I never thought I'd see Vulture in a Spider-Man movie done this well. His costume design, his character building, his motivation and ofcourse, Michael Keaton, who never disappoints. He looks incredibly intimidating with those mechanical claws and that massive wingspan with the rotors on the side. Definitely like a villain that would give Spider-Man a run for his money in a fight.
Possibly one of my favorite villains in the MCU, even with all the changes they made from his portrayal in the comic books. It just works.
A shame he is another "Tony Stark made a villain" like the next movie, hilarious because kinda Spiderman made his villains by accidents in comics/series
Facts happy to see him finally didn’t expect much from him with Andrew Garfield si sister six. It’s time we see Kraven or Hob Goblin now
yeah but how is he strong enough to just stand up in that gear?
@@robertrizov4247 We actually already have hydraulic technology that lets people carry far more weight than they can naturally, I always say superhero movies take place 40 years into the future, so I'd say its definitely possible.
@@treacle4617 true I saw something like the suit from Elysium for stocking purposes and stuff like that.
Vulture design is top tier
Totally. Not super comic accurate but way more intimidating/cool
For me, I would describe him as akin to Doc Ock in the raimi movies. Just this terrifying mechanical monster presence with a chilling and intimidating theme playing whenever they’re on screen. Just like a bite of some delicious pie: so good. 😉
@@alecdorval so you want a feathered wing man?
Not really
Until this
I love Vulture’s design so much, from his mechanical look, to the fighter pilot style HUD and his lore and motivation is not some supervillain arc level but just a guy trying to make a living for his family.
Kind of, he did murder a guy
@@PenguinFace32 that was an accident. he thought it was a gravity gun or something
@@Burgerkingsucks1 it's kinda hilarious to me, because his reaction is like "welp can't do anything about that"
Bro opened up a box full of arc reactors and still focused on the alien guns💀
He had his priorities like Hela.
yea he should have stuffed some in his pockets tbh but I guess when you just won the "lottery" you're trying to think big picture
boys love guns😂
@@hansolo631 you hand just one of those reactors to a rival company or country and money is no longer remotely important to you
Underrated character of Phineas Mason, or 'Tinkerer'. He was the one who built all these technology for Vulture to use, and he made it with salvage scraps in a warehouse. Imagine what he could do with proper equipment and facilities.
I heard S.H.I.E.L.D. or HYDRA went and "recruited" him.
Tony Stark would be able to build this in a cave! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!
@@zichiro Well I’m sorry, but he’s not Tony Stark.
I love how this scene puts Peter out of his element and he still shows that he has the potential to be the best hero in the MCU.
He saves the bad guy's life, stops a plan that isn't world-ending but is harmful to his neighbourhood, and all the while sacrificing a personal relationship that he values.
That's why I love Spidey and this movie.
Honestly, i feel like audiences are getting to the whole "the universe is gonna end" type plots. It's nice to have something with personal stakes
A lot of people questioned why he didn't give up Peter in the post cred. It's because Peter saved his life, and if anyone was gonna take him out, it is the Vulture. LOVE the post creds!
@@adrianrussell7769 One of the main reasons why the latest MCU films arent affecting me that much. It sounds weird but I care more about personal threats then world ending ones
I swear to God this is one of my fav Spider-Man villains from any movie ever Michael Keaton does Vulture so amazing and this rendition of him is just phenomenal 😌
IKR?! MK is flippin baffilingly beautiful. Their casting department and writers are on fuckin point.
Ya and now as a fanboy, super excited we have Michael Keaton in both Universes.. thinking he is the only actor probably to pull that off! 🍷
@@varunemani damn I didn’t even think about that for real he is an icon for sure 😤🫡
From selling foldanooks to scamming the McDonald siblings and now selling salvaged alien tech and fighting Spiderman. Well done Mr. Wayne
I like how that kid in iron man 3 gives stark idea to the retro invisible stuff
I mean I feel like he got it from shield tho
More of a one sided beatdown than a fight. Spider-Man only landed one hit while Vulture was completely whooping his ass
I wished that vulture won, he kinda deserved to get the loot after such a good plan.
What???
What
Music really can fool you, i was too
I don't think you know what evil is.
One of the best villain portrayals ever.
Let me get this straight. These people can post a 10 minute sequence from a movie with a bunch of ads in it but others can't make a video with 10 seconds of footage without getting demonetized?
