hello, you need to upgrade the Ara feature for izotope Rx, to quickly handle audio problems, I have not seen this on S1 yet.

I’ve connected my Roland A800 pro to studio one successfully, however I do not hear any sound. Studio one is picking up on the keys when I press them but I can’t hear anything can you help me with this.

I don't get a 'Control' option in that little window at top left. It only says Parameter and the drop-down arrow has the options: Recently Touched and Mouseover. I have Studio One Artist 6.6 (at the time of writing).
