experience, the smell of a dead body, especially one that has been exposed to the elements or even worse, a body that has been in a stifling hot hotel room with no circulating air, is a smell that finds its way to your nostrils and stays there for days. Not to mention how a body that is in the decomposition stage, looks. The human body is truly a fascinating machine
There are studies and they have found that a human loses 3 in accounted for grams upon death, they can’t figure out why. I’m not very religious but this just gives me hope that there is a soul.
When I was a child, before to receive 5 y.o. I loved to keep my breath when I got to bed. Usually it didn't last too long, but I was recalling that sensation of FLOATATION above, towards the ceiling. Once I kept my breath quite longer and I got outside of the building where we have lived, and the streets where into a peculiar dashed light as I was seeing everything around into infrared (grey and white). And only once, and the last time, I could keep it even longer (my breath) and I was into a sudden above a big city full at lights, just almost close to but I had to "come back"... Later, when I was already 5 y.o. I've got a night-dream, it just happened, with no intention: I knew that I was an adult person into my dream and I was standing on top of a huge building, on the top terrace of that tour-building which was in the middle of a huge intersection (I knew that huge intersection, far away @ 4 stations away the place where I was living). BUT those years there was NOTHING in that intersection, it was just a railways cross with other main roads. That was all that time. BUT in my night dream I was an adult, an accomplished person, so high on top of that place, on that milk-white lucent terrace, bordered by coloured light bulbs (as you may use at Christmas into your garden), and I was there ALL ALONE, a perfect accomplished adult, just VERY LONELY. And the land down there couldn't be seen because of the heights and the skies were black-dark as the the bitumen, NO STARS at all. I wished to re-vision that night dream, and I had it once again and another, totally three times. Such I could keep it into my mind all my life long. When I was around 7 y.o. I asked myself: "Where is LOVE-feeling coming from?" and - alone into my room - I shut my eyes and was wondering by my mind if should it be the source of LOVE into my head, NO! - it was just dark in there, then should it be into my neck, neither there - darkness, all the same, what about my chest, NOTHING in there but again darkness... AND suddenly I clearly heard a MAN's VOICE into my mind: "Do You Really Want To Know?", HE said! I've opened my eyes and - probably shouting - I said: NO! NO! NO! And I run into the kitchen, where my mom went before, to be with her and my granny. Last time, I was exactly 45 y.o., after 40 year of that 5 y.o. night-dream, ALL ALONE indeed, into my room, after 4-year continuous time of NO SLEEP, into depression, when I decided to give myself to God, such I said: "God, I want NOTHING more from this life! YOU take my life, YOU take all that I am, all that I want!" And, in my mind, I was like I THREW all my life to the feet of GOD, as you do with your garbage! Into an instant, I had a vision (I wasn't sleeping at all !): A huge Cosmic River of LIGHT God was overflowing to me; pure LOVE, holy LOVE-Light! A question came into my mind: "Shall it be this LIGHT - Jesus?" And another vision came, and I was just an empty half of a nut shell, in which God was pouring His huge Cosmic LIGHT. What was I? A piece of wood, the tiniest one possible, no core, no bright, no colour - like soil, not even good to waste in a fire. And that LIGHT was all LOVE ! HOLY, HOLY, HOLY !!!!! It was the month of December, 2009. God gave me that moment a New LIFE! It was exactly like in that night dream of my 5 y.o.: Me - in depression (the sky was heavy black, truly in that dream and in my life then!) God's LIGHT: HOLY place for my feet into that dream; in December/the coloured light bulbs bordering the white terrace. That high terrace was indeed in the city I still live, right in that intersection, because exactly that year, in 2009, the Mayor put into circulation a huge work, a bridge over that intersection and the other one further and it has two tours exactly that place as in my 5 y.o. night-dream :) I should have been far away, in 2009, into th other hemisphere of the Globe, but GOD knows better! I was still here, meeting with HIM Who saved my LIFE, 40 years later, as in that dream (I had EVERYTHING: money, car, diplomas, children of my own, an appartement, the acts for leaving the country...., alone?) No, I could not leave my children! I fought with myself for 4 years long, in Satan's hands, until I quit. Instead to suicide, I decided to throw my life with everything towards GOD. HE gave me ANOTHER. Nowadays, finally having a BIBLE and reading it, I am amazed! There is ALL The TRUTH ! If I would have known earlier...?! ... But GOD wanted to TELL me: "Do You Really Want to Know?" !!!! HE LOVES US !!!!!!! WE ARE HIS CHILDREN !!!! But we have NO IDEA in what we are into... PLEASE, read your BIBLE ! please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you're not crazy i have had similar experiences and even crazier, when i was 5 i floated towards the ceiling too but i was being dragged by angels towards the ceiling, i think i was kicking them cus i was scared and fell back down into my body, that's probably the most TAME supernatural experience i've had, too many to list here, but God was with me since i was little i just didn't know it at the time, but looking back on it i know that's what it was the whole time. I've seen UFOs/Angels/Jesus/been infused with The Holy Spirit/had the devil breathe down the back of my neck/seen UFOS turn into fluctuating portals in the sky/seen the Sun change 5 colors in 5 minutes and smile at me like an emoji even though the smile was in my memory of the event which was altered as the event was happening. Nobody would believe me about any of it but it is truth and The Holy Bible is truth. I hear voices all the time too, i feel like they lie a lot of the time to me, but sometimes they are right and can predict the future, they will say something that makes zero sense until way later on when something happens that makes it make sense. There's literally too many to list in one post.
@@w33d533d , I never heard any voice since then, and that was the singular time when it happened. Yes, the BIBLE is all true !!!! There are Angels because the Bible says so, and these Angels are of two kinds: the GOOD ones, and just 1/3 of the total no. of the Angels made by God - this 1/3 of them - are BAD Angels (the Fallen Angels) who are together with Satan, their "Master" (NOT their creator!). I have had the whole life full of night dreams which came true... One of the last night dreams I had was about "two old women" (in the begining of the Pandemic year, 2020). Those two old women were into a house on the ground near the place of my childhood, right at the main road. There were many people... And when I saw one of the old women (in my night dream), I pointed my finger towards her and got closer and closer towards her, pointing her out, and telling her: "I know YOU! I know YOU! I KNOW YOU (as I will make a Report, to denounce her)! YOU wanted me DEAD multiple times! I KNOW YOU!", I said into my night dream. And that old woman was puzzled (in my night dream) she didn't know what to do... When the other woman, even much older than this one but somehow more important than that first one, appeared from a room behind them and her gestures were to make her sibling peaceful, something of the kind: "do your job, you see for what you have plenty to do; don't bother... (with this one / about me but without any eye connection none of them; quite a little fearful of me), but the one more important of them, SATAN (!) was quite relaxed, as "she" knew that we will meet, all of us three, some time... As the first old woman - very fearful for I know her and I have NO FEAR of her - was the old, yet not the oldest, the "DEATH". Satan is older than Death. I went further, in that night dream, on my path, letting the old women behind, were Death was in a lot of work with the mass of people over there, in the road, and Satan staying close to her, reassuring her to stay calm..., to watch her loads of work, to pick her people from the crowd... As I said, it was 2020, somewhere... The very next year, I got COVID and I was close to loose my heart... (I stayed at home after that and recovered in 6 months...) God is so good ! ! ! !
No one say that I'm crazy, none of those who knows me! Thks! TRUST in God!!! Live your life upon God's Commandments and trust in God - He will SAVE us even in that hour of our death ! It will be NOT-DEATH, but just like a night sleep for everyone who's TRUSTing GOD ! PEACE! God's Peace be upon all of us!
When we were kids Our Mom has us go to the funeral home, to pay our respects to an elderly neighbor. We didn’t know him well, but our Mom wanted us to see what a dead body looked like. She went on to tell us that the first dead person she saw was her Mother , needless to say it was very traumatic for her . So our Mom wanted us to know what a dead body looked like, without it being a close loved one. Looking back I’m thankful she did that.

