If you have a spot booked ahead of time, all you do is go to that spot and then each area has a camp host that checks you in. They will have a camper in a spot with a sign marked “host” and it typically looks a little more permanent like maybe lights strung up, small storage shed etc. but they are pretty good about keeping and eye out and will just drop by if they see you setting up
they have ruined this park for the locals and its all about money. have traffic jams on hiway 259 now and takes for ever to go 20miles. the out of county people are rude and have lived here all my life and now cant pay me to go there. hope the ones that have ruined it for their greed chokes on the money
This looks like a nice park by the lake especially at this time of year with fall colors. 👍🙂
It really is!
Which campsite did you stay at? Looks awesome!
I have stayed in Fern, Hawthorne, and Cedar areas. All different, all great. Better fishing upriver -Simon
A+ review.
Thanks!
Enjoy your videos, Best wishes! Jerry Isbell
Thanks Jerry!
Would you say Blue Jay is one of the better campsites there? What are the most desirable sites?
I haven't personally stayed on the lake side, only the river. I like Grapevine! -Simon
which park are you at in this video? I've booked three spots in Dogwood campground, first time going.
Fern campground inside Beavers Bend State Park, just upriver from Dogwood!
How does the check in work when you get there