They're built different
Channels like these get permission from Sony or other studios to use footage and promote the film, hence the links to buy it in the description
I'm not a big fan of the trust-fund Peter thing, but I think Tom Holland played him really well. I like how he tries to save Vulture from his failing suit, then when Vulture denies his help Peter still runs into the fire to save him again. That's the character of a great hero.
So Spider-Man would rather crash this cargo plane in New York City rather than just track it and catch the thieves once they land?
Most underrated mcu and spider man villain, Michael Keatons acting is amazing in this
Peter doesn't hate his friends father, he just hate what he does. So he stopped him. Thats all.
Super excited we have Micheal Keaton in both Universes.. thinking he is the only actor probably to pull that off! 🍷👍
Man I always loved the basic suits for Spidey, call me old fashion but he never felt like Spiderman when he rocked Stark's gear all the time. Peter always made his own suits cuz he was brilliant, I wouldn't mind the occasional Stark suit like for Endgame and Infinity war cuz that make sense he would need an upgrade, but for Mysterio??? C'mon maaaaan lol always liked Mysterio but he is definitely not avenger level threat he could have rocked the pj suit! But I loved how he started wearing his own comic accurate one at the end of no way home
4:21, I wonder how many people died from that engine falling.
Thanks for sharing
Moment of silence to the people who died from all that falling debris
I’ll really never understand how this movie gets hated on so much just bc Iron Man makes a couple appearances
lol that jet engine just killed 12 people
Wasn't this the place tony first learnt to fly with the mark 2? 6:13 where he flew over a ferris wheel where a kid dropped his icecream?
Wrong city
That was LA this is NY and that was a rookie mistake
@@nathanmingle7looks awfully similar though
Anyone else notice the mark 42 in the background at 3:10?
RIP to all the people lost to the collateral damage
At least he saved the bad guy though 😂
another excuse to display for laughs in Civil War.
what people? the plane crashed near Coney Island and no one was there at the time
@@autobotproductions1244 just go ahead and imagine what happens to shrapnel falling over New York City...
@@That_1_Bohemian ok, that's fair, but still I don't think it would be that bad
Technically every super hero is the cause of the destruction
Peak capitalism is an intern fighting to the death to protect his employer's property from a guy who said employer screwed over massively.
That's one way of looking at it. 🍷😆👍
imagine pretending to care.
Peak RUclips is a comment whining about capitalism on a video from a Spider-Man movie where he fights a man in a flying suit trying to hijack a plane to steal alien weapons.
I detect a little communism
All the vulture wanted was to take the stuff back that was stolen from him. He had contracts and deals with the city. Personally I think spiderman is the bad guy in this movie
I completely agree. And the destruction he caused. Would be cheaper with less human lives sacrificed had he not interfered with the Vulture’s plans. What would the loss have been to Stark anyway? Just a drop in the ocean compared to how much money he has…
@@rosnirait wasnt about stark, peter didnt want the vulture have weapons which he would clearly misuse and that would lead to loss of life. Plus Peter crashed the plane where there were no people so he didnt kill anyone with the damage. Yes the vulture was scammed in the past, but thats no excuse to make alien weapons and sell them. If you murder someone because they hurt you in the past, its still a bad thing isnt it?
Lol how many people died when that plane cut through that tower
For once, I'm happier with the movie design than the straight from comics design. Especially the fighter jet HUD with the green eyes and metallic talons. Also the fact that he's an actual vulture taking what others left behind.
In GTA V Online, I feel like Vulture when you resupply your business and see what its worth. How I feel after all that hard work 2:57. Only to have it ruined or completely wiped out by griefers during the sell. Me now 3:36
Me when I noticed that an Oppressor MKII on the map started to follow me during a business selling mission:
Why is that high altitude vaccine seal so goddamn addictive to gaze at??!!!
I normally like Spiderman but he was a complete nuisance throughout this whole movie. All collateral damaged was caused by him.
9:09 a good guy defeats his opponents.
A hero saves their life.
So a jet turbine from stark industries can’t cut through webbing, but one slam from the vulture and it breaks?
"Good news, everybody. New bath mats are in."
half of pete's problems will be solved if he had the ability to fly
Such a shame that this character was wasted so hard for a cheap Morbius cameo
Don’t get me wrong.
Malkovich will always be my personal fancast for a comic accurate Vulture.
But dammit Keaton did *Amazing* dare I say.. *Spectacular*
Amazing movie. Nostalgia fanboys are fuming.