I really love the little Amazed character and how you guys have animated him over the years. The rigor mortis part and the part shortly after 5:00 about "pitching one last tent" had me dying 😂 I love that little guys expressions, so perfectly timed.
@@minhchaubuingoc8384 actually it's not, the only resemblance the 2 characters have are the eyes, and even those are drawn different. I can see how younger people that play that game would think they're the same, but from an artists prospective they are completely different. Teeth are different, emotional gestures are different, animations are different, everything is different. Could the animator/artist for the channel have taken inspiration from the cute little green thing? Possibly, but I think it's more likely that because you play the game a lot and like the character, you're associating it with the Amazed character due to artistic similarities. It's not a bad thing or uncommon, people do it all the time, and that's why art is entirely subjective.
In 2017 I went to get a surgery in the hospital, and when your asleep you don’t feel or see anything but I did. My most loved grandpa died this Feb in home. His eyes (his iris was bigger than usual like our eyes in the dark) and mouth were open when he died. It was traumatizing for me to see him like that. My youngest brother passed away Sept of 2018. We had always talked about the possibility of life after death. Especially since he'd lost his wife of 20 years just 2 years prior. While he was still able to talk with me during his last few days, I gave him a keyword. I asked that if he did go into some form of afterlife. That he find a way to reveal that keyword to me. No matter how it gets revealed to me, I'd accept there is life after death. Well, it's March of 2022 and I still haven't seen or heard the keyword in any fashion.
I like the keyword idea. Maybe it doesn't always work; but I will give my daughter a keyword. I have some faith that I will be able to contact her; only time will tell. I know it works SOMETIMES; so I'm going to give it a go.
My dad did give me our keyword. He was a Volkswagen mechanic. After he died I was having a particularly hard day and as I was crying. I could hear my dad's words encouraging me but I also looked up to the sky and clouds and asked my dad if he was there could he help me and if he could show me a sign so I knew it was him. Within about 20 seconds, a cloud appeared with the VW sign, the circle sign with VW inside it. My jaw dropped and I burst out laughing. I then new that the words I was hearing in my head were in fact my father encouraging me, that he was actually there helping me. It boosted my resolve and gave me the strength to make it through the day.

