Great movie, and great action!! I watched the real game on TV. The movie was just as exciting as the real game!! I just wonder if these guys were real hockey players who learned how to act, or real actors who learned how to skate and play hockey?
I wish they put Wyatt Russell in this movie as Verchota or any of the blonde American players that would’ve been cool, he was 17 or 18 at the time this movie was released

One of the things that made this movie so great was they hired hockey players who could act instead of trying to teach actors to play hockey.
From what i heard they did not know how to act they just taught them to act. Great movie one of my favorites.