Now I know where Peter Parker got his strength let me watch it no way home on the final fight heely be on Norman Osborne
If william dafoe was best green goblin.michael keaton was best vulture
Vulture is the 2nd best mcu villain. Fight me
Back when the mcu wqs peak
I was rooting for the vulture on this phone .. they could have spared 1 box come on
Watching Tom Holland inspired me. I need to improve my Bench-press PB.
How much is it for now?
@@JayLim-bn9fh Managed 225 today! Barely.
@@JoshDRivia4 impressive
3:36 GRRRRR!!!!!!
I hated his suit.. Just a giant jet pack.. The way they did, Black Falcon suit and wings were perfect.. They should've done Vulture wings a Bit similar.
Not everything has to be comic accurate you idiot 🗿
Falcon's suit is for combat, this suit is designed to carry heavy loads. That is like saying you hate design of trucks, they should be made like a Ferrari
@@emmanuelasare2908 You made no since.. Dumb people trying to sound smart, just sounds dumber.. lol. The suit is corny. In that case. Why he needs wings if he's already using small Propellers in the center of them, which he can already use to fly?
They really should have let Toomes die if they werent going to use his character anymore after this movie. Then Liz would become a villain like Harry in Tobey’s trilogy. Maybe a new vulture or maybe even black cat
They didn't miss with this one. This is a great film
High anxiety! Can't watch this scene.
How is he able to breathe up there?
helmet😊
Batman really turned a 180
Wasn’t even a fight
Why hasent anyone pointed out that spiderman almost caused a 2nd 9/11 by doing this
*hasn't
Its a movie dude, and also he didnt
Maybe i miss it, i watch the movie few times, but how the hell Vulture knows about the plane? The schedule and time, etc, when it will start to transport the stuff? Where did he get all those information from?
They probably had malware at avengers
Maybe it was public knowledge stark will be moving out of the tower.
I love Marvel movies but man I hate how unrealistic they are. Like, when the villain just leaves the good guy for no reason.
My guy, you had every chance to kill him, end it there. No more Spiderman. Instead, for plot reasons, every hero survives. Even if they die, they're brought back eventually. Just ruins any climactic moments. Just the same formula every time.
-Good guy gets powers
-Bad guy gets powers
-Two meet, fight, bad guy wins, let's hero live
-Hero has moment of self doubt
-Villian draws out hero with crazy over thought plan
-Two meet again, good guy finds inner strength, beats bad guy, who usually dies by mistake, or by their own doing.
-credits.
Toss a few jokes in and you have every Marvel movie made to date.
You could say infinity war was the exception, except in endgame, they brought everyone back again.
Just ruins any climactic moments when you know what's in store for the next phase.
here it's actually in character for vulture to let him live though
@@oldpersonmc18yearold46 why? When in the comics every villain tries to kill Spiderman. Because he dating his daughter? Or so he can expose him later to Stark and then have issues with the Avengers? Lol more reason to kill him now and just move on with his life.
Vulture succumbing to his greed is very much in character. Him being distracted by a shiny box of goodies when he could have finished off Peter was a perfect portrayal. I can see your point of plot armor, but this scene was much deeper than that.
He just appreciates his spirit and he also saved his daughter's life. Just because its different from the comics doesn't mean its bad
I doubt he could kill him though, maybe injure him but none of his gadgets can kill spiderman.
SPIDER MAN PETER VS FULL VITURE FIGHT

This is so much better than Spiderman 2
You're smoking, right?
I mean yeah, if you're braindead

People can find plenty of things in Homecoming that are better than in Spider-Man 2.
Tom holland is so cringe as this character. Literally the worst adaption ever.
agreed. Tobey and Andrew were way better.
Doesn’t help that the movie is garbage thanks to Disney
This movie was garbage
Hands down one of the worst spiderman fighting sequence.. It was so dark to understand anything.. like they ran out of budget after all those tony scenes.. even ferry fight was better
bcz its not a figth, its a whole context with a lot of fundamental feelings and intentions happening at the same time
vultures barely a villain tbh more like an anti-hero
An anti-hero is someone who does heroic things through unusual methods. Someone like The Punisher is an anti-hero because he's a murderer but he kills evil people. Vulture is a villain because he sells alien weapons to petty criminals for his own personal interests, which is selfish.
@@skidward8325 Vulture does it to sustain his family thougth so he is sympathetic.
@@marangelyencarnacion6773oh boo hoo he sustains his family, still illegal and wrong
Spiderman is the villain in this movie. Dumb kid doesn't know wtf he's doing.