Cartman (from South Park) was visiting a friend in the hospital who had a terminal illness. The friend asked Cartman, “What’s it like after you die?”. Cartman thought for a moment and replied: “I think it’s a lot like before you were born.”
hello my friend, me being a nosy twat i just want to ask you a couple of things.....first being before hearing that on south park had you thought/wondered that yourself? and the other thing is whats you view/opinion on the subject its self then?
It cannot be like before you were born cause you have not been born. Since you have not been born, the moment you were born is your first day of existence. The counting starts right there. My mom was born in 1963 and my father in 1949. These were the two preconditions for me to exist. So there is big difference between the two. When you were in your mothers womb you had no idea of an afterlife, you probably thought that there is nothing beyond your mothers womb. So Cartman was wrong and talked bulllshit.
I really liked how this topic was approached. Very informative and I did learn a few things I really didn't know about which is why I watched it. I was also curious on what exactly was going to be explained in the video and I was disappointed. He didn't down religion or people who just believe that nothing happens to us when we die. Good job.
i read about people that have had near death experiences and they've said religions don't matter, there's one heaven everybody goes to no matter what they believe. i kind of hope that's true, then one day when that time comes we can all be together no matter what our religious beliefs were
Sorry to be the one to tell you, that's not true. Only a select few go to heaven 144,000, whereas the rest of us will be buried and return to the Earth to await a resurrection in Paradise.
Even though some of these may seem macabre, funeral directors/embalmers have a very difficult but necessary job. After listening to some videos where funeral directors very respectfully explained what it is they do and why it's done the way it is. They really have to go through and experience very unpleasant circumstances pertaining to the deceased, much of what many of us wouldn't or could not do. Therefore I take my my hat off to those funeral directors who very respectfully care for our loved ones and who actually care about what they are doing. Many of them do care. I learned a lot from that.
This video was so interesting! Answered so many of my questions on death. Hope to see more videos on the human body with the same scope and depth as this one had.
I was in a deadly two wheeler accident on 2018 when I was on my way home from my friend birthday party. All of my family members and my friends never expected me to come back to life ,coz my jaw was fractured and I had a serious head injuries which even the doctors and nurses who were treating me didn't expect me to be alive coz of my head injuries but it was all by the grace of God , I really thank God for keeping me alive till today AMEN 😊☺️
I love that you included religions. It’s quite funny that religion is so divisive but they all are the same thing just expressed differently based on that person’s culture
4:12 is actually incorrect. Rigor mortis can actually arrive within 30 minutes and then extremely rare cases may be instantaneous. Rigor mortis would have already been beginning to be present before three hours. Also, all the timelines given in this video for postmortem interval (liver Mortis close rigor mortis and Algor Mortis) are highly dependent on environmental factors such as external temperature, how physically active the person was immediately before the time of death, size of body, presence of clothing or not, etc.

There once was a person brought back to life and they said that they were dreaming of replaying their life and it felt like they was in that state for 70 years but in reality it’s been 7 minutes
It's science. When you are about to die, your brain starts replaying all the memories from your life that you've had in your lifetime and sometimes creates some of its own. In that state, time also seems slow, so that makes sense-
When I lost blood for a second time, due to a Duodenal ulcer in 1998, I was passing out, and while I saw nothing, woke up and threw up more blood. I was Crawling around a bit, because I had trouble standing due to blood loss, and then drove to my Dr, who checked me into the hospital due to my rapid pulse due to the blood loss. The next day the GI doctor did an endoscopy on it, and over several days I recovered, receiving 2 pints of blood. Luckily with medication I am still OK today. That's my near death experience.
This was very interesting. I have had two after death experiences. Thank you for explaining some of what happened. I am a Christian and I do believe heaven is real
11:47 Body is in the Form of One's Self, where creation and existence never cease. The being of One's conscience is always alive, and nothing ever stops to the core of the soul.
Fact of the day; A cadaver is a corpse used for research. I noticed he called them "cadavers" a lot and wondered if he was using the right term for the corpses.
When I was a child asleep one night, I went into night terror’s. A veils was opened and I saw about 10 sec of Hell. To this day as a 58 yr old man I will never forget that moment. An overwhelming fear that cannot be described in human term’s swept my entire soul. I was in shock for 3 days. My mother could not console me.
Yeah just be a faithful Catholic and you won't be in that position. If you go to Heaven, you will see how many souls just fall like one ton bricks into Hell.
I don't believe it, I just never have and I respect people who do, I believe in the science ok, I just am a nerd and have no reason to go against the science, just like most people are born into a belief, i was born into a law of science and math and physics not religion
I wish everyone would teach their children the science of death and the mystery of our experience. The mystery part is where some people sell other people comfortable answers and stories. Humans really hate an unsolved mystery. They will make up something to feel better. Being OK with the mystery and focusing on today is living.
I am curious. Do the near death experience of those brought back differ as to their prior beliefs about an after life? By the way. A very good video. Well rounded without belittling anybody's belief. Considering how many videos treat religious beliefs, I almost didn't look at this one. Glad I did.

That, my friend, is impossible. It's like saying that everyone's idea of the chemical makeup of an atom of Hydrogen is equally true- if Joe says it's not Hydrogen, but Calcium, how can he be correct? You're delving into the insanity of 'personal truth' when in fact, there can only be one truth- that is the very core of truth itself. Something cannot cease to be true or real in any sense just because one person chooses to view it differently. If I were to touch a piano key, that would be reality and no amount of believing that I did not touch that piano key will make it any less of a reality or a truth.
Christians don’t believe that they can earn heaven, they believe that it is your relationship with Christ that determines if you go to heaven and yes you should still try to do the right thing. This is what the people I know believe at least. Great video nonetheless though love your channel.

The Islamic explanation of death in this video, although only scratches the surface, but is pretty accurate and par with my understanding according to what I've learned as a Muslim. When I say this video only scratches the surface, it is what anyone with knowledge of Islam would expect being that in Islam, death is explained in great detail. Overall I give my stamp of approval. It's obvious they've apparently learned the Islamic explanation of death from a valid source.
My grandpa “died” when he was only ten. But the reason I think this is what actually happens is because no one resuscitated him. It might not make sense now but it will soon: So my grandpa and I are both Christian. He and his brother were riding their bikes to church one day. There was a car clearly Speeding that was coming up behind them, but they didn’t think much of it. All of a sudden, there handles got tangled and my grandpa was thrown off the bike and died because he was hit by the car. He said all there was was white. Just white. It was bright, but just the same, white. So he started walking. Then he came across two chairs. But someone was sitting in one already. It was Jesus. He looked behind him saw Angels. As far as the eye could see, it was just angels. So he sat in the other chair and looked in front of him. He said it was like an Undescribable screen, just about. He couldn’t describe it. Then something plays on that screen. It was in a kitchen, and there were 2 people there. A little boy, and his mom. The mom was cooking something. The little boy reached towards the stove. The mom said, “ No no, Martin, the stove is hot.” That was his name. The mom proceeded to walk into the pantry to grab something, but the little boy, Martin, touched the stove and gets burned. In case you didn’t know, Christians call wrongful actions “sins” He said him, God, and the Angels watched every sin of his whole life right then and there. It lasted roughly three whole hours. He said they were about half way through when he THOUGHT to himself, “Thats not fair! Where’s all the good stuff that I did?!” But he heard an entirely different voice in his own thoughts. “The good is what is expected.” God has read his mind, and replied in his mind. When they finished the “movie”, God said to him,(in his head), “Up or Down?” He knew what he meant. Heaven or Hell. But he didn’t want to answer, so he thought, “What do you mean?” He saw a picture of God. One hand was up, the other down. All he said was “God, I want a second chance. Please.” And he was under the car with his brother screaming bloody murder at the man who hit him. God always forgives. 🙏🏼
to the confused lads in the replies, he was clinically dead, in this case, actually dead though still had a chance to be resuscitated, and that's what is said in the comment
I've witnessed a Vagal (sorry for the misspelling) response. But it can actually be considered a safety concern for some elderly to go to the bathroom as they will have a heart attack while on the toilet. My second day of clinics for CNA training I witnessed a woman go through this. She started out lively, then began staring straight ahead, followed by unresponsiveness, and finally my trainer jumped into action and pulled the cable in the bathroom and sent the other CNA to get the nurses. The room was filled with people and we managed to get her back and given my trainer had witnessed this before with this patient, it was decided she would no longer go to the bathroom.

Yea I had no idea that bodies did that and even knowing that I'd still be freaked if I heard it.
That is just scary. ZOMBIES ARE REAL NOOOOOOOO!!!!! lol
@@danielobrien1571 Please dont do this here.... It's creepy
(Long) Edit (sorry!): As I’ve grown older and seen many many deaths as a nurse, I’m not AS afraid of death as I once was, but I admit my fear isn’t that much less than before.😟 I think my biggest fear (and I’m sure many others would agree) is to suffer, to have an extremely painful, long, drawn-out death.

Why was her stomach moving ?
Rest in peace to your friend 😢
Damn... glad you're alright now🫂
@@Sandragomes199 I don’t want to speak for OP, but I went through something similar as a child.
I’m clueless. What was in her stomach??! 🤔🤔😳

I retired as a police officer and was an evidence technician. I saw many bodies that had been undiscovered for days. I will never forget that odor.

AND suddenly I clearly heard a MAN's VOICE into my mind:
"Do You Really Want To Know?", HE said!
Into an instant, I had a vision (I wasn't sleeping at all !):
A huge Cosmic River of LIGHT God was overflowing to me; pure LOVE, holy LOVE-Light!
A question came into my mind: "Shall it be this LIGHT - Jesus?"
And another vision came, and I was just an empty half of a nut shell, in which God was pouring His huge Cosmic LIGHT.
It was exactly like in that night dream of my 5 y.o.:
Me - in depression (the sky was heavy black, truly in that dream and in my life then!)
God's LIGHT: HOLY place for my feet into that dream; in December/the coloured light bulbs bordering the white terrace.
That high terrace was indeed in the city I still live, right in that intersection, because exactly that year, in 2009, the Mayor put into circulation a huge work, a bridge over that intersection and the other one further and it has two tours exactly that place as in my 5 y.o. night-dream :)
I should have been far away, in 2009, into th other hemisphere of the Globe, but GOD knows better!
PLEASE, read your BIBLE !

you're not crazy i have had similar experiences and even crazier, when i was 5 i floated towards the ceiling too but i was being dragged by angels towards the ceiling, i think i was kicking them cus i was scared and fell back down into my body, that's probably the most TAME supernatural experience i've had, too many to list here, but God was with me since i was little i just didn't know it at the time, but looking back on it i know that's what it was the whole time.
(I stayed at home after that and recovered in 6 months...)
God is so good ! ! !

Sounds about right
It cannot be like before you were born cause you have not been born.

I'm good now and have made peace with it so on a lighter note thank God there was no 💩 or pee cuz I think that would have probably put me over the edge
I was pretty close to it but that would be it I'd be done
Sorry dad😉 (he's definitely laughing up there)
I guess not everyone poops n pees when they die
I hope to God I don't
That'd be my luck and my final embarrassment as the icing on the cake to a probable embarrassing end
Lol
Oh yes and the whole rigamarole can't spell it stiffness is for real cuz he'd been gone for several hrs and I felt it. His eyes were open but barely.
I no longer find it creepy or scary cuz that was my Dad and I'm grateful that I was the one that found him cuz my mother wouldn't have been able to handle It
May they both rest in peace and not be up there arguing as usual,😉
Wait,your mom is dead aswell?
I found my mother in a similar way except she went in her sleep, probably shortly after I checked up on her and had a quick chat
"Rigamarole" 😆

I'm sorry for your loss
I believe my father went in his sleep as well I hope because when I found him It was about 9:00 a.m. generally he wakes up at 4:00 a.m. because he used to leave at 5:00 a.m. cuz he had to commute 2 hours from North shore Suffolk county Long Island all the way to Westchester county because he worked for Con Ed
Even when he got sick and wasn't working for months he still got up super early cuz he was used to it for like 30 years
Anywho he adorably kept a little diary on the calendar and wrote super super super tiny diary type entries in the boxes and he basically said he had a pain attack around 4:00 a.m. then made sure he set up the coffee pot in time for Mom to wake up
Seems sad to read for someone that doesn't know me but anyone that knows me knows my dad and that was just typical him on the verge of literally dying made sure he made his tiny diary entries in the 1-in by 1 inch boxes on the calendar I do the same thing now it sounds kind of like weird but like father like daughter😉
Maybe John Irving had it right in his novel "The World According to Garp." What you believe in life is what becomes your afterlife.
I've always said I'd like to think everyone goes where they want to go :)
In that state, time also seems slow, so that makes sense-
Love this channel I've learn a lot from there's videos❤plz make more❤❤
When I lost blood for a second time, due to
a Duodenal ulcer in 1998, I was passing out,
and while I saw nothing, woke up and threw
up more blood. I was Crawling around a bit,
because I had trouble standing due to blood
loss, and then drove to my Dr, who checked
me into the hospital due to my rapid pulse
due to the blood loss. The next day the GI
doctor did an endoscopy on it, and over
several days I recovered, receiving 2 pints
of blood. Luckily with medication I am still
OK today. That's my near death experience.

Glad I did.
I was dead for about 3min and a comma for 4days. But I remember the light, warmth and timelessness. No angels, relatives, or tunnel... Take it for whatever it's worth.
I heard that your brain replays all your memories seconds after death
@@yez9475 If the person actually died, how would we know that?
@@williamromine5715 They did a science experiment on them, seconds before they died. I heard it on a video
@@yez9475 Well that would make it true. Just wondering how scientists can read the thoughts of a person who dies without regaining consciousness? If they can do that, they should be able to read the thoughts of a person in a comma.
very informative.... thinking back when I lost my dad to a heart attack...I found him groaning with dilated pupils...it hurts me now to think that I did not know what to do then.coz he was probably "clinically dead" maybe, just maybe a CPR could have resent oxygen back to his heart and brain....well😢....
not really cpr but if he was rushed to the hospital fast enough they could have used a defibrillator to restart his heart.

Imagine if all the the beliefs of the after life are true and whatever you believe is what happens to you
Oh I’m so glad I wasn’t the only who thought that!😂
Wow
that sounds like a bad thing -,- just saying
That, my friend, is impossible. It's like saying that everyone's idea of the chemical makeup of an atom of Hydrogen is equally true- if Joe says it's not Hydrogen, but Calcium, how can he be correct? You're delving into the insanity of 'personal truth' when in fact, there can only be one truth- that is the very core of truth itself. Something cannot cease to be true or real in any sense just because one person chooses to view it differently. If I were to touch a piano key, that would be reality and no amount of believing that I did not touch that piano key will make it any less of a reality or a truth.
I would LOVE that
Wow this video is so AMAZING. I never knew some of the facts.😵😵
Christians don’t believe that they can earn heaven, they believe that it is your relationship with Christ that determines if you go to heaven and yes you should still try to do the right thing. This is what the people I know believe at least. Great video nonetheless though love your channel.

thank you for this. THIS IS THE EXACT REASON WHY I AM TERRIFIED OF IT
The Islamic explanation of death in this video, although only scratches the surface, but is pretty accurate and par with my understanding according to what I've learned as a Muslim.

It might not make sense now but it will soon:
So my grandpa and I are both Christian.
In case you didn’t know, Christians call wrongful actions “sins”
He said him, God, and the Angels watched every sin of his whole life right then and there.
I'm sorry for ur pass
What do you mean by your grandpa passed away when he was 10, do you mean when you was 10?
